Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting
hayleykat 2/18/2012 11:07:00 PM
Sugar Frosting is my most used Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. I can see why this one isn't as popular with people, but in my opinion it looks great on pale gals. (Like myself!) The great thing about this Lip Butter is that because of its lack of pigment, you could easily apply this without a mirror. It may be sheer, but it's very versatile in the fact that it can stand alone or layer on top of a more opaque lipstick. Overall, this reminds me more of a shimmery, slightly tinted lip balm, but I will definitely be purchasing this again!

Polishes -OPI - Pedal Faster Suzi!
hayleykat 2/11/2012 9:50:00 PM
A beautiful, shimmery baby pink. Application is very smooth and easy, I used three coats even though it looked pretty opaque at two. I think it's one of the prettier polishes out of the O.P.I. Holland Collection, especially if you're looking for a softer look! My only complaint is that you need to make sure and stay inside the nail. It can look a little messy if you're careless with even one layer and a bit of top coat.

Lips -Jordana - Easyshine Glossy Lip Color
hayleykat 1/19/2012 8:33:00 PM
I really wanted to like this product for its price, but I found it was sorely lacking in important areas. My biggest complaint is about the lid. Because the lip product doesn't roll back down all the way, the lid scrapes the product off if you don't place it back carefully. My other complaint is about the taste and smell! I remember reading that they're intense and fun, but my Watermelon Juice is reminiscent of plastic. Complaints aside, this is a very easy, glossy looking lipcolor without the shimmer and sparkle. Cheap, too!

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
hayleykat 9/16/2011 8:36:00 PM
I find Lemon Drop to be one of the creamier Lip Spheres! It smells refreshing, even after a few minutes on your lips, and leaves your lips feeling moisturized. The only major con I have is that the one I bought today came with the actual lip product stuck inside the top. Ironically the base is shaped like a lemon, so I wasn't /so/ mad, but I now have a small gash in the top of the sphere where I stabbed it to wiggle out of the top of the lid. It seems to stick, though, so it won't be noticeable once I wear it down a little.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Milk
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:53:00 PM
Hands down my favorite Jumbo Pencil. I think it has the most tacky like consistency, and it truly makes eyeshadows pop when applied first to the lid. I can't tell you how many times I've bought this, and the only tedious thing about the jumbo pencils are sharpening/depotting them.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Lavender
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:50:00 PM
Very nice lavender, but like Pots and Pans, you need to be patient. Very versatile because it can stand on its own or serve as a very nice base. Just remember to use a primer, since it moves around when applied repeatedly!

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil - Pots and Pans
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:49:00 PM
Probably one of the worst jumbo pencils creasing wise, which means that you need to have more patience when applying. You will NOT like this product if you apply it like Milk, which I find to be more tacky like and can be moved back and forth over the lid several times. However, the color looks wonderful on cool colored gals and looks great on its own. I'll never give this product full lippies on packaging quality until it's easier to get all of the product out.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Wallpaper Shadow Box
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:39:00 PM
Ah, my first eyeshadow palette. (And the one that introduced me to color!) I still use it from time to time because the colors are lovely and pigmented, and surprisingly, the glitter is very easy to manage. As long as you tap before use, you should avoid some fall-out. Primers definitely help in this regard, but still be weary unless you're interested in looking like a disco ball. The colors are incredibly versatile for leaning toward pink so heavily, and look great during fall.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - All-In-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:26:00 PM
The best makeup remover wipes. I don't get that dry, I just buffed my skin with sandpaper feeling, but at the same time, I'm not dripping in residue from the wipes. Now, that doesn't mean it's an excuse not to wash your face afterward, since it does tend to leave that certain wipe feeling if you don't. The scent isn't bothersome at all, and the only thing bad about this would probably be the price. Still, much much better than some lower quality makeup wipes that have a higher price tag.

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:14:00 PM
I've gotten Bad Gal Lash samples three times now and each time I've been somewhat impressed. However, I'm still not sure if it beats out some of my trusty drugstore mascaras. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it like everyone seems to, but I'm still not sure if I'd pay the sticker price for a nighttime mascara. To me, it's slightly similar to The Falsies.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational-Pink Sand
hayleykat 9/15/2011 11:01:00 PM
This lipstick and I have a love hate relationship. If I'm going au naturel with my skin for the day, I find that it looks unnatural and out of place due to the shimmer and slight frost. If I'm wearing 'the works', it compliments many of my makeup looks quite well. I don't find that it's /as/ frosty as some people on here claim, but that's probably because I find that this lipstick looks best applied minimally to avoid the frost effect. Surprisingly moisturizing and the scent isn't strong. This product only got 2 lippies from me in packaging quality because it doesn't have a sanitary seal. If you're interested in purchase, check to make sure someone before you hasn't swiped/swatched the lipstick.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner in BlackBrown
hayleykat 9/15/2011 10:52:00 PM
This isn't my Holy Grail eyeliner, but it sure has been a staple since I've started wearing makeup. Great eyeliner if you're looking for something between a more neutral brown and a harsh black. However, I took two lippies off of packaging because it's not able to be sharpened, which becomes a pain once the tip wears off and you're dealing with the inner eye. It's also not for a makeup wearer that has a tendency to rub their lids, but if you don't fall into that category, it should be relatively long-lasting.
