I can't believe one of the most sophisticated, unique and stunning scents from BBW was discontinued. I love Magnolia Blossom - lotion, body spray, body wash. I stocked up awhile ago but now I'm on my last lotion and body spray :(. The smell is like magnolias blooming but it's not too intense. I get compliments all of the time when I wear it. Can anyone recommend a good dupe? And now I see it on Amazon and eBay for $18-24 per lotion. Bring it back BBW!!

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

This has been my favorite go to facial cleanser for the past year but it looks like it's been discontinued! SAD FACE. Occasionally I come across a store that sells it and I try to stock up. It really removes all my foundation, concealer, blush, powder, etc. I normally use Lancome Bi-Facil on the eyes before hand any way because this doesn't remove all eye makeup. But I do love this and it cleans skin without overdrying. The price is right too. I've compared it to other newer Clean and Clear products and can't determine a good dupe (the pore finishing line is awful). I guess I'll keep hunting in stores or try the clean and clear store.

Eye Shadow -MAC - She Who Dares mineralize shadow duo (Venomous Villains Collection)

I got both Maleficent mineralize eyeshadows. This has very pretty blue/green over a black base with flecks of shimmer and glitter. But the glitter does not get every where and it looks more like the shimmery ocean. It's very very pretty. I think they work better wet and there's a lot of product in this so I can't imagine running out anytime soon!

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Bath Bombs

I love LUSH Bath Bombs! My all time fave is Think Pink. It smells like a garden mixed with vanilla bean. Butterball and Blackberry are great too. They make skin soft and lightly perfumed. I usually make a cocktail of a bath bomb with a piece of broken off bubble bar for an ultra luxurious bath.

Liquid -MAC - Pro Longwear Foundation

Normally I find MAC foundations make me break out and are never quite the right color match, but Pro Longwear has done a decent job. For reference I am an NC50 and this runs a very tiny smidge yellow on me, but not a noticeable difference. I definitely don't get the matte coverage everyone else talks about because I still get rather oily (even with MSF and Blot Powder on top). I probably would buy this again if I can't find a better match.

Lip Treatments -Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm spf 25

Applies very smoothly and makes lips so soft. It is really moisturizing,helps with chapped lips and has SPF 25. The lemon & chamomile version smells soo good. I highly recommend this product!

Palettes -Stila - across the usa

I love the concept and affordability of this set, but the color payoff of the shadows was far below what I've come to expect from Stila. To even get the E/S color to show up I had to pack it on and for darker skin this combo just isn't all that flattering. The Hibiscus color barely shows up on my cheeks but on the lips I used it as a base and layered a rosy pink gloss over it.

Palettes -Stila - Pretty in Paris Palette

This set is entirely more wearable than the first USA palette and the eyeshadows have much better pigmentation. I mostly use Cherie and Jolie on the lid, Crepe on inner corners or highlight and Chocolat on the crease. The shadows even work on darker ladies. I actually liked the convertible color on my lips but I'm not so skilled with using it on the cheeks. Kudos to Stila for the adorable packaging and great price too.

Lip Gloss -Tarte - Lip Gloss- ALL

I received a mini version of 40 Winks and love it! It is a pink color with a slightly golden undertone that applies sheer but can be built up. It applies smoothly and just gives the most beautiful shine but not super super glossy. It makes lips look natural but with definition, moisturizes and lasts a long time.

Highlighters -NARS - Orgasm Illuminator

I love this! I have two deluxe samples I am working through but a little goes a long way. It gives you a nice, radiant and healthy glow. I use my finger to apply it on cheeks and a little on the bridge of my nose on top of my foundation and blend in. It is lightweight and gives the most amazing soft, glowing look. As others have mentioned, this is not a blush or highlighter. It's more of a skin brightener that gives a subtle lit from within look (I'm around an NC50) and wakes up tired skin.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Blot Powder

I use this in Deep Dark (I'm about an NC50) throughout the day and it keeps makeup looking fresh and matte. I don't use the small sponge it comes with because it cakes the powder on, so I just replaced it with a smaller puff that fits into the compact. It really is a lifesaver after a long day in humid weather. I've tried other blot powders, and for the price and how much you get this is the best.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - That Gal

I wouldn't really consider this a primer, but I still like it overall. To me it's more like a brightening prep lotion. I'm on my second sample tube so I can't speak to the twist up packaging of the regular size. On African American skin I was afraid it would give off a pinky-white cast, but under my foundation I think it is OK (unless no one bothered to mention it to me and I've been walking around with a weird complexion for 2 months, LOL). It smells great and feels good on the skin, but I'm not sure it actually helps makeup stay put and it definitely doesn't help with oil control.

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

I think this primer is good, but suffers from some flaws. First, I hate that it comes in a jar and you have to stick your finger in to get the product out. I have a tiny spatula I try to use instead. Second, the texture is a little waxy and you have to really blend to make sure makeup can be blended on top of it. I do like that it covers pores and I mainly use it around my nose and cheeks for that. It seems to help makeup stay in place, but because I have oily/combo skin I don't think it helps with oil control much. Sometimes you can catch it on sale, but I do agree it is a little pricey for a drugstore product.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm

I have two colors (I think Crave and Passion) and think these are great lipstains. They don't overpower my natural lip color but also pack enough punch to show up. They don't dry out thanks to the protective packaging and it comes with a lip balm stick on the other end to help lock color in place and moisturize. I really love the lip balm inclusion, but sadly on both of my stains the balm broke off. You'll just need to be careful when handling that end.
