Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Gelee in medium deep

I have used A LOT of self tanners over the years, and this is the best I've found. I have very pale skin with freckles and really hate sunbathing as it dries out my skin and really only affects the freckles. But I am one of those people that looks so much better with a slight tan! This stuff gives a really nice summer glow when I put it on about 3 times per week. Any more than that it can look pretty orange though. This gives a more noticeable tan than others I've used and doesn't fade in blotches. My one complaint is every time I've tried using it on my face I get a really bad break out. However it doesn't cause any body breakouts. It can be pretty greasy so plan to let it air dry for a bit before putting on clothes! I typically use it in the morning before I blow dry my hair and do my eye makeup. After a lot of trial and error, I have found an exfoliation method that really works to keep a self tan super even. What I will do is take one of those skin brushes used for dry skin brushing and do the dry skin brushing method (using circular motions up the body) then I will shower and shave, then after the shower I will dry brush again. I apply a non-greasy lotion to feet, knees, under the boobs, armpits, elbows and wrists. After this I will apply the loreal sublime bronze. It has really made a difference in the appearance of a self tan!!

Conditioner -Aveda - Madder Root Conditioner

I naturally have extremely thick, damaged, brunette hair that hates to hold any color I put in it, especially red! I got my hair dyed a gorgeous shade of deep copper red and was so pleased with it...until I completely lost the red within 2 weeks after dying and was left with a drab brown. Yep. Two whole weeks and absolutely no red. I was devastated because I had fallen so in love with this color! I began researching and found this gem. It is amazing. I either mix a tiny bit of it with a more moisturizing conditioner or will just use this conditioner by itself. It doesn't feel that moisturizing when you first put it on but the quality of my hair has actually improved!! And the color stayed beautiful for 3 months, until I had some pretty weird roots showing. My hair dresser was so shocked with the results and didn't even have to color my ends because they looked so good still. Oh and for the complaints on the packaging...if you just cut the tube in half when you're almost out you can scoop out quite a bit more with your fingers and then store it by putting the top half inside of the bottom half if that makes sense :) Hope it works as good for you girls!!
