Liquid -Maybelline - Super Stay Makeup

I don't care for this foundation at all. I only bought it because my previous foundation ran out on me pretty unexpectedly so I had to dash to town to grab another and we don't have that much selection in my town so this is what I came away with. I bought the second lightest shade which I soon realised when I was away from the lighting in the shop was way too dark for me. It looks dirty on my skin and doesn't apply very nicely at all. The coverage is medium but I like a fuller coverage on my cheeks and when you add more on to your skin it feels cakey. It's just not a nice foundation! Plus it stained my foundation brush like crazy and now no amount of cleaning or products will get rid of the orange staining on my brush!

Makeup Brushes -Clinique - Foundation Brush

I love this foundation brush!! It applies my foundation perfectly without streaking or shedding a single hair giving a flawless finish. The only problem I have is after using a new foundation it has stained my brush orange and nothing I do and no brush remover I use will get it white again or even remotely white. Not a fault with the brush though as previous foundations came off no problem it's just this one in particular. Seriously annoying! If anyone has any suggestions please send them my way!!

This is a really good sized brush to carry around with you for touch ups throughout the day. Love the pretty pink design on the handle and the brush is super soft.

Blush -NARS - Deep Throat
rated 4 of 5

I really like this blush, it's great for my fair skin tone and is easy to build up for a night out when I'm wanting a more dramatic look. Also love the packaging, it's really sleek which is what I look for. This was my first NARS product so I'm definitely going to try some more after a good experience with this blusher.

Palettes -Sleek - Storm Palette
rated 5 of 5
hannahxx0 6/19/2011 1:23:00 PM

Previously I had never been interested in Sleek products so I never bothered checking their counter out until I did a swap with a girl from America who was after a palette so after I went along and checked them out I decided to buy the Storm for myself because I could see myself wearing all of the colours and I am soo glad I did. The colours are great, I can get a nice gold daytime look out of the palette and a dark blue/green smokey eye from it also. The packaging is nice, the products are super soft to touch and the colour pay off is amazing. At only £6.49 you can't go wrong!

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
rated 5 of 5
hannahxx0 5/23/2011 4:23:00 PM

I can't believe the rubbish rating this product has! It works amazingly on my skin, it feels really moisturising and nourishing and I can't imagine ever using or even trying a different lotion as it just works so well for me. The scent isn't strong or over powering and the formula sinks into my skin nicely leaving it hydrated and totally gets rid of any tightness I get after taking a shower or cleansing and toning. The moisturiser is thin and light as well so when you are applying it it doesn't feel heavy or thick, something I really like. The only bad point about this product is the price of it in the UK, dramatically pricier than in the US for some annoying reason and also the packaging of the small bottle which I sometimes have to buy due to the cost of the larger ones, I wish it was in a tube so I could squeeze it out or with a pump as tapping it out onto my hands sometimes dispenses too much product.

Polishes -GOSH - Holographic
rated 3 of 5
hannahxx0 5/23/2011 4:16:00 PM

I love the effect this polish has, it's definitely something different that I've never experienced before, however the staying power is truly shocking. I apply 3 coats on top of a base coat and it seems to literally rub off of my nails onto anything I touch pretty much immediately after it's dried on my nails. It is a shame it comes off so quickly but I'm pretty sure if I were to run out of this I would re-purchase it due to the fact I know of no other polishes like it, it's a like it or lump it sort of situation with the amazing effect and the rubbish staying power, and I'd have to like it!

Polishes -OPI - Monsooner or later
rated 5 of 5

This nail polish is my favourite red by far. It's not a deep or dark red but a gorgeous summery red, almost an orangey red actually. This lasts quite a few days on my nails before it starts chipping and my bottle has lasted a long time too. Every girl needs this in their collection!

Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Foundation Brush
rated 2 of 5

I've had this brush for about 2 months now, it's my first foundation brush so I've not got anything to compare it to but I've gotta say I am disappointed with it. It leaves streaks on my face which I have to blend away with a make up sponge, something I was hoping not to have to use as I bought the brush to get away from the sponges! The only good thing about it is it's really easy to clean and dries pretty quickly. Not great but not awful.

Fragrances -Hugo Boss - Boss Orange by Hugo Boss
rated 5 of 5

I literally cannot say enough good things about this perfume, it is my all time favorite and unlikely to ever be replaced. It has the most gorgeous scent, I literally smile like a Cheshire Cat when I spray this on and if I'm in a perfume shop I'll spray this just for the hell of it I love it that much. I first got a bottle of this about 2 years ago at Christmas and I've been through multiple bottles since. It's fruity, light and summery, great for this time of year, although it can be the coldest, wettest and dullest winters day and I'd still wear it! Love.Love.Love!

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lucas' Papaw Ointment
rated 4 of 5
hannahxx0 5/22/2011 3:20:00 PM

I love this product, it's super moisturising on all dry areas of skin and is amazing on chapped lips. It doesn't taste or smell bad and the tube literally can last you a year! My best friend bought me a few tubes back from a trip to Australia after me using hers when we were younger. I used to watch her squeeze what seemed like an empty tube for months and months and none of my friends quite believed their could possibly be anything left in there but since having my own I now realise how long this stuff lasts for! I'd say it's a dupe for the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream but doesn't smell bad like that does or have the colouring, I believe it's a lot cheaper as well (like I said it was a gift, I haven't ever purchased it but I believe it is pretty cheap) and has all the great multi-purpose qualities of the 8 hour cream. If you can get your mitts on some then you'll be glad you did!

Eye Shadow -Victoria's Secret - Silk Eyeshadow in Provocateur
rated 4 of 5
hannahxx0 5/22/2011 2:57:00 PM

I bought this a few months ago and love it! It was the only eyeshadow on the stand that caught my eye but was out of stock, I wanted it that badly that I went to another store where the only one they had was completely shattered so again I went to another store and finally found one in good condition! It's a really gorgeous warm glowy golden colour and it's quite pigmented so the product will last you a long time. I always get complimented when I wear it. If you have access to a Victoria's Secret store I'd recommend buying the Hypergloss Eye Shimmer in Golden Lights as when this is put on top of the Provocateur eyeshadow it looks amazing and has quite a bit of sparkle to it which I love, great if you want to add something extra to the shadow to take it from day to night. I really like the packaging too, it's quite sleek and proffesional looking which I am really into. A must have :)

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - 10
rated 2 of 5
hannahxx0 5/22/2011 2:19:00 PM

I really like the bronzer in this product, it works well with my skin tone and contours my cheeks nicely. However I don't like the highlighter, it barely shows on my skin which is a shame because when I swatched at the counter it looked really pretty but it doesn't do the job on my face. I don't like the brush it comes with, if you sweep it down the middle of the two then onto your face it will streak and not look good at all. So I threw that away and used my own brush but because the box is so small I find it difficult to get the right amount of product onto my brush and covering my brush. I hate the packaging, the cardboard box gets really tatty over time and if you ever spilled any water over it then you'd probably have to decant the whole thing. Thumbs up for the bronzer, big thumbs down for everything else.

Blush -MAC - Shell Cream Colour Base
rated 4 of 5
hannahxx0 5/22/2011 1:55:00 PM

I have been using this product in the shade Shell for about two years. I really like it as a highlighter, it sinks into my skin nicely instead of sitting on it and I love the shimmer it leaves on my skin, it's not too much or too little. I wouldn't recommend it in place of a blusher even if you are going for a really subtle colour as even on a fair skin I don't think this product is pink enough to work. I've also used the Cream Colour Base in the shade Pearl. I've got to admit I didn't like it as much as Shell purely because it had no pink tone to it whatsoever, but if you're looking for a cream highlighter without the pinkiness and you only want the shimmer this product gives then that is probably going to be the one for you.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5
hannahxx0 5/22/2011 1:28:00 PM

I love this primer! I use it every time I apply eyeshadow which is pretty much every day, and it keeps it on all day and doesn't require any touching up. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an eyeshadow primer, I've never used any other brand and I doubt I ever would as this works so well. The only thing I can criticise is the packaging. When I arrived home from a holiday and opened my make up bag I literally did not recognise what this was until I picked it up and had a proper look due to the purple somehow getting scratched off whilst it was in my suitcase. It's not a major thing considering how good the product inside is but it would be nice if the packaging could stay looking good rather than looking like I've had it for years in the bottom of my make up bag when in reality I'd only had it a few days!
