Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil

've used many different brands of waterproof eyeliners (from drugstore to high end brands) but none of them even come close to Urban Decay's 24/7 glide-on eye pencils. I've heard so many great things about it and have always wanted to try it but never did until pretty recently when I ran out of black eyeliner and decided to purchase the UD eye pencil in Perversion. Man, was I hooked from the very first application. Just like its name, it glides on very easily (I've never used an eyeliner pencil that would go on so smoothly like that before) and is long-wearing. The texture is very smooth and creamy, making application a breeze. It is also very pigmented. It is smudgable but will set within a few seconds after application and doesn't transfer (Note: I always apply the UD Primer Potion whenever I apply any eye makeup). Having fallen in love with my first UD eye pencil purchase, I went out to get more colors. To date, I have this 24/7 glide-on pencil in Zero, Whiskey, Demolition, Rockstar, Bourbon, Binge, and Ransom...and I love them all :) This is definitely my HG eye pencil and I'm so glad to have found it!!

Lotions/ Creams -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion
rated 5 of 5

I received this body lotion (32 oz) and shower gel set for Christmas last year and they've been my staple ever since! The consistency of this lotion is just perfect - neither too heavy nor too light. It's also moisturizing enough without being greasy. My skin tends to be on the drier side, especially during the winter, and this lotion has helped my skin stay nicely moisturized :) It has a fresh, clean, pleasant, very light floral scent, which sits very well with me because I'm one who can't stand heavy scents at all. The scent kinda reminds me of baby powder. This was my first ever bottle of Philosophy and I've come to really love the Amazing Grace line. The price is quite steep for me but I find it worth the splurge as this body will last me for awhile from using it daily. I will definitely be re-purchasing when I run out! :)

Eye Makeup Remover -Rimmel - Gentle Eye Make Up Remover
rated 5 of 5

The skin around my eye area is pretty sensitive and I wear contacts and whatever brand I've tried somehow made my eye area burn and as a result, makes my eyes water. I've used many different brands of makeup remover over the years - from drugstore ones to high-end brands, both oil and oil-free types - and some even claim to be for sensitive skin but they still burned me and stung pretty bad. At one time, I gave up on make up removers that I didn't use any and just remove my eye makeup using my regular cleanser. That is, until I discovered this remover from Rimmel on one of my many trips to Target! It's really gentle on the skin (like its name suggests) and for the first time, I found a remover that doesn't burn my sensitive eye area!! I wear a lot of waterproof eyeliner and mascara and this remover removes them really easily and effectively! The price is also very inexpensive and I'm actually now on my fourth bottle. I wish I'd found this earlier but better late than never, I guess :) All in all, it's a total win for me and yes, I'd continue to repurchase as long as they're being produced and yes, I'd recommend this!!

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler
rated 5 of 5

I first heard about this eyelash curler from a magazine and it seemed pretty popular. I just got mine last year (the black nickel one) and it lives up to its expectations. My old one was a generic brand one which I've accidentally gotten my eyelid clamped on before several times but with this one, I havent had such problem :) It works really well for me, although it's somewhat expensive, IMO.

Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict Lipstick
rated 4 of 5

I own this lipstick in a shade called "Cosmic Rose" (can't remember the product number offhand tho) - a very sheer, natural-looking pink - and I love it. I love the pretty packaging, the smell of it, and its moisturizing feel which makes it glide smoothly on my lips. It also doesn't feather. The only downside about this product for me is that it's a lil' too pricey. Other than that, I love it to bits :)

Lip Treatments -Clarins - Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm
rated 5 of 5

I started using this lip balm last year after switching from all sorts of brands and now I'm using my 3rd tube. I had a slight skin problem/allergy on my lips but this lip balm has helped a whole lot in terms of moisturizing (cos my lips get chapped/flaky and red sometimes...even cracked) and now that my lips are mostly healed from the problem, I still use this twice every day to maintain its condition :) Plus, it contains natural ingredients so it helped a lot in the healing process too, I'd say. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who has sensitive or problem-prone skin. As for the smell, although many people seem to think it's strong and might not be too favourable of it, I actually like it as it doesnt seem all too strong for me. Well, to each his (or rather, her) own :)
