This is my new HG mascara, it does everything for my lashes I want my ideal mascara to do. It makes my lashes look long, full, thick, and doesn't clump at all. My lashes look fake when I use this, but in a good way. The formula is a touch on the wet side, but not so much that it's clumpy and unworkable. The brush is rubber, which I prefer, and does help to curl my lashes, which is something I never believed a mascara could do. It doesn't flake during the day and looks great all day. I couldn't recommend this stuff more.
So I bought this as a bunch of samples to last me about a week, I can't believe I found them because I didn't want to buy the full size and end up hating it. I got the color 21 because it was all I could find. I was going to get 13, but I'm so glad I didn't. My skin is about NC15, leaning neutral, and 21 is the most perfect match for me I've ever found. People complain about a grey cast to it but I found it helped with the redness in my cheeks. The grey does fade nicely and the cream turns a neutral shade, so if you're very yellow I wouldn't recommend this. The consistency is thick and creamy, which I love, and it covers amazingly. I'd say it was medium buildable coverage. I put it on with my RT expert face brush and it looks flawless. My skin is somewhat dry at the moment and this BB cream doesn't make it worse. It doesn't really hydrate, but I didn't expect it to. The finish is dewy and very flattering. I'm definitely buying the full size of this, I absolutely love it.
I got plenty of samples of this and have used it quite a bit to try to make it work, but it's just not a good product. It does make your eyeshadows give more true to pan color, but it does not help the shadows stay at all. I used it a few times under my eyes as a concealer, which worked all right, and that's what I'd suggest it be used for. But as a primer it's a joke.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Tough as Taupe

The color of this product does not come off as it looks in the jar. I bought it because I thought it'd be a nice taupe to have, but it comes out a really disgusting gray color. It goes on patchy, has next to no staying power. It's just overall an ugly product, I think it should be discontinued.
Absolutely gorgeous color, it's definitely my favorite eyeshadow color. I love using it for a bronzey smokey eye. I love how it's cooler-toned and doesn't pull orange, like most bronzes tend to. It lasts all day and is totally buildable. I'll definitely keep this as a staple in my stash.
BB Cream -Estee Lauder - Daywear BB Anti-Oxidant Beauty Benefit Creme SPF 35

When I went on Accutane I knew I'd need something more moisturizing than my Revlon CS, so I started looking into BB creams. I must have bought four or five by the time I found the EL one, and it is definitely my favorite. It's not the most moisturizing, but I mixed my own moisturizer in with it and it was fine. What I love about it is how natural it looks when you apply it with your fingers. It has the most coverage of any American BB cream I've tried and it looks like your own skin. It gives a semi dewy finish, not quite matte and just looks awesome. I wish it came in more colors, I'm NC15 and the color Light was a shade or two dark, but I mix it with a lighter BB cream and it works. I hope it'll still work when my skin goes back to it's normal oiliness, but I think drier skinned ladies will like this product a lot. I highly recommend.
Mascara -Tarte - Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara
hahalex21 3/5/2013 12:27:00 PM
I really liked this mascara. It built up my lashes in length and volume yet still looked natural. It is a drier formula, but that's what you need if you want to build volume. My only complaint would be that it is kind of difficult to remove, but I wasn't using an oil-based cleanser, which would probably have taken care of it. I would definitely buy this product again, I think it's great.
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
hahalex21 1/28/2013 11:09:00 AM
Okay, I really liked the end result of this mascara. It made my lashes look thick and volumized. That's about where the good points end. The opening for the wand is too big so it leaves a TON of product on the brush, you have to wipe some off to make it useable. It's very wet and a lot ends up on your eyelid no matter how careful you are. A carefully placed tissue behind lashes during application will fix that, but still. My big issue with it is most likely just me. I used it for about four days, and it was the only product I changed in my routine. Within a few days the skin around my lashline was incredibly sore. I immediately stopped using the mascara and the soreness went away after three more days, but the rest of my face broke out in a rash. Keep in mind I changed absolutely nothing with what I put on my face besides this mascara. Foundation, eye primer, skincare, everything was the same as it's always been. There's something in this mascara I had an allergic reaction to which I've never experienced before from a makeup product. If you're sensitive to cosmetics, I'd advise skipping this one. My face is still recovering after not using it for over a week. I just can't recommend something like this.
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 eyeliner in Demolition
hahalex21 11/16/2012 10:55:00 AM
I absolutely love the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils, they are without a doubt my favorite. The color Demolition is a very nice dark matte brown that is cool toned, so it's very wearable. I always wear eyeliner on my waterline and this is my go-to color when I don't know what else to use. With a few coats it stays put pretty well. I love how soft it is, but it's kind of a disadvantage because it makes sharpening it really difficult. The tip will break off or crumble oftentimes, but I don't use it for fine detail work so it's not a big deal to me. I highly recommend this product, it's just great.
Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - The Porefessional
hahalex21 11/15/2012 4:18:00 PM
I got this in a kit of BeneFit's bestselling products, and since I have larger pores around my nose area I figured I'd try it. It honestly didn't do a thing for me. I didn't notice any difference with my pores and it made my foundation slide around and look ridiculous. It's pretty oily feeling and if I weren't on Accutane I know it'd break me out. I gave the packaging quality a lower rating because the opening was blocked or something and squirted out all over the place when I tried to get the product out. Overall I don't recommend this product, it's pretty useless.
Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer - Natural
hahalex21 10/26/2012 6:51:00 PM
When I saw this product at Walgreens for the price, I had to have it. I'm on Accutane at the moment and my skin can never get enough moisturizer. In my opinion, this product is better than NARS TM. When applied with your fingers, it's more moisturizing and has better coverage. Unfortunately, it is very shiny, almost greasy looking, and it does need to be set with powder. I use MAC Studio Fix powder lightly all over my face and it looks great. No, it isn't water-resistant, but it doesn't claim to be. Good for use in winter when skin is driest. For dry skinned girls not needing a whole lot of help with their skin, this is a great option. Oily skinned girls, this is definitely not for you. EDIT: After using this product a couple times, I actually started to notice how bad it oxidizes. The color Beige looked perfect when I swatched it on my hand before I bought it, but after putting it on my face I noticed that it turned more orange than before. I can't believe I didn't notice it before, but it's there. And even putting my perfect match powder over top doesn't help. It's a good product, but beware of it oxidizing. Won't repurchase.
Tinted Moisturizer -NARS - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
hahalex21 8/16/2012 6:18:00 PM
The first thing I have to comment on is the color selection. Every color runs pretty yellow or orange. I use the color Finland, which they say has pink undertones, but it had none that I could see, it was pretty yellow. Which is okay for me since my face is more red than the rest of my body and yellow based foundations help me balance that out, but pale redheads with pink skin need to steer clear of any Nars foundations. With that said, I do like this product. It isn't as moisturizing as I'd have liked, which my skin needs due to the meds I'm on and it being extremely dry, but it's better than a regular foundation for me. When I apply it with my fingers, I get the sheerest coverage but the best results. This product doesn't highlight my skin's current dryness, unless I apply it with a brush, and it helps minimize my pores, strangely enough. It makes my skin feel soft and velvety, but if it were used on someone with oilier skin it wouldn't last too long. I'd recommend this product for drier skinned girls, but oily skins should steer clear.
This is an edited review. When I first tried this foundation, I was on Accutane and my skin was drier than dry. No foundation looked good on it. Now that my skin is more normal, I tried it again and I'm giving it a better review. I like that when I wear it, I feel like I have nothing on my skin, it's very lightweight. The coverage is medium and lightly buildable. I originally said it has a dewy finish, which is not true, it's almost a satin finish, not quite matte but definitely not dewy. It is definitely for an oilier skin. Even normal skin types might find this too dry, but super oily gals won't like this. It didn't last all day for me, after about six hours it started fading off. UD claims that it looks like skin, and for the most part it does, so I'm giving it a good review for that. If used by the right skin type, this is a nice foundation, just not for me.
I bought this mascara after watching Sam from Pixiwoo rave about it and I wanted to get my lashes to grow a bit. I don't think it does that at all, but it does help volumize quite a bit. Yes, the brush is big, which means it's prone to clumping but you get some big lashes. My biggest complaint with it is the flaking. I've never had a problem with mascaras flaking before and this one is awful. Even if didn't use black eyeshadow, it looks like I have a ton of fallout. And like other reviewers have said, it is ridiculous to remove. I use the regular formula but it feels like the waterproof one when I'm trying to get it off. I give it two lippies because it does volumize your lashes pretty well but I'd never buy this product or recommend it to anyone. It's just not worth it.
The color of this eyeshadow is just beautiful, I love the green/bronze/silver mix of colors going on. I'm an N3 with hazel/blue eyes and this color looks amazing. The lasting power isn't too long, but I have oily lids and was expecting that. I won't repurchase because I don't think I'll need to! The pan is pretty large and I don't think I'll ever run out!
