LOVE this foundation! Pros: Amazing (true to the name), natural coverage Looks like *my* skin, very fresh Feels like I'm not wearing foundation Cute bottle Easy to find at my local Ulta & Sephora Holds up all day and maintains finish - never looks splotchy or cakey on my skin Makes my complexion look perfect Cons: No pump Light to medium coverage - definitely not for anyone looking for a full coverage foundation Color selection - limited I really have tried them all - high end to drugstore and so far this is my absolute favorite of all as an everyday into special occasion foundation. This is the first Too Faced product I've tried but when a friend raved about it I thought I would give it a go. I apply it with my fingers and over a primer (currently Hard Candy) but I think a brush would work as well. Even though my almost-40 skin has larger pores in areas and some wrinkles, this foundation made my skin look flawless, youthful, and natural. This is definitely not the foundation for you if you want a really "made-up" look or need to cover a lot of redness, pimples, or scarring. I bought it in warm vanilla but it is just a tad too dark for my pale, wintertime skin. I may purchase the vanilla creme as well to mix and get a better match.

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - Tomas Tan Perfect Self-Tanning Lotion
rated 5 of 5

After trying dozens of self-tanning products, I've found my favorite with Tomas Tan Perfect Self Tanning Lotion. The product is available through Sally Beauty Supply stores or on their website for $12-13 for a 5oz bottle. The lotion is quite liquidy but I find application to be very easy. After applying a moisturizing lotion to my feet, hands, knees, and elbows, I put on gloves and rub until the product soaks into my skin. I avoid areas like my feet and hands and use a kabuki brush to buff product into the areas. This avoids concentrated areas. It is best to apply the product at night and sleep with it on to give the self-tanner time to work. Because there is a bronzing colorant in the product, I recommend sleeping on an old sheet or you *will* have transfer onto your bedding. In the morning, the bronze colorant will wash off in the shower but you will still be left with a lovely, golden bronze (NO ORANGE) tan. The color is closest to the St. Tropez product that I've used in the past but the price is much more affordable! I find that with my fair skin, one application every 5 days gives me a healthy glow. More applications gives me a natural, been-at-the-beach-every-day look. I do apply to my face as well and have not had any issue with breakouts. Also comes in a spray for $15. Haven't tried it yet but hope to soon as it would likely be great for hard to reach areas like the back.
