Foundations -Eve Pearl - High Definition Dual Foundation with CosmeNutrients

I am nw15 and ordered fair. The lightest color was actually light enough but neutral toned and I do have a slight pink tone so it was not a perfect match. The product is very creamy and blends well. What I like best about this foundation is that it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all which is fantastic because every other foundation I have tried at least makes the skin around my nose itch a tiny bit. This feels extremely lightweight on the skin and has buildable coverage. This would be a very good foundation for me except for two big cons: the price is very high for the small amount of product you get and it accentuated any areas of dryness or uneven texture on my skin. I do exfoliate daily and moisturize well but somehow I still always end up with tiny dry flakes that I cannot see until I put on makeup and unfortunately this foundation showed all of them. Also this is a very dewy finish foundation, it does not feel heavy or oily at all but leaves a moist finish which feels nice on my dry skin but also seems to emphasize all my pores/fine lines. I feel like a slightly more matte finish is kinder to skin texture issues. I will be returning this product along with the salmon concealer which I had the same issues with (look at the ingredients, it is exactly the same formula in a salmon color and is even more expensive per gram than the foundation).
Conditioner -Nexxus - Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Leave-In Spray

Great leave in detangler/conditioner. Leaves my hair (dry ends, fine but lots of hair) feeling silky smooth, soft and not weighed down. Packaging is nice and compact and sprays an even mist. I often reach for this over my previous love, moroccanoil. Love it!
This may be the best conditoner I have ever tried. Moisturizes my dry fine hair and does not weigh it down! Got rid of my static also. Love this. Joico has recently reformulated their line so I really hope this product hasn't changed.
This is a great daily shampoo for me (fine hair but a lot of it and dry ends, oily roots). When my redken clear moisture shampoo got reformulated and left my hair a dry staticy nightmare I went looking for a new one. I originally tried Joico moisture recovery shampoo and conditioner but felt that was a little heavy so I tried the daily care balancing shampoo and it is perfect. I love pairing it with the intense hydrator (only ears down) this winter since my ends are parched. This combination leaves me with soft moisturized hair that is not staticy and also not weighed down! This line is now being reformulated so I hope they don't change this one...
Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dazzled

I saw this blush in sephora and loved the color but was put off by the obvious gold shimmer. I am not a fan of shimmery blushes for the most part but I decided to give this one a try anyway. I am very pleased to say that once I apply and blend this blush in I don't see any of the gold shimmer on my face at all, just a lovely soft rose satin finish blush that I really love. This looks very natural on my nw15 skin and is close to the color I naturally flush but better. If exposed didn't work on you (it made me look sunburned) try this! Love this one, would definitely repurchase. EDIT 2/6/13: Still loving this. I was swatching some of my other blushes next to this and noticed The Perfect Cheek by MAC is very similar to dazzled. It does not have shimmer (on my face dazzled doesn't either) but has a drier texture that doesn't blend as well as tarte dazzled. If you missed the perfect cheek definitely give dazzled a try, they are nearly identical and dazzled has a nicer texture and lasts longer on me.
This is my go to everyday mascara. The thing I love most about it is that is the first mascara that does not irritate my sensitive eyes! It gives nice volume to my lashes which is what I look for most in a mascara since my lashes are somewhat long and have a natural curl. I also love that a tube lasts longer than average before drying out so I can definitely justify paying a little more than the typical drugstore mascara which dries out a couple weeks after opening. I have repurchased at least five times and will continue to do so.
Liquid -Shiseido - Sun Protection Liquid Foundation SPF 42 PA+++

I really wanted to like this foundation, unfortunately it was not the best on my slightly dry skin. While it did provide a lovely natural matte finish, it also clung to a few dry areas and acccentuated them slightly. It has a very liquidy texture which blends well on the skin and provides very good medium to full coverage. It also has the added bonus of a high, physical sunblock which would be perfect for summer as long as you are not planning to have photos taken. I got the lightest shade, sp10, and it was too dark and orange toned for me. For reference, the best shade match I have found is MUFE HD 110 pink porcelain or l'oreal true match c1. I think this would work well for ladies with normal to oily skin.
loved this too...too bad they discontinued it. If anyone finds a good replacement please let me know!
Don't even think about trying this if you have sensitive skin. About 30 seconds after I put this on my face my skin started to burn and turned bright red. Of course I washed it off immediately but my skin looked and felt as if I had a BAD sunburn for over an hour. BEWARE

I love the color! So beautiful and it really compliments my coloring (fair skin, blue eyes). I got this as part of the holiday cheek and eye pallet in cool. Edit: I don't wear this as much as I thought I would. My eyes are very sensitive so I tend to use cream eyeshadow which do not bother my eyes like powder shadows do. So I will not repurchase
Eye Shadow -Prescriptives - Colorscope Creamy Eye Color in Smoking Gun

I wanted to love this. But the gold glitter ruined it for me. It's a nice color and lasts on the lid. But an hour after I applied it I looked in the mirror and I had gold glitter all over my face. I would love this without the glitter.
I bought this because I wanted to try liquid eyeliner and this was cheap and accessible. It went on fine, the color was a nice dark black. But shortly after applying it began feeling absolutely horrible on my skin. Like a dry, itchy sensation that was unbearable, I had to wash it off. I guess you get what you pay for. NOT for sensitive eyes/skin!
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in R.S.V.P.

Ok, first of all I think the color is really pretty. However, I did not get enough color pay off, just a lot of shimmer which is not the effect I was hoping for. The formula seemed dry and hard to blend to top it off. So overall I was really disappointed in this product and will return it.
Shampoo -Paula's Choice - All Over Hair & Body Shampoo
gvgirl 8/29/2009 10:44:00 AM
I love the idea of this product, being fragrance free and a dual purpose product. The biggest thing I don't like about the shampoo is that it makes my hair very tangly while shampooing and even after conditioning it is difficult to get the tangles out even using a detangling comb in the shower with conditioner in my hair. And because it is tangling my hair, it causes breakage when I try to comb it out. I don't think it does much for moisturizing or volumizing either. My hair does not seem quite as clean or full of body when I use this compared to other shampoos. Bummer.

I LOVE this stuff. This is so simple to apply and foolproof. It is a great color and dries right away. No creasing and it lasts all day no problem. I have already repurchased several times and will continue to do so!
