Eyeliner -NYX - The Curve Felt Tip Eye Liner

After fussing with gel eyeliner and liner brushes, I think I'm making a permanent switch to Nyx's Curve eyeliner. The felt tip and shape make this super easy to apply; the consistency of the eyeliner is smooth and easy to correct. I've had very little smudging, even after a long day. I like the shape of the applicator, even though it doesn't quite fit in my palm like the packaging shows! It's still easier to control than an angled brush. The price is a bit high, and hopefully the eyeliner will last long enough to make it worth it--but if you get it at Ulta with one of their weekly coupons it does make it worth it. Absolutely no complaints.

Polishes -Essie - Tart Deco

Love, love this color. Orangey-color. However, it was my experience that this is a terrible nail polish. I thought Essie was a good brand! And certainly, for the price I was extremely disappointed in this polish. It was thick and goopy, and impossible to apply. You can see in many pictures of this polish that it creates an unusually thick layer of polish over the nail, rather than gliding on. I'm sticking to OPI at this price range!

Lipstick -NYX - NYX Matte Lipstick

I got a NYX matte lipstick in Hippie Chic, and I was very disappointed. It was chalky, although the color was a nice warm pink. I can't even wear it by itself because it cakes so badly.

Lips -NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp

This lip cream is very silky and has a light french vanilla scent. It's also really pigmented, and when it dries it doesn't feel like you're even wearing lip color! It's very pigmented, a red-orange (almost coral) color. Love the cute packaging, and a great smaller size to carry around.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Soft and Smooth Lipcolor in Heavenly Mauve

Love, love, love the Colorstay Soft and Smooth lipsticks. Most of the stores where I buy makeup seem to not be restocking them, I'm afraid they are being discontinued! The formula is creamy and smells just a bit like french vanilla. The color lasts for a notably long time. Just a warning, the lipsticks are generally several shades DARKER than what in the tube looks like...personal experience! Heavenly Mauve is a very nice mauve, a bit dark with just a bit of sparkle.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick in Sky Pink

I love the Revlon Matte lipsticks, but this is my least favorite. It is a pale pink, with just a touch of blue, but it definitely clumps/cracks much easier than the other matte lipstick's I've gotten.

Definitely in love with the Revlon matte lipsticks, a nice change from sparkly lip products (although if sparkly is your thing, they look great with lipgloss over them too). Like others have said, the lipstick is super smooth, doesn't smell or taste bad (or at all, really), and the staying power is decent. Pink About It seems to be a midtone between the Pink Pout and Strawberry Suede. There's a slightly orange tone too. Overall I think it's a very pretty spring/summery color, definitely something different.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Gentle Lip Conditioner

Very cute packaging, seems sturdy enough to be bounced around in my purse without opening or spilling. The twist mechanism is kind of clumsy. I have this this Soft Petal, which is pale pink but mostly sheer with a little glitter. It does feel a bit gritty on my lips, but not sticky at all. Staying quality is nothing out of the ordinary, but not terrible. For such a tiny bottle, and the dispenser is pretty wasteful too, I think the price is a bit high. I would but this again if it was on sale though!
