Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer in Queen Phyllis

This is a very pretty color! It definitely is a champagne shimmer as other reviewers have noted. The color is understated but manages to really brighten up your eye. I usually wear this as a base with other shadows on top, but if I'm in a rush, I use just this and gives my eyes a nice pop. Love it!
Moisturizers -La Prairie - Advanced Marine Biology Night Solution

This is a GREAT night time moisturizer. I have combination skin prone to breakouts, so I'm always very careful about what I put on my face. Anything too creamy/ heavy will break me out and leave me with ugly milia. I tried this product when the saleslady gave it to me as a sample a few years ago, and since then, I've never looked back. It is a lightweight moisturizer that evens out your skin tone while getting rid of redness and blotchiness. My face always looks so dewy and fresh in the mornings. Those with extremely dry skin may want to put another lotion on top of this, but for me, using this by itself is more than enough moisture. It's my favorite product by far!
Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Sepia Ink Long Wear Gel Liner

This is a GREAT eyeliner. I've been using this for the past few years and I can't imagine going back to traditional pencil liners. With the gel liner, I can create a more natural looking line around my eyes, and this color is a perfect mix of black and brown. On nights when i want to go for a more dramatic look, I line my eyes a bit thicker and it looks great. It's a really versatile product and the best thing is that it stays on my eyes all day without smudging. Love it!
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent

I absolutely love this eye makeup remover!! It very effectively removes makeup from the eyes without irritating it. The non-oily, watery consistency is a plus since it doesn't leave a greasy residue on my eyes when I use it. I also use this when I'm correcting or touching up my makeup; dab some on a q-tip and gently remove makeup without having to take the whole thing off. I've used a lot of other eye makeup removers, but none beats this. It's worth every penny.
Moisturizers -Clarins - Bright Plus Hydrating Brightening Lotion SPF 20
greengirl110 8/1/2008 8:13:00 PM
This is my favorite day moisturizer. It is an oil-free lotion that also has an spf 20, which is a perfect combination for someone like me who has fair, combination skin. With this lotion, I don't have to put on sunscreen separately in the mornings, and I also feel that I don't have to worry about looking oily by early afternoon. (Just a few blots with oil blotting paper early evening controls any excess oil from my T zones.) It also acts as a great primer for my mineral makeup; a few strokes of the brush on the face after applying the lotion and my skin really looks flawless. With other moisturizers I often get that "cakey" look, but this lotion is light enough that I can acheive a more natural look. The brightening effects of this lotion is more subtle, but you will definitely notice it after a few weeks. Redness is diminished, along with any ruddiness or discoloration on the face. Will definitely continue to purchase!
Moisturizers -Shiseido - ELIXIR - lifting emulsion II

This is my favorite moisturizer for the night. Just a little bit goes a long way in moisturizing my face. I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts if I apply anything that is too heavy, but this emulsion is perfect. It's light enough that it doesn't make me oily but moisturizing enough that my face feels great, even in the winter months. Great product!
I've been using this cleanser for about a month now, and I think it is ok. It is very mild/ gentle and doesn't dry out my face like a lot of other cleansers that are made for combination to oily skin. It hasn't made me break out either and my skin has been looking pretty good. I feel that this is a decent cleanser, but there is nothing really special about it. One thing I don't particularly like is the slippery, greasy feeling I get when I wash my face with it; I prefer cleansers that give you that "squeaky clean" feeling when you're rinsing with water. And as other reviewers have noted, the packaging is a tiny bit inconvenient. (For instance, when I bring this into the shower with me, it IS a bit of a hassle to unscrew the cap, pour some gel onto my hand, and put the cap back on.) All in all, I don't have any complaints about this cleanser, but nothing remarkable to say about it either. I am willing to repurchase until I find something better.
I have been using this toner for a few years now and I must say that this is the one I keep coming back to. It does a great job of getting rid of the extra makeup your cleanser missed while leaving the skin soft and glowing. I have very fair, sensitive, combination skin that has a tendency to break into tiny bumps/ pimples, but this toner was gentle enough for me to use. I use this all year round, and even in the summer months, it doesn't make me break out or get oily. I hate toners that try to control oil by stripping your face of moisture, and on the flipside, I dislike ones that provide "too much" moisture, causing my face to break out. Like anything, I think a good toner is all about balance, and this one does it for me. Price could be a bit on the expensive side, but I'm a firm believer that anything that goes on my face should be of the best quality. If it works, then I am willing to pay for it! The bottle also lasts a long time, so I feel it's worth it!
