this is a very very light moisturizer for someone with perhaps very oily skin. i found it to be soothing and non irritating, although it didn't seem to moisturize to the degree that i need. i don't fault the product for this as i have combination-dry skin and would recommend this to those who have combo-oily skin. i have since switched moisturizers but would come back to this one on very hot summer days.
well this candle is a crisp, refreshing spring day..clean and fruity. i wish the packaging was more memorable, but i will purchase this again for it's nice nice scent..has good throw and i usually burn it in my room and can smell it in the living room of my condo..love..
i was recommended this product for use on my hands actually as i was suffering from a bit of contact dermatitis..well, i was expecting good things, but it wasn't as effective as i was hoping for. and it kind of smelled like old perfume. although i'm sure it's good on your feet, it just seems average to me..not sure if i'll buy it again..
well this isn't a bad foundation, like it didn't make me break out but i couldn't find a good color match. the closest color was too pink for my skin and although it wasn't apparent immediately, after a few hours or in the sun, it just didn't look natural...
Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! anyhow it's my favorite eyeliner in the whole world and is a complete staple. i find it to be very resistant to smudging and the pigmentation is fabulous. it's easy to apply once you get the hang of using the brush- and i recommend the fine eyeliner brush from bobbi brown as well as the bristles are stiff enough to give a precise line and it's super easy to use..
well i personally like this product quite a bit..i've never gotten so many comments or questions from any other eyeliner..people are always complimenting my eyes when i wear this, and asking what it is and where they can buy it. i find it better than tony and tina's simply because it seems to smudge less and the latter cannot be sharpened without breaking! anyhow, i guess not everyone can or would want to wear this, but for me it definately works.
i've discontinued using everything else from the proactiv line because it just didn't work for my skin. I love this toner though..it's alcohol free and has glycolic acid in it and i like that. it's quite gentle and i keep coming back to this.
so at my breaking point (the point where you're willling to try ANYTHING) i decided to give this a try. i wasn't expecting much as i had put my hope into so many other things that just didn't help..but i'm happy to say that this is something that is sooo cheap and yet soo effective. i have acne prone skin and although it's oily in some places it's also dry in others. this seemed to just even everything out and make my skin soft, normal and calm. there was no irritation or redness and best of all...NO ZITS!! i love it, love it and i love all you mua girls for all these little gems!
Skincare - Face -MD Formulations - Illuminating Serum
grasshopper 3/12/2004 1:53:00 AM
at first i really liked this..it evened out my skin tone and it just made me look all glowy..but now, it's like i've reached a plateau..it didn't get rid of pigmentation, but it's a good product if you just want to even everything out. it's quite expensive and the pump becomes ineffective after awhile..
Skincare - Face -MD Formulations - Antioxidant Hydrating Serum

well this doesn't break me out (yay!)..it's a light moisturizer which sinks in quickly. it's perfect for combination skin which needs a bit of hydration. the only thing i didn't like about it was the fact that it's a little pricey for the amount of product you get. nevertheless, i do like it..
well, i know these clarifying lotions are associated with much controversy, but after asking my friend what toner she used (she has the most beautiful, flawless skin) i decided to give this a try. it really turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I was skeptical because i used to use #2 which i totally reacted to (could be the menthol)..well, this one made my skin smoother and clearer. for me it really works! and i have sensitive, acne prone skin.
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]

I have short, straight asian lashes, and have tried sooo many mascaras in hopes that they would plump them up.. well, I think I've finally found a product that does so and it's this! It totally plumped up my lashes and with mascara on top I can hardly believe the difference!
Primer/ Corrector -Shiseido - The Makeup Brightening Veil SPF 24
grasshopper 6/9/2003 3:23:00 AM
I was a little skeptical of this at first because of how it looked when I tried it on my hand, but seriously, you have to try this on your face..The first day that I wore it, my best friend commented on how my skin looked so much better. It really brightens, and I love that it has spf..(although I always wear and spf anyways). It hasn't broken me out at all and I love that!
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Well, I liked this much better than the oil-free foundation, simply because it's much easier to apply. It goes on with a light coverage, not too sheer. The only thing I question is staying power. I felt like at the beginning of my day it was wonderful, but at dinner time, it had all but disappeared. That's why I'm giving it 4 and not 5.
Liquid -Laura Mercier - Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation

this foundation has superior color matches, however I found it to be difficult to apply. With fingers, you have to work extremely quickly because it dries fast. Application is best with a damp sponge, but for me, this isn't always convenient or quick. It's an ok foundation overall, and I might return to it one day when I have more time in the morning to do my makeup.
