Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Lipstick in Candy

I'm a cool-tone blue-eyed blonde, and as expected, this color works on me. I didn't expect to like it - it's so pink - but it's such a fun, unexpected shock. Candy works best in the summer with a bit of a tan, and when bright colors are more expected. Typically I only wear it out when going out for drinks with friends - it tends to be a bit much for day wear in public. This color is perfect for places where your everyday lipstick would be lost in the dark. But that doesn't stop me from swipping it across my lips at random times when I'm stuck at home and want a fun pop of color that will be gone in a couple hours.
I love this stuff! It comes in a big clump in a plastic tub. You take a pea-sized amount into your palm, mix with a little water, smooth onto your skin and buff away. Fun to use if only for the novelty. My skin always looks amazing when I use it - soft, glowing, more even in tone. A big order for a simple cleanser but I swear it works. And no chemical-laden cleanser can ever smell half as wonderful as AOBS. LUSH is pretty awesome about giving out samples of their facial treatments, so if you live near a store it's worth checking out.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Exotic Nectars Tahitian Vanilla Flower

Looking at the notes listed on the VS site, you wouldn't expect the scent you get from this bottle: Top notes: sweet orange, pitahaya fruit Middle notes: Tahitian vanilla flower, tuberose Low notes: black coconut, santal, tonka bean But the whole thing comes off as a musky, dirty vanilla - it's fabulously sexy. Sweet, but not something I'd call over the top. I'm someone who favors amber-vanilla based scents, though, so it's really all a matter of taste. And as for perceived patchouli by another reviewer? No, not so much. Musk, yes. Patchouli, no. Again, this is a slightly dirty scent. Some will find it a bit hippie-ish, but I think that's half the charm.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Insatiable Caramel Kiss

Love this scent! Warm, creamy, and absolutely perfect for a cold winter morning. Too bad that it's a seasonal item - but that also means that the last bottles are on clearance right now. I'd recommend the cleaser over the lotion, if only because then there are no worries about the odd drydown that some dislike.
Beautiful, clean scent. Wears well in warm weather, unlike many perfumes. It's my current daytime work scent- Pure White Linen isn't the type of scent that will crowd a small space and squeeze out all the air, you have to be close to smell it. Maybe that's why my guy likes it so much...
Cleansers -Biore - Warming Deep Pore Cream Cleanser

Oddly enough, this is about the only cleanser I've tried that hasn't caused my skin to start drying and flaking, then breaking out as it frantically tries to produce more oil. It could be because this isn't a foaming cleanser, or because there seem to be very fine clay grains in the goop that exfoliate enough to render regular exfoliation unneccessary.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Full Colour Eye Definer - Pine 231

I love this thing. It's the perfect alternative color- not too loud, but unusual enough to make a statement. I've found that it's great to pair with a light gold or rosey pink eyeshadow to bring out dark blue eyes. Sure, there is a built-in sharpener, but unless you're lining your lower lashes I don't see why you would use it. My only problem with the product is that the only place around here you can find it is at Walmart- but I'm willing to pay a couple bucks shipping and handling to buy it online.
