Concealers -Boots - No7 - Instant Radiance Concealer

Usually I buy Lancome's equivalent or YSL or Clinique but wanting to economise I thought I'd try No7's version. I wish I had not. What a waste of money this product does not compare to the other more pricey brands' version. It gives no coverage as the liquid that comes out of the pen is just too thin to give any coverage to undereye circles and I do not find it to radiate any light. I have also tried using it as I previously used my lancome equivalent, to hide small blemishes however once again it goes on and simply disappears into the skin as the coverage is just minimal and therefore this is the worst light reflecting concealer I have ever used. Do not waste your money on this.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Superliner Perfect Slim Intense black

I dont usually use pen liners as I find it hard to control the line and easy to make a mess but this pen makes it super easy to do a slim neat line which holds well. You can draw over it and make it thicker if you want a more defined fatter line. It's cheap enough too, I can see why this gets such rave reviews! I just wished they had it in more different colours, like brown, a slate grey etc. I bought this at the superdrug for £6.99
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Dr Organic Manuka Honey Body Butter

This is my HG body butter when in the UK. I use it all year long to moisturize my body and hands. It smells delicious of honey, it claims to have bioactive manuka honey in it and other wonderful 100% organic ingredients which are listed as follows: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Ricinoleate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Myristyl Myristate, Glycerin, Isocetyl Palmitate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Honey Extract (Manuka Extract), Glyceryl Caprylate, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Aroma, Sodium Phytate, Citric Acid. I find it absorbs really fast and is non-messy to use plus it feels lovely on. It does really hydrate my skin well.
I have this in hazel and mimosa and I love them both, they can be worn layered together or solo. I have big lips and find many lipsticks to look OTT on me whereas these look so natural on and very stunning! Love the way they look like crayons too. Very cute concept.

I really love this stuff! I have had some scars from weird shingles outbreaks on my cheeks that I was unable to get rid of for over 1 year. Since I have been applying this to my face daily, either as a mask or mixed into my regular cream, those marks have been disappearing and in fact my skin tone has really evened out. I have combo skin and find this does not break me out at all. It does feel a bit tight and I find you have to really rub it in well to avoid this effect being too much alternatively use it as a mask. The seakelp comes with some little samples to mix in, I dont like the fragrances that seem artificial but find the anti-ox mix also works really well. As I said, it can appear to be a bit drying but then again this is good for my sometimes oily skin and I find it helps dry up small spots too. You can easily combat any feeling of dryness by mixing the seakelp in with a good moisturiser or oil. My only small gripe is I wish this came in a pump container, I find dipping my fingers into it is not quite so hygienic but then again it's not caused any problems so far. If you want to get rid of marks or just even out a bumpy skin tone this is definitely worth trying. I think I'll be using this for a long time as the good results seem to be lasting! La Mer overpriced creams are made with this ingredient considering the price of Skinactives, I think it's a zillion times better!

I wish this was not so expensive however it is a wonder, miracle worker. My always dry flakey lips became smooth, beauties after one treatment. The lovely lady at the Sephora, treated me with this prior to me trying out a lippie and I was sold, even she was amazed at how great my chapped lips looked after one treatment. If you suffer from constantly dry, flaking lips this is for you!
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Sea sponge tampon

In North America you can get this from Jade and Pearl, in the UK from Jam Sponge. I got mine from the latter. Reusable sanitary products are the best! They are cheap, effective, good for the environment and save you loads of money! I love my sea sponge tampon. Easy to use and cheap! After hearing that women throw away over 12 million sanitary products a year many of which do not biodegrade and become part of the many miles long garbage patch in the pacific ocean, I have decided to use reusable sanitary products and guess what I'm going to save thousand of dollars/pounds/euros/etc. I tried using the moon cup also known as diva cup but found it painful, leaky and awkward to get in and out. I find the sea sponge tampon easier, apparently women have been using sponges for thousand of years for their moon cycle. Details: putting the tampon in is easy as long as you dont mind touching yourself, you just wet the sponge slightly and using your finger or an applicator you just slide it up inside. Once it is ready to be changed it generally drops down a bit, you just find it with your finger (which is very easy) take it out, rinse it under water and then you can reinsert. If you are in a place you cannot do that, J and P or Jamsponge both give you two tampons and you can just slip a new one in (make sure it is wet). I find the sea sponge very comfortable to wear, I dont even notice it is there. I absorbs well, and it is not gross to wash out, when I take it out it is not all bloody as I imagined but just a touch pink, even on a heavy flow day. There are different sizes for different flows, I like to use maxi on heavy days and then smaller as my flow gets lighter. Great product which will save you loads of money and also save throwing away loads of garbage into the environment! Ten out of ten!

Sea sponges are the best, I use one on my face and on my body and they are so soft but slightly exfoliating. So much better than synthetic ones, cotton flannels or any other mode of cleaning my face. I really recommend sea sponges, also jam sponges aka pearl sponges can be used instead of tampons! Sponges are the best!!!
This does have a lot of chemicals in it but it scrubs really well, gently but effectively. Good product and cheaper than the Avene scrub which I find is a lot more irritating even though its supposed to be for sensitive skin, also less irritating than the St Ives.
I love this palette as does my friend who I also bought a palette for, for Xmas. You can create any number of looks from neutral day look to smokey night look. I am surprised so many have made negative comments on the base note, I love the base note, it is light shimmery, neutral, you just need to pack some onto the applicator that comes in the set, often if I want a very plain but sexy look I apply it all over and just use the orangey colour on the crease. So the next colour is a bright orange colour but which looks very elegant on and can be tempered by mixing with the base. There is also a reddish-organish dark brown that has beautiful dimension to it, gold and red sheens. Also you get a dark brown eye liner that stays well put if you use a primer. Finally there are some gorgeous golden orange sparkles that illuminate the look and can indeed be used on any eye shadow you have, a great look is to apply very dark shadow and then put the orange sparkles on top as it gives light and dimension. I love the 5 colours designer set in all the colours it comes in, but this is my favourite for daily wear because it is so versatile and also very neutral. The grey, green and navy palette are also beautiful but more for night time wear. I have not tried the pink. I recommend this palette if you like to wear cream, orange and brown colours. It looks great on green, brown, hazel and I am sure also blue eyes.
I love all the 5 colours designer, this one is beautiful if you want a lovely green palette. You get a base whitish green for highlight, a very pale shimmery green, a dark green for contouring, a very dark green eyeliner and green with other reflects sparkles to add dimension. The sparkles do have a bit of drop out but it is kept minimal if you use a good eye shadow primer. Overall this is a highly portable, beautiful set of greens, the price as usual with Dior is OTT but still this is a well made set.
Eye Shadow -Lancome - La Poudre aux Yeux Loose Eye Powder

HG! Great little pots of colour, great iridescent coverage. Had this one in 06 which is a light turquoise with purple, yellow and pink reflects to it for years and because of the great packaging (much better than bare escentuals packaging) the eye shadow has lasted for ages without ever spilling. LOVE

Best lip balm I ever owned! LOVE
This is a bit too dark for my pale skin. I think it would only work if you are naturally tanned or have a tan. I do not recommend it to pale ladies. Additionally every time I use this it irritates my skin and makes me break out in little bumps where it has been in contact with my skin.
