Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in R.S.V.P.

I got this for half the price during boxing day. I thought what a steal since I generally adore Benefit cosmetics. However, this was even worse than what I ever expected. I don't know if I just got a bad pot, but it was very very dry, there was no point to use a brush as it didn't even pick up any hint of the product. I had to smear my finger around it very hard to 'warm' it up, and when I finally was able to get the product on my eyelid, it didn't even blend. I had a huge chunks of the product on my eyelid and no matter how much i rubbed with my fingers, it just stayed stuck..

I love ginger, but this stuff smells medicated. Not a pleasant scent.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Cha Cha Tint

When I first purchased this, I hardly used it as I hated how it stained my fingers to apply. But then I saw a video on Sephora's website showing how they used a small flat foundation brush to do so and it's sooooo much better! I put a drop of the cha cha tint across the flat brush then tap it in along my cheeks (starting near the temples first then downward so that the colour isn't all concentrated in the middle). Great colour on tanned skin for the summer!

Polishes -Essie - Sew Psyched

this colour is pretty in the bottle but i hate the fact it dries to a plain dark green on the nail, making it look like a generic green polish. It applies smooth but i hardly reach for this colour and regret the purchase.

This is one my favourite polishes from Essie.. yeah the streaking is bad on the first coat but gets covered well with a second. I absolutely adore the shade, beige with a pink tint.

Crème -BeneFit Cosmetics - Some Kind-A Gorgeous

i bought a mini version of it and oh my i am in love!! it's definitely not your typical foundation because the product goes on clear so you may attempt to pile more on but stop right there! because once it dries the foundation colour pops through and it'll give your face a nice even finish. put too much on and your face will end up looking very powdery. this stuff is great since i hate wearing anything heavy on my face.. however i do agree with others the colour range is not that great. it does dry darker later on in the day.

Polishes -Essie - Van d'Go

i find with a lot of essie polishes, they dry darker in colour than the bottle. the colour in the bottle is what attracted me to purchase, but once applied it goes darker and is very bold, almost neon looking. i regret the purchase as i bought it right before the navigate her collection came out with a peach colour that i was looking for.

This is an ok mascara, great for lengthening, and A LOT better than bad gal in consideration with smudging.. but still smudges onto my bottom lids after a few hours (unlike a few minutes with bad gal)

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Sugarbomb
rated 5 of 5

This blush gives a great glow to the cheeks, and I actually prefer this over Nars Orgasm. I find I have to pile on Orgasm to get the same effect but then looks too powdery on the cheeks. With Sugarbomb the colour is subtle but looks more natural.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Lillium

This is fabulous on the cheeks and take note that a little goes a long way. I made the mistake of swiping a sponge applicator and the colour applied too heavy as a result. I will just dab with my fingers next time. my gripe about it is it does fade after an hour or so.

i find it a bit chalky, but the colour is quite pretty as long as i don't layer it on too heavy.

although it's a pretty colour, the colour fades instantly after application, just leaving behind the glitter.... i think this is suited for teens or younger

Polishes -Essie - Lady Like

This is a really pretty mauve colour, however I think this would look prettier on fairer skin to bring out the pink as it dries to a dark fleshy beige after a day or so. Sort of reminds me of OPI's Tickle My Francey. No hassles with consistency and applies smooth, took 2 coats for a solid look.

Moisturizers -Nivea - Pure and Natural Moisturizing Day Cream
rated 2 of 5
grace11103 10/17/2011 3:11:00 PM

Even though it states it's a day cream, I would use it for both day and night as it doesn't contain SPF and is heavy enough to use at night. But after 2 weeks use, I find this leaves my T zone very oily.. and thus breakout. I have stopped using it to prevent further breakouts. I have normal/combo skin and the package states it's geared for that skin type, however i would think it would be more suited for those with normal/dry skin types. Even with the fall season and cold weather, it leaves my skin looking oily. I also hate the smell, not sure why they would try to promote a natural product and give it a very chemical scent. The only pros about it is the texture, and that a little goes a long way.
