Eye Makeup Remover -Earth Science - Eye Makeup Remover

This is now, my favorite eye make up remover! I've never used a gel remover before and when I saw that this was a gel, I was skeptical, but I find that I really enjoy it! It is super gentle, I felt no irritation or stinging. It is efficient and effective too! I only use a little and it quickly removes all my make up, even when I've gone crazy with the eyeliner and mascara that day! So yay! I'm becoming a fan of Earth Science products!
Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure

I love Jojoba oil! It's good when you need a little extra moisture, and it's excellent for keeping your hair healthy! I've been adding it to my conditioner and my hair has been amazing! It's pretty amazing!
Styling Products -TRESemme - Simply no frizz spray gel

The bottle looks good, it smells good, but it doesn't do much good. I think that these types of products just don't work well. :(
One night I was heading out with my girlfriends when I realized that I didn't have a lipstick in my purse. One of my girlfriends handed it to me and it was love at first application! The color was beautiful, it stayed on all night, and it felt good on! I can't wait to buy this for myself! 04/12/13 I bought the lipstick and it works beautifully! Pretty color, and it stays on really well. However, I will not be purchasing this or any other MAC product again. Although MAC claims that they do not test on animals, it simply is not true. They may not test the products on animals, but they purchase their materials from companies who do. I simply cannot stand behind the testing and the deception to the general public.
I'm beginning to really like the loose powder! When I use it, I look like I'm not wearing any make up! Can't really ask for anything more! It's cheap, it works well, and its really light. Love it!
Awesome brush! Soft, durable, and works so well! I regret all those years without it. My foundation looks flawless every time I apply it with this brush!
Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Rosemary Mint Conditioner

My HG conditioner is the Shea Almond Butter one, but decided to give this a go, because I needed a new shampoo and this one came in a package. I brought it with me on my 2 week vacation, and on my second wash, I instantly regretted my move! This smells nice, and feels a little thicker than the other one, but it does not do the same thing for my hair! I came home with very dry hair, You couldn't pay me to use this again! It might work well for others, but for my dry hair, I'm avoiding this conditioner!
This was my first OPI purchase, and I really like it! I used a cheaper crackle polish and had such a fun time with it, that I decided to get this one, since I found it on sale. I generally have a really hard time spending more than $1 on polish. I've always been of the opinion that it is merely glorified paint, why on earth am I going to pay $8 bucks an ounce?! Though I still feel that way, I've realized that I can sometimes notice a significant difference in the more expensive ones, and here is one time that I did! The consistency is just amazing! The silver itself is beautiful, heavily sparkly! And the crackle effect looks great. I would recommend, to the people who've had poor results to give it another try. I found that it works best if you apply a thin coat, very quickly. Works great every time for me!
Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Professional Eye Liner Brush

I was experimenting when I bought this brush. I generally use a tightly packed angle brush to apply eye shadow as eye liner, but since this brush is designed specifically for the application of eye liner, I decided to make the $3 gamble. It's very soft, and nice and all, but it leaves a mess on my face! It sprinkles my face with eye shadow, and takes forever to apply the liner. I hope I'll find another usage for this but it doesn't do what it's designed to do. boo....
Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Rosemary Mint Shampoo
gpgroupie1 4/5/2012 7:39:00 PM
I liked the scent in the bottle more than when I was actually shampooing. It's not the worst shampoo, but I don't know if I'd buy it again. It doesn't strip my hair of moisture, it makes my hair feel cleaner than the Almond/Shea butter one, and it's super inexpensive. But "cleaner", doesn't really mean my head feels clean. I guess that means I'm still on the hunt for my HG shampoo....
Tinted Moisturizer -E.L.F. - Studio Tinted Moisturizer
gpgroupie1 4/5/2012 7:31:00 PM
I really enjoy this T.M. I've used one other, and hated the consistency. This one is actually quite nice. It's easy to apply, goes on smooth. Just by reading the description of the color, I was able to choose a great color match. I'm an Asian who tans well, so I purchased the "beige". The sun protection is a great bonus, my complexion is looking great, the price is dirt cheap, they don't test on animals! All in all, the more I use E.L.F. products, the more I am a fan of their cosmetics.
Top/Base Coats -New York Color - Extra Shiny Top Coat
gpgroupie1 4/5/2012 7:00:00 PM
It's sad that the majority of the reviews reflect my own personal opinion, but it is quite evident to me that not all top coats are created equally! I had no idea that top coats made such a big difference in the performance of nail polishes, but here I am, stunned that chunks of nail polish chips off my polish, sometimes hours after application! If it works well for you, go for it, I know there are a few redeeming qualities; it's dirt cheap, it has a nice consistency, it dries quickly. But that's it. I am so disappointed. It's not like I don't use NYC polishes, I do, I use them all the time. But I cannot get over how poorly this topcoat performs.
I'm a little sad that this stick got such poor reviews. In fact, I love the other colors as well! Mostly, I use them as eye shadow cream bases. The persimmon is PERFECT for my light pink shadows. Wearing cream bases under your shadows make your colors last much longer, and the colors pop! I use to buy the MAC bases, but you can't beat the $1 price tag on these sticks. The color is a little shear, so it doesn't contend with colors you're putting over it. It also works well as blushes, but make sure you're face is exfoliated and moisturized. They also work well under a clear lip gloss for just a subtle hint of color. Try them out in different ways, you may be surprised,
I use it sometimes because it's in my parent's shower. But I'm not very impressed with it. It doesn't leave my hair feeling very clean, but neither does it strip if of moisture. The scent is non offensive, it smells like every other Dove product. I'd use it in a pinch, but it's definitely nothing I'd go out and purchase myself.
Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Line Eyeshadow 'C' Brush

I have to admit, I didn't think I was going to like this one. I'm slightly skeptical of inexpensive brushes, I've never really had good luck with them. And the bristles looked too short and too tightly packed to blend well. After using it a few times, I love it! It feels like a high quality brush. And to the contrary, it is very easy to blend with. To make matters even better, it doesn't leave eye shadow residue where I don't want it. The bristles grip the colors well, and applies it with precision where I want it. I highly recommend this brush. It's quality and it's cheap. Doesn't get much better than that!
