Eyeliner -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Eyeliner in Indigo

Beautiful bottle, troublesome product. I agree with the other reviewers saying you have to redip the brush several times to get an opaque line -quite a hassle. I don't wear it often, b/c the time it takes to get it right, but I seem to recall that it flakes off mid-day. Not recommended. The only pros are the pretty bottle and the rich, dark blue color -that doesn't last.
Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Bombshell Bath Still Breathing

Silky black, with a red gleam. Reminds me of bats' eyes in a cave. Difficult to know what to pair it with, but a beautiful color!
There is only one Fyrinnae shadow I really, really dislike: Choco-cake Mix; it's chalky, crumbly, and not a terribly pretty color. Ultrasuede is the complete opposite: buttery smooth, **densely** pigmented, blendable, and gorgeous! It is a dark, cool brown that looks so amazing in the crease, outer vee, or smudged into the lash line. I imagine it would work beautifully for the gals who are always on the lookout for a brown brow shade that doesn't pull warm. This is a must-have basic from Fyr.
Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Loose Powder in Selkie Skin

I used to be a total taupe hoor. Any e/s with 'taupe' in its description? Into the cart it goes. I've spent major $$ and time tracking down and buying taupes. I had seen swatches of Selkie Skin floating around MUA, but Fyr d/ced this color before I had a chance to buy it; so, for months I scoured swap lists for it. Eventually I managed to get my hands on a sample of SS. It was gorgeous, but not quite up to the swatches.Apparently Fyr colors can vary pretty widely from batch to batch. So I swapped for another sample. Again, stunning, but not what I was expecting. Months later, I had an opportunity to swap for a full size. One look, and I knew I had found my HG. I've never looked at another taupe again, and even passed up on buying Smoke & Diamonds, Moth Brown, and the famous Shu ME because Selkie Skin satisfies all my taupe desires. I'm a one-taupe girl now :)
Lip Gloss -Lavanila - HEALTHY LIP SHINE - VANILLA BLOSSOM
gorosheeta 7/24/2011 11:21:00 PM
Non-sticky, gives the perfect amount of shine, and deliciously scented: 50% lemon, 50% vanilla -neither too citrusy or too sweet.
I agree with the reviewer who said this is better at keeping existing moisture in, than *adding* moisture to lips. It is thick, waxy, and slightly shiny once applied. Being so thick, it makes a nice primer to lipstick. I'd say the main draw point of this product is its excellent ingredients and divine scent: sweet, creamy roses and beeswax.
More of a sheer tint than an opaque stain, this gives my pigmented lips an apricot flush of color. It smells nice, isn't drying, and has medium longevity.
Thick, liquid, and opaque. Has a nice scent/flavour, and decent staying power. On me, Amuse is a neutral bright pink.
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Gloss Show in 005 Sofia Silver
gorosheeta 7/24/2011 11:01:00 PM
Sofia Silver looks like a frosty glitterbomb in the pot; but once applied, the glitter melts into a beautiful metallic highlight on the lips. Shiny and lightcatching, but not discoesque. Produces a visual plumping effect. No scent or flavour.
Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Loose Eyeshadow in Arcane Magic in Avian Shapeshifter

Am I the only one who sees the purple sparkle in this? Uploaded a pic to show this.
Blackened emerald with lime and spring green shimmer.
**Lifted shamelessly from the Fyrinnae site: "Gleaming, sparkley silver with a greenish highlight that changes to pink and soft gold when closer to light, enhanced by glowing blue sparkle"** This is hands-down my favorite Fyrinnae shade. My eyes, unmade-up, don't have a whole lot of color. They're not a dark intense blue, or a pretty pale blue; just blah and unremarkable. And then comes Warrior-Mage. This green/silver masterpiece makes my eyes look gray, silver, even green. I'll never be without it!
Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Arcane Magic: Velvet Vampire
gorosheeta 7/4/2011 11:32:00 PM
Imagine holding a ruby necklace in front of a candle, and seeing the light through the gem. That's Velvet Vampire. It is at once sultry and luminescent, shadowy and gleaming. It looks great paired with lighter colors (I love it with RHE) and as an ingredient in smokier looks (blended out with Ultrasuede). Love!
I haven't used this yet, so no review for now. I just wanted to upload my picture and say that, irl, the shadow has a bit more green than is shown.
**Description lifted from a blogger's review: "shimmering pewter that can turn into lots of shades, from aqua to light green, from silver to pink ot[sic] lilac"** As I've noted in another Fyrinnae review, this shade also can vary widely from batch to batch. I have two versions: one is a purply-silver pewter, the other is a blue-green pewter. Both versions are stunning. Because there are so many hues inside this shadow, it really goes with anything. The color change is so noticeable you'll get stopped on the street and asked what you're wearing.
