I'd heard a lot of great things about cargo blushes, so imagine my surprise when I saw one on sale for $8.99 at winners! I wish I had read reviews on here before trying this colour though because WOAH is it ever pigmented. Let's just say I learnt my lesson not to over do it very quickly! What makes me so sad is that this colour has been discontinued. Though at the same time I feel lucky to have snatched a pan after the fact. Since it is so pigmented, I'm hoping it will last me a long time. I have barely touched any of my other blushes since buying this one. It just gives me the most perfect, healthy pop of pink that makes my face come alive.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - The Porefessional

I'm pretty new to the primer game and have only tried two others (too faced primed & poreless and one by bare escentuals). This is so far my favourite. It makes my skin so incredibly smooth, smells good and actually makes a difference in the size of my pores. Also I find that compared to the other two I named, this one keeps my make up from sliding a lot better. Will definitely be re buying this again and again.

I am still looking for my HG foundation, but as of right now, this is the closest I have come to it! I bought the colour "shell" and it matches my skin tone to a T. The coverage is utterly perfect as I suffer from quite a few blemishes. This stuff doesn't budge and my t-zone doesn't get even slightly oily until about 6 hours in. Mind, I always use a primer, powder and setting spray with all of my foundations. In combination with my amazing cosmetics concealer, my skin ends up looking flawless.

I kept going back and forth between a 5 and a 3 for the overall rating here. Let me explain ... This foundation blends SEAMLESSLY (better than any other I've ever used, and I have used a lot). It smells fantastic and it feels like you're not wearing anything on your face! On the other hand, though it starts off looking dewy and fresh, it rather quickly turns you into an oil slick if you have anything but dry skin. I have combination skin but this stuff actually made me question whether it was oily. Also, if you have anything beyond a couple blemishes, I wouldn't recommend this. I have to use a loooot of concealer to make my face look even. Overall, I would recommend this whole heartedly to anyone who is looking for light, natural, fresh coverage and I myself will be giving it another try in the winter when my skin is a) dry and b) clearer. Will update then!

FINALLY! After weeks of searching this shade at numerous stores (it was sold out everywhere) I finally got it today and on sale, yay! Bought two tubes right off the bat and am so glad I did. The shade, formula, everything are spot on. Fave new lippy.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

I have had BAD experience with maybelline mascara's so I didn't think I'd ever try one again, however, I've heard great things about this one and it was 50% off at shopper's the other day so I thought I'd give it a go. Definitely a layering mascara for me. Using it on its own, it gives me lots of length but unnaturally so, my eyelashes look spidery. When I layer this over a volumizing mascara though, the result is perfect. Will actually be re-buying this! Also, love the brush! It allows me to reach my tiniest of lashes without making a mess.

Concealers -Amazing Cosmetics - Amazing Concealer

This has for years been and will forever remain my HG concealer. If this ever gets discontinued/changed, I will be beside myself. I consistently get comments about how 'amazing' and 'clear' my skin is. (This is totally not the case, I assure you) and it is all thanks to this baby. The consistency of this concealer is very thick but so easy to work with. I have never meant this more than when I speak about this product, a little goes a long way! The large tube lasted me forever which makes spending the $ on it hurt much, much less.

Bought this when it first came out, sadly because I gave into the hype. What a waste of $! This did nothing special for my lashes. All it did was add colour really! Used it 2-3 times and then gave it to a close friend. Seriously unimpressed.

Not the mascara for me! Having always been a reviewaholic, this was the first mascara I ever purchased. I was so excited! I'm not sure if others had this problem, but I simply found the brush too big to maneuver. I wasn't able to easily reach my smallest lashes and ending up getting this stuff all over my lids. I will however say that the formula is great. With a different brush, I found it worked a lot better. Having said that, it simply isn't worth the price tag.

Was shocked to see this stuff sold at Shoppers Drug Mart! Needless to say, soon as I saw it, I picked up a bottle. So far (based on only two uses, so I will update) this stuff definitely lives up to the hype. My skin has never felt so good after removing make-up! Yes it's rather pricey, but from what I can tell, a little goes a loooong way!

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - 511B Nouveau Pink

After reading all the reviews about wet n wild lipsticks, I finallly went out and bought this colour. I am in love. The pink is so vibrant and just made my face come alive. I want to slap myself silly for not trying these out earlier. I actually cannot believe such a beautiful colour could retail at $1.57. Will definitely be picking up some more colours ASAP.

This product never fails to make my eyebrows look amazing. I get countless comments on how beautifully shaped and dark my eyebrows are and it's all thanks to this stuff. Definitely a staple for me.

I've had this product for a whiiiile and truth be told, had been scared to use it because I didn't ever think I'd be able to do a smokey eye. This made it so easy! I can't wait to buy it in other colours. The application was seamless and I actually can't believe how good it looks.

Absolutely love this stuff! Was offered a sample years ago at Sephora and have been buying it since. It makes my face so incredibly smooth, providing the perfect base for my foundation. This in combination with a setting spray means my make up lasts ALL night. Definitely a staple.

I actually quite like this foundation. The price point is incredible (between 6-8$ at walmart)! Of course, at such a price one shouldn't expect this to be a miracle foundation. It gets the job done providing medium coverage, a nice subtle glow and comes in pretty good shades. It does however get oily quite quickly. This I think is its major downfall. Because of that, this is a good foundation for a few hours but definitely not for the whole day/night.
