The sponge is amazing, I actually went into The Body Shop to buy the exfoliating gloves (which I did :D) but I was also gently persuaded by the sales clerk to try the sponge aswell, for everyday use. PROS: I am so glad she convinced me, I would usually just used my hands to soap up my body in the shower, but the sponge actually feels like I'm cleaning myself! The other great thing is the amount of water and body wash it actually holds. It is saving me money because I physically cannot squeeze the last bit of soap out! I only need a tiny amount to clean my whole body. This is a wonderfully amazing product. CONS: Unfortunately, I literally cannot get all the soap out, so it never dries properly and I do have to replace it quite frequently to avoid any bacterial build up. (Hence the slightly lesser score on the packaging). Overall, I guess you just can't have the best of both worlds. If it going to hold in the soap as well as it does, then I just have to accept the fact that its NEVER going to all be rinsed out. I still wouldn't switch to anything else :) and I highly recommend this product.

Skincare - Body -The Body Shop - Exfoliating Gloves

EDITED: This is by far the best exfoliating tool I have ever used. PROS: Because it is literally a glove, you use the shape of your hands to exfoliate, which has a number of benefits. Firstly, you can get everywhere and apply the same pressure everywhere, and secondly you get the job done so much faster! The gloves also retain the soap really well, making your soap last longer due to using smaller amounts every time. The gloves are not too rough, so you get a great exfoliation without aggravating the skin. In addition, the gloves are so cheap, and you get two of them. Finally, my skin is left feeling soft and smooth, despite what product I use with it. For a more intense exfoliation I use a product with beads, but for a gentler one I use a body wash for acne prone skin :) CONS: None Overall I adore this product and highly recommend that people try it. The benefits and results are amazing.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Aspect - Exfol L15

I use a combination of 3 Aspect serums over the day. I use the Extreme B17 and Jungle Brew in the morning, and the Exfol L15 in the evening. PROS: I'm getting straight into it. The combinaton of the two I use in the morning (upon being absorbed) sooth my redness, brightens and tones my skin, makes my pores disappear!! and just generally freshens by skin before applying moisturiser. The Exfol L15 that I put on in the evening is fantastic, it tingles so I know that it actually is working as samild exfoliant. My skin feels firmer and smoother and creates a fresh base to apply moisturiser, seriously love these products!!! CONS: The price is quite high, at $70 AUS a pop at least. The results show, but once again, its all about what you can afford. I can't really afford these but I buy them anyway!! Additionally, I would say that the packaging sucks, but they have changed it!! The pump used to mess up all the time, but they fixed all that so no more complaints! Overall these products are amazing, my skin would not be the same without them. :) :) Definitely recommend!!

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Priori - Barrier Repair Complex

Once again, as with the body lotion, I was reluctant to try this as the price is quite high, however, once again, results are results. PROS: The results are there instantly, pores are visibly reduced and breakouts start to disappear straight away. After prolonged use, even shallow scarring fades and skin is visibly healthier and more supple and dewy. The pump dispenses the exact right amount and only this small amount is needed to do the job. The AHA percentage is high (2%) unlike drug store AHA containing products. This percentage means that the product actually hydrates the skin deep down and is great for sensitive skin. CONS: The price is very high, which is sort of balanced by the fact that the bottle lasts a very long time. OTHER COMMENTS: As with all moisturisers, the product needs to be backed up by a good cleanser, and potentially serums, unless you are predisposed to amazing skin, lucky you! Amazing skin requires a solid routine and great products, make this one of them!

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Priori - Hand & Body Revitalizing Lotion

I was reluctant to start using this product as it is very expensive as a first off investment. The fact that is lasts forever doesn't really distract you from the price, but the results are amazing. PROS: This product is made for hands and body only, and this specialising means that that they can put a higher concentration of AHA's into the formula (do not use on face!). It is a 16% LCA Complex product meaning that the moisturiser also works as a gentle exfoliant! - keeping my skin soooo soft. A combination of this and my Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash has caused a significant reduction in the spots on my body, and soon they will have disappeared. the dispenser is also fantastic, and the product spreads soooo easily, meaning that the bottle lasts a long time. You don't need to use much to get the desired results. CONS: Obviously the price, it is very high, but worth it if you can afford it. OTHER COMMENTS: This is a product that must be backed up my a good shower gel and exfoliation 2-3 times a week. There is no such thing as one product that can do everything, and having great skin is a lot of work with good products (unless you are one of those lucky few who is predisposed to great skin). Overall, I adore this product, it shows instant results and they last, I can't ask for more than that.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Wild Nature - Pure Organic Aloe Vera Daily Face & Body Wash

I received this product as a present from my mum, when she went up to Byron Bay (Australia) in the summer. At first I was sceptical and kept it in my cupboard, continuing to use my Aspect cleanser. The Aspect cleanser proved to be useless after I while, so I thought I would give this a try. I don't have acne-prone skin, but I do breakout if I don't use products to prevent it from occuring. PROS: I wish I had started using this earlier, my breakouts are gone! It is completely organic and gives you that clean and fresh feeling that is so desired by a cleanser. It leaves no residue and can be used twice a day, NON IRRITATING!. A small bottle (250ml) lasts for months on end so it is great value for money! It also smells amazing...but not overwhelming, and you don't smell "soapy" after using it. Use twice if wearing makeup. CONS: None to speak of. OTHER COMMENTS: Moisturiser is necessary, just using this will dry out your face, as it is not a moisturising cleanser, JUST a cleanser. This is a product that I am introducing to MUA, and unfortunately you can only buy it in Australia, but if anyone wants to get some sent oversees, contact me and I will put you through to the company that supplies it. They are small, but amazing. Overall I love this product, and will never use a non-organic cleanser again. Definitely recommend.

Bronzers -MAC - Bronzer in Golden

I have very pale skin so I use this as a bronzer and a contour. PROS: Wonderful even coverage (though this is always also dependant on brush and primer used). Other reviewers have found this is be unusable in the day, but I believe the complete opposite, I can only use this in the day and I love the shimmery look because it is more natural then the matte look. CONS: I cannot use this at night as the colouring is too light, and night contouring needs to be darker to be seen, but that is not really a CON as it is my fault for choosing a colour that was too light to be used at night. Additionally, MAC is expensive, so this is not for the monetarily challenged. Me personally, I can only afford these sorts of products once in a while and I usually get them as presents. Overall, this product is great, I use it over mineral foundation and it applies flawlessly and evenly. REMEMBER to always blend your bronzers out into the hairline and around the jaw to avoid that "cake face" look.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Be Delicious

As I have said before, rating perfumes is difficult because different people enjoy different fragrances. Saying this, I have never met anyone who does not like the scent of this frangrance. PROS: Fantastic fruity frangrance that is not overwhelming or sickly sweet. And that is saying a lot coming from some one who generally hates fruity fragrances. The bottle lasts forever even though my friends are constantly using it! And it is not too expensive for a perfume... CONS: The packaging is so inconvenient to carry around and I was lucky to find a travel size in this perfume a few years ago. Unfortunately it was limited edition and only sold in duty free on the plane so since then I have had to use a different perfume if I am carrying a small bag. Overall, I love this scent and recommend it to the general public as it seems to be quite popular among people my age (20's).

Gels/Soaps -Neutrogena - Body Clear Body wash

As with any product, I think it is important to remember that no one product works for everyone, and that everyone gets different results. Sometimes breakouts with brilliant products occur because you are allergic to a particular ingredient. In leui of that fact, I bought this product on the recommendations of many MUA reviewers and used it for the first time last night. PROS: Already I have begun to see results. The spots on my back are visibly reduced and are no longer red and irritated. Another great thing about this product is although the smell is very slightly medicinal, I quite like it and it fades instantly and does not leave your bathroom smelling like you've just used a bottle of shower gel to clean the walls. Finally, the smallest amount of product on a loofah or glove does the trick, it foams up and spreads beautifully, making this product good value for money. CONS: I cannot get this product in Australia! I know this doesn't affect some people, but I have had to order this product off eBay because Neutrogena does not stock it here, but its ok because it arrived quite quickly. OTHER COMMENTS: The price is not cheap, but it will clearly last me a long time. Additionally, the packaging it easy to use, and won't leak. Overall assessment is that this product is amazing so far, but I will edit after about 2 weeks to give MUA readers insight into long term effects :).

I think I had an allergic reaction to this product. It made my skin red and itchy and I broke out days after. I have very sensitive skin, and although this is made for combination skin, I just found that it dries mine out. The way it is packaged is good but it is too expensive for what you get.

This is an awful product. It does nothing for the skin's redness, long or short term and leaves the skin feeling oily. I used this regularly, as instructed and it showed no results. And it is expensive! Even after being told to use less, the result was the same.

Powder -Pur Minerals - Pressed Powder Foundation

There have been a lot of mixed reviews about this product, and I think that like any foundation, it depends on the person. I love this product, and I apply it with a Body Shop Kabuki brush, allowing for flawless application. The great thing about applying with a round kabuki brush is that you can build up the coverage. Pros: Personally, I adore it because it gives me a flawless look that lasts for hours. I work a 10 hr work shift and I only have to touch up once throughout. Unlike other mineral powders, touching up does not look cakey, and continues to feel soft throughout the day. Finally, you can build up your coverage as much as you like and it still won't look unnatural. This product is also quite cheap if purchased on ebay or strawberrynet, and I am going to buy the Mineral Light illuminating powder soon aswell! Love love love this brand, and particularly this product :). Cons: I found a con! When the centre of the powder starts to disappear (as all powders do after prolonged use) the edges start to crack and you get almost a loose powder in its place. This is the only annoying thing though so I have no changed the overall rating, and instead only changed the packaging quality.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Dazzleglass - Baby Sparks

This colour is a fantastic addition to the dazzleglass range. The variation in the colours of glitter in it make it perfect for putting over the top of nude lipstick or even on its own! It makes lips appear fuller due to the multidimensional effect of the glitter and lasts forever! (unlike a lot of lip glosses) In addition I love that the applicator is a brush and not a sponge as application is far more accurate and you can decide whether you want a little or a lot of the product on your lips. As with many MAC products, the downside is the pricing, but you are getting a quality product.
