BB Cream -Skin79 - Diamond Collection Pearl BB Cream

This really is something for "Breaking Dawn" fans, but not fit for any normal use...Big glitter particles all over.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Diamond The Prestige BB Cream
goldrauschengel 5/4/2013 7:55:00 PM
I got this in a sample set and have used several times. Actually, eventhough the overall rating is not that great, I like this quite as much as the gold label bb cream. It is not as drying as the pink label and gives the face a radiant glow, though I fail to see any shimmer or glitter particles like other users report here. On my face it looks very natural and youthful, like I have had a walk in fresh air. Could imagine buying this as a full-size soon, but am on a tube of the gold label right now - truly those two are quite the same to me.

Treatments -Aussie - New 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor
goldrauschengel 5/4/2013 7:26:00 PM
First Aussie product for me and I was grossed out by the smell, somewhere between bubblegum and chlorophyll - yikes. Fortunately the smell doesn't really linger in the hair much. I am quite impressed with the detangling and softening properties of this, I rinsed after a minute or two and it still made my dry thick hair very manageable. That said, the smell is so unpleasant that I very likely won't repurchase this.

Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil Free
goldrauschengel 4/19/2013 5:43:00 PM
Actually of the tinted moisturizers I have tried this is my favourite, it's sheer and natural with good coverage, easy to use and does not break nor dry me out, unlike most other products. I could actually use this every day, however there are two points in which this product falls short. First, it makes me quite shiny so that if I have to retouch with face powder quite often. Second, it just makes my face look very plain and doughlike. I suppose I would have to use a lot of other products after to shade and sculpt my face but I actually don't like to wear that much makeup, usually only some blush...So this is maybe too much for me. Plus, now that I have finally tried the Korean bb creams, I just cannot get excited about normal TM anymore.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Gold Label
goldrauschengel 4/19/2013 4:37:00 PM
Very promising so far. Got it in a sample size set, the pink label was too drying for me, but this works fine over moisturiser...The effect is very subtle yet amazing, like some fairy godmother has gone over my face with a magic wand, leaving a healthy glow and well, just a better version of my face. At the same time it feels and looks really natural. If this keeps up and the product doesn't break me out over time, I'm a believer. Edit after about two weeks: Still like this a lot, use it almost every day now. You can avoid the hassle with the pump container by going for the 25 ml tube instead. Only had one breakout in this time and that seemed unrelated to the bb cream, my skin right now is clear and in good condition. The bb gold cream, despite being marketed for dry skin, is still just a little too drying for my skin, but I can compensate by using a richer moisturiser underneath or overnight. Overall a great discovery and in a different league alltogether than the bb creams on the European market.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Pink Label
goldrauschengel 4/18/2013 4:38:00 PM
This is the first Korean bb cream I have tried - thought I might as well start with the most popular one ;) - but I regret to say it seems far too drying, I noticed dry patches showing up around my nose and between the eyebrows after three hours of wearing this, despite using moisturizer underneath. Also, the result was actually too natural, seeing as it was that my face looked exactly the same after application as before. I couldn't notice any coverage or finish to speak of... I mean, I have pretty good skin to start with, but I was expecting some kind of visual effect all the same...Hm. I will try the Gold label next, which is supposed to work better for dry skin.

Lip Gloss -Tarte - Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss in Tipsy
goldrauschengel 4/18/2013 2:54:00 PM
I thought the packaging was cute and maracuja sounds yummy, but the product itself is a total disappointment. The smell is offputting, plus the gloss feels very sticky and heavy on the lips but doesn't hydrate properly at all. Besides, I find it rather difficult to get this out of the tube and apply.

Lipstick -La Roche Posay - Novalip Duo
goldrauschengel 4/17/2013 3:17:00 PM
I received one of these lipsticks for Xmas as did my sister, and we both fell in love with it. I swear this is the only lipstick I have ever tried which doesn't dry out my lips, but instead conditions and moisturizes them. It is not rich enough to repair seriously cracked or damaged lips (for that, try Lansinoh), but it will definitely improve the condition of slightly dry lips. It is also very comfortable to wear, has no smell nor taste and comes in many pretty shades both for winter and summer.

BB Cream -Nivea - BB Cream in Light
goldrauschengel 4/14/2013 7:18:00 AM
Nivea has put this product on the German market some months ago, and I have finally given into temptation whenit was on offer for 7 €... I think many womenwould find the available two shades disappointing... I have bought the light shade and it's actually quite dark, like a medium beige with red undertones. It works barely on me, only as a summer product. Coverage is light, like a tinted moisturiser. Actually there is often hardly any difference between tm and bb creams, if you ask me. This Nivea bb cream comes in a tube, has a relatively nice consistency, quite creamy, and is easy to spread with the fingers. Results in a very natural look but I cannot really describe the finish...It's neither dewy nor matte, basically the skin just looks more even. A big advantage of this product in my opinion is that it is non-drying, I use it over a light moisturiser for good measure because my skin dries really quickly from foundations of all kinds. Another plus is the typical Nivea cream smell of this product, which I was feeling a certain nostalgic longing for... All in all, not a miracle product but a pleasant and good-value product for daily use - if you can get away with the shade.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light
goldrauschengel 4/14/2013 6:44:00 AM
I bought this product because of the overall good rating here and in the hope that it wouldn't be too drying, which is the main problem I have with foundations and even tinted moisturizers. I have sensitive combination skin tending towards dryness particularly on the cheeks. After trying this product several times, I would say it's a good product to use once in a while but not on a daily basis. The consistency is light, liquid and the scent neutral, which I like. A pump dispenser would have been better but I just keep the tube turned upside down to avoid spilling, which works fine. The coverage is surprisingly high, it looks a bit caked on for the first ten minutes, but eventually blends into the skin and looks quite natural. Also it delivers the promised matifying effect and has good staying power. However, it is a bit too drying for me to wear every day, and I started developing white heads after wearing it two days in a row. So to sum up, an ok product to wear every now and then but not the HG I am still looking for...Not good enough for me to repurchase.

Bronzers -Guerlain - Terracotta Bronzing powder
goldrauschengel 2/5/2013 5:29:00 PM
I really thought bronzers did not work for me, they always looked unnatural and orange on my fair skin. Then I read about this in a very stylish book by Inès de la Fressange, claiming that all French women owned this product to get a St. Tropez look in Parisian winter, and when I saw this in front of me at the duty free, I just had to try it. And what a great surprise! This bronzer has no glitter, looks very natural, lasts very long and gives me a much healthier and fresher complexion, it's too bad it has taken me so long to find it. Impressed with the formula, too - this is not drying at all, unlike any other face powder I know.

Concealers -Cargo - One Base Concealer and Foundation in One
goldrauschengel 1/1/2013 3:08:00 PM
This product was designed for women who only want coverage in some areas of the face, making it well-suited to my needs. I have found virtually all foundations to be too drying on my sensitive combination skin, so on a regular daily basis I opt for concealer and face powder instead. Cargo one base is great for me because it is quick and uncomplicated to use... I just dab a bit around the eyes, the nose and on the chin and spread with my fingertips. The consistency is liquid so it is easy to spread, the coverage is medium, definitely enough to lighten up shadows and correct red patches on fair skin like mine (I use the lightest shade). Staying power is good. I also like the packaging, the tube is easy to carry along. The price is a bit steep though, around 20€ via beautybay.com, and there are so many liquid concealers on the market nowadays that I am not entirely sure I will repurchase this one, though I really like it.

Treatments -Tarte - Pure Maracuja Oil
goldrauschengel 1/1/2013 2:25:00 PM
I asked my bf to bring this back with him from Sephora in the US and I am SO in love with this product! First of all, the packaging is amazing...It comes in a purple glass bottle with wooden screwtop and integrated pipette, the whole thing is packed very attractively inside a bamboo lookalike box, all very classy and luxurious. The product itself is fantastic, you just take 2-3 drops into the palm of your hand, spread them evenly and smooth all over the face. The scent is very natural and subtle, I don't think there is any added fragrance at all. The oil sinks into the skin and makes it radiant, supersoft and velvety without leaving any greasy film or shine. I have used this as a makeup base in the daytime as well as an overnight treatment, and both works perfectly. Usually I don't even have to use another moisturiser on my cheeks which I find impressive, since most face oils alone do not give me enough moisture. This is definitely my new favourite winter skincare product and might even work beautifully in summer, seeing how light the texture is. Only other face oil that can compete with this quality is Nude Skincare Replenishing Night Oil. The price is quite high (40/50 dollars?) but the bottle is bigger than I expected, and will probably last a very long time. Big HG potential for sure, though I will have to update later concerning long-term effects... Edit: Unfortunately this face oil seems to be giving me breakouts, at least when used pure as an overnight treatment on my skin. I have discontinued use for the time being but will try this mixed with my normal moisturizer to see if that works. It's a pity because I really liked the idea off maracuja oil and it seemed so amazing at first...

Gels/Soaps -Johnson & Johnson - Bedtime Cream Wash
goldrauschengel 1/1/2013 1:45:00 PM
I had seen all the rave reviews on MUA so I had to try this product eventhough the bedtime line doesn't sell in Germany... Finally I found this on Amazon via a UK supplier, produced in Italy for the Polish market - hello, global economy ;) While I am happy enough with the body wash to use up the big 400 ml bottle, I was a little disappointed by the smell, which is too sweet and articificial for my taste...I guess I was expecting a more natural lavender and chamomile scent. My only hope is that perhaps the Bedtime products from the US are formulated differently - I have ordered the bedtime body lotion and bath via Ebay to check and will update my review when they arrive. If they are the same, then I won't repurchase, considering that the costs for international delivery make this a medium-priced product for me rather than a bargain.

Moisturizers -Vichy - Idéalia
goldrauschengel 12/21/2012 5:56:00 PM
I bought this in Paris when it came out last spring and really enjoyed it, particularly as a summertime moisturizer. Like all Vichy products, this is very good for my sensitive combination skin. It has a pale pink colour, smells slightly floral and leaves a silky feel...Plus it really gave me a subtle glow eventhough it did not really add shine or tint the face, my face just looked very natural and healthy. The only objection I have to buying this again is that it only comes in a pot instead of a tube...
