Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

This product is overhyped and not a good makeup product. It may be fun for young girls starting out with makeup to use, but for real makeup users, this is total crap. The texture is mousse like but creates a cakey, uneven base. It lasts only 1-3 hours and fades away terribly. The coverage is crappy but you can't really tell because its hard to apply the strange mousse. Fingers isn't good at blending it and it doesnt pick up well with a brush. The only thing i liked about it was the packaging but overall, this foundation is just a rip off to make money by making it seem cool.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

Get this foundation now! I got for about $10 at my Target and i love it so much. It's so simple and just a nice liquid foundation. I usually use it as a concealer because it's pretty full coverage. You can mix it with your moisturizer to create a perfect tinted moisturizer or just wear it full on as a foundation. It creates a seamless flawless look that looks so natural on the skin! You can't tell that you're wearing makeup! It lasts all day even through my spinning class and has a great color selection. This is just as good as all of those high end ones and i would know because i'm a totally sephora junkie and usually stay away from the drugstore makeup. But this is definitely a truly great product!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion
goldgalore35 11/7/2011 3:15:00 PM
This lotion is wonderful for both the face & body. It has a very airy texture which feels very lightweight, moisturizing, and smooth on you skin. My skin is kinda dry and very acne prone. Plus, i'm allergic to sunscreen and a few chemicals, so this lotion does the trick. I have been using Cetaphil for years and years and years. Your face may sting when you first use Cetaphil. Let me tell you that it is prob not Cetaphil that is causing the reaction: but the sudden change in products, or the stop of using a product. If you want a product that is trustworthy, not a waste of money (cheap for a lot of lotion), and fantastic. go buy it. Also, Cetaphil is commonly recommended from dermatologists (my mom) to acne prone & sensitive skin. Its very basic, plain, and perfect! :)

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Cream

i love this! i have dry/combination skin. just don't use any creams if u r very oily overall. but first i used a bit too much and thought that this was bad, but then i learned to swipe just a little on my cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin and i was all set to go! it has great slip, so a little will go a long way. i wouldn't recommend this if u have serious acne all over, use liquid foundation, or do a lot of excersize or sit in heat a lot of the day. unless u have dry skin. i use cetaphil as my daily skincare for cleansing, moisturizing, etc... my acne has actually improved over 1 week immensely. and the price is great! it may be a bit pricey for some of u who like the drugstore, but this jar will last at least 10 months. if not more. make sure ur hands are washed before u use this, since u dont want more bacteria in there. i have improved in skin tone, acne, and my face felt instantly smoother and left it feeling like a baby's but. make sure u use very little so that it can sink in. i think many of u think its oily because u r simply using too much of it. i use this, use maybelline fit me powder which i love just on my t-zone!, and some mascara and i look amazing. many people always ask me about my skin becuz it looks glowing. and it does! that's why i think all those super mattifying powders are stupid because so many women think it is because it makes them look non oily. well, u want radiance and shine, just not greasy shine. a bit of shine looks amazing! all in all, if u are looking for a great moisturizer that actually moisturizes your skin wonderfully, buy this!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Fit Me

I think people are getting the wrong idea here. All powders don't have to make your skin matte, keep oil at bay, and set your foundation just to be a great powder. powder is just powder for you face. I actually love this. light, velvety, smooth tones down any oily shine from moisturizer great simple setting powder great colors! looks very natural, instead of really matte I love this powder because it doesn't take my healthy radiant glow away from me. but it does take away the too oily looking shine i get from my moisturizer. i think this is a great product if u don't have very oily skin, don't use liquid foundation everywhere, and love the fake unhealthy super matte look. i with the packaging was a bit thinner, and round so that it would be a better fit for my pocket, and purses.
