I like this gloss. The packaging ensures that you don't take a huge goop of gloss out. A little bit goes a long way, and the smell/taste is subtle, but nice. The color is very sheer - I like to use it on top of a red lip stain to give it a more dark pinkish sheen. If money were no object, I would definitely buy it again.

Polishes -Revlon - ColorStay Always On Nail Enamel [DISCONTINUED]

The longest-lasting nail polish I've tried so far. Lasted a week without any chipping, and it probably would have lasted longer if I didn't get fidgety and scratch it off (which was hard to do). It works well as a set, but not as well separately - the topcoat doesn't work too much better than clear nail polish. I used Always Vintage, which is a gorgeous shimmery deep red color. My one qualm is that it tends to get a little goopy after a few months, but that was probably because I didn't use it too much and it didn't really affect the overall consistency of the product.

Not particularly impressive. I like that it's a big pot, but overall it's not very pigmented, and I need a lot of swipes before it shows up on my NC25 skin. Not worth the price.

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Active Moist

I recieved this as a sample in a swap. I like that it's a very lightweight moisturizer, but that's about it. The smell is kind of medicinal, and it leaves my skin feeling a bit sticky and not very clean. It's got average moisturizing power. I'm sure there's better moisturizers out there.

Amazing stuff. I actually don't use it on my cuticles - I don't really need it - but during the winter my knuckles get incredibly dry, cracked and flaky. I slathered on some of the cuticle cream at night and literally within a day, my knuckles were smooth and soft. A bit greasy, but what do you expect? Definitely worth it.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Waterproof

Despite all the reviews, I like it. It doesn't clump unless you put on more than two layers, and it's actualy a bit more clump-free (in my experience) than CG's non-waterproof lash exact. I think it's because of the brush - the bristles aren't all packed closely together like other clumpy mascara's I've tried. Holds a curl well on my straight lashes. Doesn't give you "glam lashes" like what all the magazines say, but it's a good everyday mascara. I use vaseline as an eye makeup remover and it comes right off.

Works surprisingly well. Absorbs fairly quickly, depending on how much you put on, and smoothes out the dry spots on my lips, leaving them nice and soft. It actually does feel a bit fizzy on the lips, and smells like orange, but if you have it for a long time, the fizz goes away and it starts to smell a little weird, but still works.

My nails tend to chip and peel constantly, especially when I clip them. I used this once or twice a day for 10 days, and at first it looked like it was healing, but then I cut my nails again, and it peeled even more than before. It's a good concept, having the treatment absorb into your nail instead of putting another layer on, but unfortunately it made my nails worse.

Works surprisingly well. I use the curler with the light blue rubber/silicone pads that came with the package. Curls my stick-straight Asian lashes quite nicely, and I don't even need to press down for that long. Would definitely repurchase if I had to, although it's meant to last a long time.

Horrible. I shaved my legs one night, and it seemed pretty smooth - nothing special, but smooth. Then at night, suddenly my legs get REALLY itchy, and in the morning I had massive razor burn and all these little red dots over my hair follicles. And also, the hairs get trapped behind the blades and you pretty much can't get them out. Avoid this razor like the plague.

Not too bad. It's a nice deep grey that you can make as dark as you like with layering. The packaging is nice too - the clasp is nice and secure, so it won't open up or anything while in your bag. There's a double-ended eyeshadow sponge, one for heavier application and one for more precise application. The thing that's the dealbreaker is the glitter. I prefer smaller shimmer particles all throughout the shadow, but this eyeshadow has big sparkles that are inconsistent in it. I'll probably test out some different brands.

All I smell is cotton candy, and nothing else. You're better off buying some preteen drugstore body spray that's cotton candy scented instead of spending so much money on it.

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Nail Polish (any color)

I was intrigued by the Lycra in the polish, so I tried it out in Black Satin. One of the only good things about this polish is that it has a brush that's bigger than normal, so you can put more polish on with each stroke. But that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. - I don't know if it's like this with all black polishes, but my first coat was light, and didn't have much pigmentation. You would need maybe 2 or 3 for it to be opaque. - Satin my ass. It's clumpy. No matter how smooth I tried to make it, it cam out a bit bumpy on my nails. - Takes WAY too long to dry. - A pretty big chunk chipped off after 2 days. This is with a topcoat. Definitely will NOT buy again. I guess the Lycra made it worse, not better.

Goes on smooth, doesn't streak, and never gets clumpy, even if youve had it for years. Although it only has average staying power - the clear polish is no substitute for a proper topcoat.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Panoramic Curl - Waterproof

Since it's advertised to be a curling mascara, I would expect it to do a better job. I curl my straight Asian lashes with a curler, apply this mascara and two hours later, the curl is already about half gone. It's KIND of waterproof and not rubproof. Makes lashes look a bit thicker and more noticeable, but that's pretty much the only perk. Clumpy.
