Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

My dermatologist recommended using Cerave over all other facial moisturizer/cleansers. That is a pretty high recommendation so I bought my first batch of the Cerave PM for the face about two months ago. I am happy to report that this is a new staple for me and in the past two months I have actually seen improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. I use this on my face before I go to bed and this is the first moisturizer I have used that actually seems to minimize my fine forehead lines. In the morning my skin seems much less dehydrated. I have combo skin which tends to get very dry but can still break out around the mouth sometimes. I have had no reactive breakouts to this product. Very good value as well. I am now very curious about Cerave's other products and if they work as well.
How have I not written about this concealer before? I have tried many other loves but always come back to this HG concealer. I use #1 shade in the winter and the #2 in the summer if I can manage to get a tan. The color goes well with my skin tone and has excellent coverage. The texture is great too and blends very well. Lately I have been using the smoothing stick in combination with the Healthy Glow Sheer in fair to light and love the result - very luminous looking.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)

I bought my first jar of coconut oil about 9 months ago and am just now polishing it off. This jar saw me all through fall and winter and using it ever day to take off my makeup. I also used it 2-3 time a week as all over body moisturizer and one a week as a deep conditioning hair treatment. I also used it intermittently as a face, cuticle and hand moisturizer (although I need something more emollient over the top of it) and boo-boo healer. I have combo skin and did not find this to break me out. In general my skin has been much less flaky and dry than other winters. I wouldn't say this is a miracle but is it is pretty awesome and everyone should keep a stash in their bathroom - if nothing else than to remove eye makeup and deep condition hair. Over the years I have bought gazillion products that were much more expensive and did not work nearly as well. Two things to note - this oil is a solid so you have to rub it in your hands to make it turn into an oil (quasi annoying) and try and find an unscented version if you can. The scented version is very sweet smelling.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

A coworker turned me on to Aquaphor last year to help with the cracked soles of my feet. There has been no looking back! This is the best deep moisturizer there is and I use it all the time on my feet. I also use it on my elbows, upper arms and hands and in particular the cuticles. I did not realize you can use it on your face too. Hmmm. The one comment I would make is that if you are going to put on your feet then put socks on immediately afterwards. This stuff is thick and takes awhile to absorb. If you walk around without socks you will make big greasy tracks all over your floor (learned this the hard way!).
This is such a good hair product. My hair frizzes very easily even with product so to straighten my hair and relatively keep it frizz free I use in combination with Living Proof's Anti-Frizz spray and they work great together for medium humid days. Also, the best thing about the Jonathan Straightening lotion is that for super humid days you can just to put it in your hair and let it dry naturally. It can really hold a good curl/wave.
I bought the whole Biosilk "system" a few weeks ago and have had happy results. I've found the the silk therapy works really well to combat frizz but still give my hair body. I dig it. Reading previous revews I'm concernend about the alchol content and the long term effect on my hair so I will revavulate in a month or so. ***Update - This did not destroy my hair but nor did hold up in the humid days of summer. My hair is very prone to frizz so it may work for another hair type.
Terrible product. Offers no coverage and even though I am pale it made me look chalky. Waste of money, I will never buy again. The one thing it had going for it is that it never broke me out.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Foaming Facial Cleanser - Sensitive Skin

I have been using this face wash for 10 years at least, so I guess it's a HG by now. Clean and Clear does a great job of removing all of my makeup (eye makeup too!) and does not dry out or irritate my skin. There might be better facial cleansers out there but this one is so cheap and good, why bother?
Styling Products -Living Proof - (Spray) Straight Making No Frizz Styling Spray

I have been using living proof for fine to medium hair for the past two weeks to help straighten my shoulder length naturally frizzy, I mean, curly hair. Living proof is doing it's job and working out great! I got caught in the rain yesterday with no hat and my hair even looked better afterwards - instead of going from straight to frizzy my hair went from straight to really gorgeous curls. I have been using the product by spraying on to my hair when it is about 60% dry and then using a blow dryer and a round brush. So far my favorite thing about living proof is that when it is even when it is super humid my hair curls instead of frizzing up. Most of the time living proof keeps my hair straight and swinging. HG product - but too darn expensive!
This a a very decent drugstore mascara. The pigment is very good and it really doesn't flake until you have had it a few months and by then it's time to throw it out.
I have being using this lip gloss in "heather" for the past month and while I LOVE the color and the glossiness I absolutely hate the packaging. It's a pretty sticky lipgloss and the one I have leaks all the time and gets all over the rest of the stuff in my makeup bag. I also don't like how sticky it feels on my lips. There are better glosses out there - Lorac, Smashbox & Clinique.
Treatments -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Intensive Serum

This is my first venture into the world of retinol products and I am very happy. I have been using the serum for the last three weeks with good results, better than I expected actually. I use the serum in combination with my favorite Kiehl's moisturizer before I go to sleep. I have not have an sort of allergic reaction and have definitely noticed that my forehead lines are disappearing. My overall skin texture seems to be better too, although not dewey (yet). This product does smell like maple syrup but that goes away quickly. Will keep on using.
I've tried this moisturizer several times over the years and I have to waive the white flag - this stuff breaks me out like nothing else does. It's maddening since everyone else seems to have such great experiences with the product and the price is right. Sigh.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Full Potential plumping lip gloss

I bought this lipgloss last week in Pink Champagne and so far I really love it. The color is great by itself and is even better when layered over lipstick (I tend to wear pinkish browns and mauves). The texture is nice and lasts longer than most lipglosses out there. As for the lip plumping action I can't say that I really noticed much other than a slight tingling feeling but I still think it's worth buying,
Highbeam has gradually become one of my favorite Benefit products. It's easy to use and a little goes a long way. I put it on top of my cheekbones with a little bronzer or blush below and in the inner corner of my eyes. Highbeam adds a natural and flattering glow, I will buy again.
