This is a great oil controlling powder for people with oily skin. It instantly mattifies your face, and minimizes your pores. I've tried MAC blot powder on one side of my face, and this on the other. Although it came pretty close between the two, I thought this powder did a slightly better job at controlling oil, at least for 4 hours, but maybe variable depending on how oily your skin is. I've also tried Maybelline's dream matte powder and shine control powder, but those didn't mattify as long as this powder did. There is also no fragrance, which is important for me. In terms of packaging, it comes with a foamy white sponge and a large mirror. I do like the sleek black packaging, which is more attractive than other drugstore pressed powders, especially since the cap isn't clear. The only con I can think of is if you layer it on too heavily at once, it can leave a white cast, but as long as you blend it out, it's translucent. Overall, this product is worth a try, and I will be purchasing again!

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I've been using this product for several years now, and I've tried other moisturizers before but I keep coming back to this one primarily because it has done wonders for decreasing post-acne hyperpigmentation presumably because of the soy ingredients. Despite that, this is a great moisturizer, leaves skin feeling soft, and it isn't too heavy. It leaves a dewy finish, and it doesn't break me out. There's a slight fragrance to it, but it fades quickly. There are no shimmers, and I usually use it underneath my primer and makeup without problems.

Polishes -China Glaze - China Rouge

Best red nail polish I've come across in terms of color. Traditional, neutral red that'll go great with any skin tone. Applies effortlessly, and opaque even with just one coat. It's non-streaky upon application and dries quickly. Would definitely re-purchase and recommend.

Great conditioner, it's affordable, smells like coconut, and gives you immediate results. My hair was noticeably softer and smoother after blow-drying. I don't use it everyday, but I use it at least once a week with great results. I would highly recommend this product!

Cleansers -Aveeno - Skin Brightening Cleanser

This review is for the Positively Radiant Brightening Cleanser, NOT scrub. I was using the scrub for about a year, so I decided to purchase the regular cleanser as well. This was not what I expected, there are subtle shimmers in this cleanser! I was very disappointed, especially since I tried it in the morning and had to put on my contacts right afterwards hoping the shimmers wouldn't irritate my eye.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte lipstick in Mauve It Over

This color is very similar to Maybelline's Warm Me Up, but slightly cooler, and it still looks good on warm skin tones. It's a very creamy lipstick and lasts about 4 hours before I need to reapply again. There's no noticeable scent or taste to it, which I like. I would highly recommend this matte lipstick!

Lipstick -Lancome - Color Design Matte Lipstick

This is a great matte lipstick! I have this in Stylista, which is a dark rosy pink. The formula is long lasting, I can usually get away with not reapplying throughout the day. Like most matte lipsticks, this will dry out your lips to some extent. The packaging is nice and sturdy, and I would definitely repurchase and try out the other colors.

Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil - all

I have this eyeliner in black, and it is the best eyeliner I've found. It's waterproof, and glides very easily. The color payoff is very good, and it's easy to smudge. You can get away with wearing it for most of the day without primer. The only things I don't like about it is that it's not a good pencil for lining your waterline, and that you need to sharpen it, but that's a small price to pay for the quality you get and the price. I have this in smokey plum too, which is also a great eyeliner that doesn't budge even without primer!

Pressed Powders -Bare Escentuals - READY SPF 15 Touch Up Veil

This is a great travel version of mineral veil. It minimizes the look of pores, doesn't cake, and mattifies. It comes with a sponge applicator that has a faux leather backing, and a decent sized mirror. The packaging is nice and sturdy. This product would be perfect if it didn't have a strong smell to it. The smell stays with you long after you apply it, which may bother some people.
