I ordered this product online on a whim because I'd seen some pretty good reviews online, and I'm really glad I did. :) I'm no make-up expert so I can't tell if the coverage is excellent or whatever, but it covers up my blemishes which makes it good enough for me. Mine is in pure beige and it fits my skin tone perfectly even though I'm always getting tanner or fairer over time. It also gives my face a kind of golden dewy glow, maybe because it has yellowish undertones! The only thing I dislike about this concealer is the built-in applicator. Quite a bit of product gets stuck on the brush, which is a waste! It's also easy to accidentally squeeze out too much product. One way to get around this is to squeeze it out on your finger first before applying, though that doesn't reduce the wastage. For the price, I think the packaging can be overlooked. This concealer is definitely worth a try if you're looking for a new concealer that will do the job without burning a hole in your pocket. :)

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm

I bought this in Cherry (colourless) because my lips were starting to peel recently. The product claims to give users baby lips, with permanent use. Maybe because I've only been using this for a few days, but my lips feel more chapped rather than baby smooth! A friend told me to continue using it because the peeling might be a form of "exfoliation", but my lips actually looked better once I stopped applying it. The packaging is super cute, and I love lip balms that smell nice. But a lip balm that worsens your lip condition is useless!

Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning lotion

This product has an amazing, rich vanilla smell! I really loved applying it every night before bed because I'd go to sleep smelling of chocolate. However, some people who prefer more subtle scents might not like it. When I put this on in my bedroom, my mom could smell me from the living room LOL. Scent aside, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone staying in hot and humid countries like myself. It's more suitable to be used during winter climates, I think, because it's really thick and moisturising. When I applied this at night, my legs were still sticky/greasy in the morning. Which is pretty gross, by the way, if you tend to sweat alot like me. I'm not sure if it's my fault for putting on too much, or Vaseline's fault for not being able to absorb well! I don't regret buying this because it was on sale and not very pricey anyway. But I'll be trying out other brands instead to see if I can find a product that absorbs into my skin better.

Scrubs -Soap and Glory - Flake Away Spa Body Polish
rated 4 of 5

I bought this at a local Sephora store after reading so many good reviews online. Actually, I just wanted to try out a Soap & Glory product because the brand is that good at marketing haha! Anyway, I needed a body scrub and this Body Polish sounded like something that would come in handy. The tub was more pricey than I expected. 22 bucks is not a small sum for a student with limited daily allowance! However, the container is HUGE and people tell me it lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. The packaging was also such a pretty pink and looking at it just made me feel a little happier inside LOL. At first whiff, the scent was so strong I felt dismayed, but trust me-it grows on you. Just don't put your nose directly above and inhale like I did hahaha. It smells way better when you're using it and afterwards too! This product was more exfoliating than my previous scrubs, so it did take some time to get used to. The polish left behind a layer of something-oil?-that I couldn't wash away, so I'm assuming it's meant to moisturise my skin! I didn't feel like putting any lotions after using this because my skin felt hydrated enough. This is a great perk because usually exfoliators make my skin feel more dry than normal. I'd recommend this product to anyone who's up to try a nice-smelling scrub that does its job. I would re-purchase this again, but hopefully with a discount!
