Fragrances -Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanille Abricot

I can't believe more people don't like this. Of course perfume totally depends on your personal taste. This is one of my favorites. If you like gourmand scents, you may like this one. It's kind of pricey if you buy it in retail stores. If you like the scent, 1stperfume.com has the best price I've found for it.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 109 Small Contour Brush
girlfish1 3/15/2009 4:50:00 PM
This is the best brush I've ever used for applying powder blush. The diameter is perfect for applying blush just where you want it. It's also dense enough to deposit color perfectly. I've had no problem whatsoever with shedding. I think others may be having a shedding problem because they're using it for products it was not intended for (liquids and creams). It's made for powders, so I think if you want a brush for creams or liquids a dense goat hair or synthetic brush may work better.

Treatments -Obagi - Clear

I agree with the other poster. You do not have to waste your money on the entire Obagi system. The only necessary product from this system is the Clear. You will have to get the Retin A from your dermatologist. I have used the entire system and the Clear and Retin A on their own. Both give the same results, except you're layering more stuff on your face with the system. Which I find totally unnecessary. BTW, this product is for hyperpigmentation, sun spots, freckles, etc. If you don't have any of these, skip it. It's not going to help with anything else. If you do, try it. It's the only thing that's worked for me. I get mine through skincareheaven.com who sell it for $71.00 U.S. and have free priority shipping.

Mascara -Kiss Me - Kiss Me Mascara

This mascara is the reason I've started wearing mascara again. I love it! I love the clean look it gives my lashes. Most mascaras are clumpy, fibery, and flakey. The formulation isn't that of regular mascaras though, which is probably why some people don't like it. One coat does it! Try to apply a second coat and... well, you'd only be hurting yourself. I bought mine for $12.00 at a beauty supply, which I think may have been a mistake on part of the salesperson since I've seen it retail at other places for over $20.00. Hmmm...maybe I should go back and stock up.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - retractable kabuki
girlfish1 2/15/2009 5:18:00 AM
I discovered this brush on Oprah's web site under the drugstore treasures link. Even though I already have MUFE's synthetic kabuki brush and love it, I couldn't resist picking this one up. It works great and it's convenient with it's covered case. It picks up powder really well and feels great against the skin. Best of all, it's not expensive so I don't have to feel guilty about buying it.
