This is the first MAC product I ever used and I still haven't deviated from it for my face. Matches my skin perfectly (NC15) and provides silky smooth coverage. It's pricy but lasts a long time. The packaging is sleek and functional. Highly recommend!

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Bordeaux

I love this lipstick. It feels and looks the same as one of those stunning (and much more expensive) Chanel hydrabase lipsticks. The Bordeaux shade gives a wine stained appearance and feels incredibly sexy. A touch goth- I keep the rest of my makeup low key so that the focus is on the lips. Would definitely recommend.

Fragrances -Chanel - No.5

I wish more younger women would indulge in No. 5. It's a strong scent, but very dramatic, and always puts me in mind of Coco Chanel and her world. It's too expensive, but really is a treat to put on for special occasions (or more often if you are willing to buy it more often). And that bottle... so gorgeous. The wax seal is an elegant finishing touch.

This was an impulse purchase because the puffiness under my eyes drives me nuts. I have had it for a while and like the cool sensation it provides, but I really haven't noticed any decrease in puffiness, even combined with lots of exercise and water consumption. Oh well! I like the name :)

I have to be honest that this product doesn't show up brilliantly on my pale-bordering-on-ghost skin, but it does seem to provide a faint pinky glow and I love swiping it on in the morning. The packaging is beautiful. I use a larger blush brush than the little enclosed one and makes me feel somehow "done" and ready to start my day.

Lip Gloss -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint Lip Balm

Benetint lip balm is definitely expensive, but well worth the price. I love the small size of the pot (easy to tote around all day) and the light scent. I don't like to wear strong colours on my lips in the daytime, so the subtle red stain the balm provides is perfect. You can layer it for a more dramatic tint. My only complaint is that this balm is not terribly moisturizing, so I usually layer rosebud salve over or under for added moiture and shine.
