I love MAC lipstick as it has no taste or funky smell.. and the colors are nice. I got both this and Gaga... I like to wear this with Gaga on top and gives me the perfect coral pinkt that matches my new pink hair highlights..
bought this to try in hopes to find something with more volume and cheaper than my clinique Lash Power- Pros- Price- $6 at target, not on sale-this is the cheapest or one of hte cheapest mascara's that L'Oreal makes. I like that the formula itself doesnt smudge on me (everything usually does) , it also built volume and length fairly easy tube redesigned to remove extra - it actually works! cons- the wand is horrible. it is so flexible and it bends coming out of the tube its very messy to apply- i end up having to clean the top of my lids off and retouching makeup. takes forever to dry all in all, i dont think i will repurchase this, but it isnt bad for budget and in a pinch
Self Tanners -Clinique - Self Sun Body Daily Moisturizer
ginasuicide 6/9/2009 6:28:00 PM
I have this in Med-Deep. my skin is fair, but I wanted to build up color faster and not have to apply every day. this shade is perfect without being too dark (only use every couple of days) there is a weird smell to the product when its in the tube and squirting out, but as I'm applying it goes away. and doesnt have a scent once it is on. it rubs in easy and evenly, no streaks. the color is very natural as well. i would def rebuy. liked this better than other daily moisturizers that ive tried
Conditioner -TiGi - Bedhead Moisture Maniac Conditioner
ginasuicide 6/8/2009 7:01:00 PM
Just as bad as the matching shampoo.no moisture at all. dried my hair out so bad. the only way it would recoup is if I poured this on. and the bottle is HALF the size of hte shampoo, which makes no sense. ended up giving both to my friend. coudlnt hack it
this stuff dried my hair out like nobody's business! so horrible i had to buy more shampoo and conditiioner while on vacation (which led me to Aveda and I'm so thrilled) i like the pump bottle (kinda hard to use in shower though) but i dont understand ... the shampoo is twice the size as the conditioner. dont most people use LESS shampoo and MORE conditioner?
I love this shampoo! I recently merged back to sulfates after Devacurl stopped working for me and left my hair too greasy feeling. (and now I am way too used to the Aveda scent and cant stomach Deva at all) this doesnt strip my dry hair (coarse & naturally dry, curly-wavy but oilier roots) and it feels good and clean without oiling the roots . the shampure conditioner wasnt moisturizing enough for me so i use Be curly conditioner. this is a good basic and very well priced for this line (think around $9 a bottle vs $20 for the curly stuff)
the Shampure line is far more reasonable priced than the rest of the hair products! I have coarse, curly-wavy hair that is naturally dry . this didnt give much moisture. actually, none. however, it was awesome for CO washing and my roots didnt feel gross at the end of the day. I still need more moisture, so i use the Be Curly conditioner. but sometimes ill add a touch of this as leave in my only complaint is this and the shampoo have the exact same bottle. so blind me in the shower without contacts has to pick up each bottle to see what is what. I fixed the problem by switching the shampoo cap with the Aveda detox shampoo that is brown so that i can easily tell the difference of which one i am grabbing. yes, I am that blind and cant read the bottles from 6 inches away!
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Black Honey
ginasuicide 4/3/2009 10:39:00 PM
I got this as a deluxe sample from Sephora. it is the first shade of Superbalm's that actually have color to it and that show up. the rest just go on clear (on me anyways) I cant wait for this to be out in full size!
I used to use this years and years ago, and gave it another try while on hunt for a powder foundation . I love the way this one glides on, and stays on well. but it was a tad too heavy for my oily skin. it would probably be ok for the winter time for me, but not for the summer. however, anyone with normal to slightly dry skin should give it a try!
Eyeliner -Clinique - Cream shaper for eyes black diamond
ginasuicide 3/18/2009 9:36:00 PM
Gave this a whirl after searching for a pencil liner to use on the lower lashes. I didnt like UD 24/7 in Zero or MUFE aqua liner. I love this pencil! it goes on so smooth and blends easily, and last all day. no smudges! my only complaint is all of them have a slight shimmer to it, which gets to be irritating to my eyes. I had to cut back on my UD shadows that were super glittered as well. Id love for them to make these without shimmer.
Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild
ginasuicide 3/18/2009 9:34:00 PM
I purchased this and Mild Clarifying lotion as alternative to the Acne Solutions line, which I love, but the SA suggested I not stay on it if my acne is cleared up and not constant. The mild liquid soap burned my face (even though im oily) but this doesnt. It rinses away and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. used it a few weeks, no breakouts. even though its creamy cleanser, it has a much better texture than Cetaphil. plus i feel it has better cleansing that cetaphil. and honestly, not that much more expensive! the pump bottle is nice too, 1 pump is enough per wash. I use the Take the day off balm first to remove makeup then follow with the 3 step.
I got this in Fair (which was the exact same as the soft shade.only slight difference!) I love it! goes on so smooth (I use UD wonder brush), color last all day and doesnt look fake or unnatural. I still use clear mascara to hold in place, and during summer ill use my shelaq but it works without those as well note: im an auburn/strawberry head with very faint blonde brows!
I thought this would be more like lash power formula since it only requires warm water to remove.but nope. its just like High Impact, which I dont like. brush is plushy and hard to use. plus the formula smudges on me. I prefer the Lash Power mascara.. also didnt see much notice to curl or lift.
I finally make the leap to this brush. as a long time cream eyeliner user, I cant believe I didnt buy this before now.. ugh. its an awesome brush! i love the liner end, its skinny but tapered enough and it glides on, and the smudge brush is fantastic! I had a smudge brush in a collection I got years ago that I threw out like a dummy and never been able to find a suitable replacement, and this has been able to take its place! the price is steep $32, but a good brush and proper care lasts a long time.
Love the color. I like it better than the other lipstick I have "rush" which is a light pink. however, it must be the darker the formula the nastier the taste. My tube of Rush doesnt have that much of a noticable flavor, but this one does. I got it in swap so not sure if thats maybe due to age (although these havent been out for long) or maybe UD has a batch of bad flavoring. too bad, the case is kinda cool and growing on me. Sticking with Clinique for a while since theirs is fragrance free and no taste!
