While browsing for new fall colors, I picked up a bottle of this stuff yesterday from my local base exchange. I paid $1.69, and I feel it was more than worth it! The color payoff is great. What you see in the bottle is what you get on your nails. The polish is opaque enough after just one coat, but I still went with two. Application is a breeze. The Megalast brushes are the perfect size for my nails. The formula glides on smoothly and leaves a shiny finish.
Polishes -New York Color - Long Wearing Nail Enamel - Pink Promenade Creme 109

For the price, this polish isn't bad. I really enjoy the bright color of this shade in particular. Deep pinks are usually what I tend to gravitate towards, so this was no exception. To be a bit critical, however, the finish (shine) fades after a couple of days, lessening the color's attractiveness. A clear coat would probably prevent that from happening, but I find that to be a bit of a hassle, which is why I probably won't be repurchasing.
Powder -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder - Sandstorm

I bought this because of the oiliness of my skin. Paired with my liquid foundation, this stuff does the trick for me to combat shine. I took one lippie off of my review for the packaging though. The lid does not stay put! Also, I would have preferred a mirror for easier touch-ups.
I don't use this as a highlighter; rather, I use this to set my foundation, and it seems to do an excellent job at that. I've read a few complaints about this powder being "chalky'" but I quite disagree. I feel like any powder will do that if you cake enough on your face. I do have a few issues, on the other hand. The lid doesn't stay in place too well... Also, I would have liked a mirror with this to make touch-ups easier.
Styling Products -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Hair Serum

Let me start off by saying that it's been awhile since I actually first tried this product (around 5 years). My hair used to be a lot frizzier than it is now. This stuff worked alright in reducing my hair's puffiness. It was nothing too noticeable though. Also, I found that I had to be careful around my root area; otherwise, my hair would feel weighed down and greasy. Like I mentioned before, my hair doesn't really get frizzy anymore; however, if it ever did get back to that point, I probably wouldn't go back to this.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Define-A-Line Eyeliner in Ebony Black

I like this eyeliner a lot, which is why I don't quite understand why the rating on this product is as low as it is... I apply it to my waterline, and for the most part, it lasts a really long time. Yes, it smudges a little, but nothing worth complaining about. I haven't had an eyeliner that doesn't! The only place I ever really need touching up is my corners, other than that, I'm set for hours on end. The formula is nice and creamy, the color is nice and dark the way I like it, and the price is reasonable. Best I've found at the drug store.
I love this mask! It does exactly as it claims. As an all over face treatment, I leave it on for as long as the packaging recommends, rinse off, and my skin is left feeling softer, and my pore size is left looking visibly reduced. As an overnight spot treat, I just dab a little bit on the affected area(s), and in the morning it's virtually gone! On a side note, the minty sensation is nice, but sick to thinner layers because I find that can be irritating.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

I really had high hopes for this product! I remember growing up, my mom always used this stuff, and of course, every little girl admires their mom's beauty. Well, when I finally started to wear makeup myself, I began trying other mascaras, but I had always wondered about this one... No more! Now, I know. Totally doesn't work for me!! The consistency is too thin and goopy. Not only does is do nothing for my volume OR length, but it also flakes off and smudges way too easily! It is affordable, and the packaging's cute, but that really doesn't matter when you take into account the product quality. The only good comment I have is in regards to its dark black color. Other than that, spend your money elsewhere!
Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - With Love by Hilary Duff

So, today's Christmas day, and my fiance bought me a bottle of this. I was a bit hesitant at first, since like others have said, it's a celebrity fragrance, but he liked it, and as soon as I tried it on, I did too! It's different than any other perfume I've tried. It's not too sweet, nor too floral or musky even. In one word? Sexy! I love it!!!
It's been awhile since I've tried this product... Probably about 4 years. This isn't to say I dislike this product, I was actually pretty pleased with it, although I feel like there are better glosses out there. I've owned it a couple of times, buying the same light pink in the picture above both times. Like others have said, I didn't really notice a significant difference in the plumpness of my lips after applying this product; however, I wasn't too upset, since my lips are naturally full. The price is OK. I think I spent $3. The color is minimal, but that's what I wanted. I didn't too much care for the cinnamon smell as others have brought up as well. Overall, not bad, but nothing spectacular.
One of my favorites! I definitely prefer sweeter scents. I always get compliments when wearing this.
I got this as a gift, and I really dread the smell. It's way too floarly for my taste, and probably better suited and intended for a much older woman.
I received this as a gift from my soon-to-be mother-in-law. She used to work at CVS, and so she has a lot of unused fragrances she likes to gift. I'm not sure if the scent has changed over that period of her not working there, or if it's supposed to smell the way it does, but it is just way to strong and musky. Not at all wearable, especially for someone my age.
I ventured out of my normal mascara one day to try this and was pretty disappointed with the results. I guess I noticed some added length, but it was nothing worth commending. I feel like any dollar store brand could have produced a similar outcome. My lashes were darker and just a little longer; they didn't look much better to me as when I started out.
I didn't really recognize much difference at all compared to the original formulation. I like it about as much. It doesn't clump and get the job done for volume and length.
