Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

I got this as a part of a set from the Sephora birthday gift, so I didn't pay for it. It is a pretty sheer rose lip balm. It is moisturizing and feels good on my lips. When I looked up the price for the full size, I nearly spat ice tea all over my laptop! $22.50 for a lip balm! Are you kidding me? That just boggles my mind! There are much cheaper dupes that are just as moisturizing and just as pretty. No way in @#$% will I buy this!
This is my HG acne spot treatment! For me, It works better than BP & SA. I use this when I feel one of those cystic acne pimples. I apply it at night with a cotton swab directly to the cyst & rub it in gently. It has a calming, soothing sensation, but it doesn't burn at all. After only 1 use it shrinks & drys up cystic pimples. I also use it to treat & heal erupted blemishes as well. IMO, the Drying Cream does a better job than the Buffering Lotion. It also doesn't flake off or burn like the Drying Lotion does. For me it also has slight concealing properties, but it isn't a concealer, so don't use it expecting it conceal . A tiny little bit of this stuff goes a long, long way. It is pricy for a spot treatment, but to me it's worth every penny, especially when I don't have to replace it very often. I will definitely keep buying it, & I highly recommend it!

I love this stuff. I have very oil skin, and this stuff is amazing! PROS: * Soaks up & controls oil like no other skincare product I know. * Calms & soothes acne/irritated skin. * Treats & masks redness. * Treats & prevents breakouts. * Can be used as a setting powder & mattifier. * Is cheaper than BE's Blemish Therapy & more product * A little goes a long way. * No scent at all..not even a medicated one. CONS: * Hate the puff that comes with it, so I just use a powder brush. * It doesn't have a sifter lock like BE's Click-Lock-Go, so can be a little messy. I don't recommend this for people with dry or even combo skin because it really does dry up the oil. It also contains talc, so if you're sensitive to talc, I wouldn't use this product. But it's perfect for my super oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. Also keep in mind this is not a concealer powder, it's a skincare product, so it won't conceal anything. It will only mask redness a little. Again, I simply love this stuff & it's one of my HG skincare products. I will continue buying it & I highly recommend it for people with oily, sensitive, acne prone skin.
This is my HG eyeliner. I have Black Brown, Charcoal, Bronze, Moss, Indigo, Teal Blue, Olive, and Raisin. The colors are simply gorgeous. They apply smoothly and last all day, and are waterproof. In fact, this is the only waterproof eye product that doesn't irritate my eyes. I have just one suggestion...a sponge blending tip. They are a little pricey for eyeliners, but they are usually on sale or BOGO. I love them and will definitely buy them again!
Powder -Sephora - Mineral Double Compact Foundation SPF 10

I really like this foundation. It has a dual sided sponge...a white one for light coverage and a black on for full coverage. I mainly use the dark side because I need full coverage. I use D10 Warm Ivory which is the lightest shade. It's kind of funny though, since according to Sephora D10 is warm-toned & I'm cool to neutral. It has a matte finish, which I like, but I have to really work with it because it can look chalky if not applied and blended properly. All in all, it's a good powder foundation and the price isn't too bad at $22. I like to alternate between this and Benefit Hello Flawless (which is my HG). I will probably purchase this again.
This is my HG cleanser! It's mild, non-medicated, non-drying, and non-greasy which is perfect for my oily/acne prone/sensitive skin. It not only cleanses, but it also removes makeup...even eye makeup without irritating my skin & eyes. I don't have to use a separate makeup remover. It leaves my skin feeling nice and clean. I have been using this for a long time & will continue to use it. I use the CVS dupe which is double the amount and cheaper.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

This is my new HG moisturizer! I bought the smaller tube of this on a whim while waiting in line at Sephora. And, boy am I glad that I did! I have very oily/acne prone/sensitive skin, and most moisturizers (even those for oily skin) make my face feel greasy. This doesn't. It's a very lightweight gel that absorbs quickly, and makes my face feel soft & hydrated. It also doesn't aggravate my sensitive/acne prone skin. It is pricey...more than I'm use to spending for a moisturizer. But, a little bit a long way, so it will be a long time before run out. I will definitely buy this again.
This is my HG l/s! It's a very pigmented beautiful shimmery mauve-pink shade. It has great coverage, but feels almost sheer. It's very moisturizing and leave my lips feeling soft. It also doesn't have an overpowering smell. It's only $1 and can be found at most dollar stores. I have been using L.A. Colors l/s for long time, and I will continue to use it.
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Application Face Brush

I have 3 of these that came with various BE sets that I bought. Sold separately, it too expensive for what it is. I tried using it with my BE Matte & Original foundations. It only gave slight coverage whereas the Handy Buki & Heavenly Face brushes give almost full coverage. It does make a good brush for finishing/setting powder & blush. It also feels very soft and isn't scratchy at all. But, since I already have 3 of these, I won't buy one on it's own.
Primer/ Corrector -Studio Gear - Prime Objective Skin Perfecting Face Primer
geniebelle6901 10/25/2011 12:33:00 PM
This is my HG primer! It makes my foundation go on smoothly and last longer. It also helps control oil and defuses imperfections. It is a little pricey, but it is simply the best face primer I have ever used. I will definitely keep buying it and highly recommend it!
I love this blush. It's a very pretty, shimmery, watermelon pink shade. It's just the right shade for my very fair skin...not to dark or too light. It's very smooth and not chalky like some blushes, and it blends easily. A little bit goes a long way for me, so it will last for a long time. The only think I don't like about it is the brush that comes with it. I just use a spare blush brush. It's also a little pricy, but I will definitely buy again!
I have been using witch hazel for years, and I love it. It's a great non-drying toner for my oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. It also has many other uses: * Cold witch hazel soaked cotton pads reduces eye puffiness * Antiseptic for cuts, scrapes, bug bites, etc. * Relieves sunburn pain * Degreases oily hair * Relieves scalp itch * Relieves hemorrhoid itching/burning * Relieves feminine itching (will not cure a yeast infection--only helps the itching) I just get the generic drugstore/dollar store brand that's less than $2 and will keep buying it!
My new HG foundation! It is hands down the best full coverage powder foundation I have ever used. I Love Me: Fair Ivory is a perfect shade match. It does a great job covering up redness and blemishes without feeling heavy. It truly does give me a flawless look that I really haven't been able to find with other foundations. The only complaint I have is that there's not a lot of product for the money, but I love the coverage so much, that I'll definitely purchase again
This stuff is simply awful! I tried on my cheeks and lips, and it looked like I took a bright pink magic marker to my face. It does have some staying power, but it fades to an ugly pink shade. I also found it hard to apply with out streaking. The price is outrageous for something that's nothing more than glorified food dye. I definitely won't buy this again.
I have finally found my HG blush! I love how it looks on me. It's a beautiful shimmery peachy-pink color that's not too dark or too light on my fair skin. Having said that, it is expensive for a blush, but worth it to me. I also don't like the packaging or brush for all the reasons other reviewers have stated. But, I love this product so much that this is not really an issue. I will definitely buy this again!
