I recieved a mini-size of this in a regieme kit. My primary eye concern is dark circles and after using this for months there was no improvement. The skin around my eye area felt more moisturized but I can achieve the same result with any moisturizer. This is one of those products that didn't help matters but didn't hurt either. Because I'd rather use an eye cream that would diminish my dark circles I won't repurchase.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Greed

UDPP is one of my HG products and I've tried all the shades, Greed's the last one I got to. I was expecting pigmentation along the lines of Sin or Eden, instead it's like the clear base of the original with sparse gold sparkles throughout. Very sheer. It's so sheer that there's not really a point. All of the benefits of the original formula are there (no creasing, vibrant, long lasting color, etc.) which is why I give this a 3, but the weak gold color is dissapointing. I don't know if maybe the color doesn't work with my skintone or I got a bad tube or what. I've tried layering it but it's so sheer that didn't help much. I won't repurchase.

Mascara -Femme Couture - total impact waterproof

The mascara runs out of the top of the tube when I put the wand back, making this very wasteful. It's never been stored any way besides an upright position, so I dont know how to stop it from happening. It is waterproof, and does hold a curl although it droops slightly. The brush does not do my lashes any favors. It's very sparse and makes my lashes clump together, giving the appearance of fewer lashes rather than more. Will be glad to try a new mascara.

Mascara -E.L.F. - Studio Line Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara

Doesn't hold a curl, isn't waterproof, isn't volumizing, and it clumps. It did add length so I guess it wasn't all bad. The amount of product is very small, around as much as a typical sample size. Not that I mind, because I'm looking forward to when this is used up and I can purchase a different mascara.

Masks -Korres - Pomegranate Cleansing Mask

Was really underwhelmed with this. I would use at night and immediately after use my skin felt cleaner and softer, but after months of use in conjunction with other Korres products in the Pomegranate Regimine kit I noticed an overall increase in breakouts. I liked the idea of using more natural indredients on my skin, but unfortunately I don't think they were potent enough. This product in particular I felt didn't really "do" anything, and for my skin-type I need a mask that's more active. For normal to oily skin it's probably fine, but those with blemish-prone skin won't get much use from this.

Mascara -Urban Decay - Cannonball

The most difficult part of my cruelty-free transistion has been finding a good, inexpensive, w/p mascara. I typically purchase high-end products but mascara was always one item I purchased from the drugstore. Unfortunately most of the cruelty-free d/s brands don't make one, or if they do, it never seems to be carried in the store. (Or it's WnW and their w/p mascara was terrible). UD is a brand I love, so I went ahead and spent $20 for this. It holds a curl in my lashes, is truly w/p, does not smudge all day long, and adds good volume and length. There are only two drawbacks. First, the lengthening fibers tend to flake off throughout the day and stick under my eyes and on the tops of my cheeks. It's noticable and a nuisance. Second, after years of using top quality drugstore mascaras, I can confidently say that the formula for this is not worth $20; however, the peace of mind from using a cruelty-free product is. Would I repurchase? Yes. But if I find a cheaper drugstore alternative that holds a curl, that's what I'll be switching to.

A fruity-floral that leans more on the floral side, with a strong rose note from opening to drydown. I don't usually like rose, with my chemistry it tends to smell overbearing and matronly, but with this it was well-balanced and fun. Wears well both day & night, and can go yearround. Lasts 4-5 hours which is better than a lot of recent perfumes. The only problem is I ran out of my bottle about a month ago and still don't feel compelled to repurchase. In fact the closest I'd come to repurchasing, because I like Katy Perry, would be trying Meow instead. My favorite rose perfume is still Givency Very Irresistible Sensual so I'll stick with that.

Moisturizers -Korres - Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer

I've been using this product for 2-3 months now and have noticed an overall increase in breakouts. It's not severe but it is noticably increased. It's a shame because when first applied this does mattify my skin and wear well under makeup. But I can't justify that day-to-day benefit (that a good setting powder can also provide) when the long-term result is more damaging to my skin.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Secret Wonderland

A light, sweet, berry fragrance. Despite that description it does not smell like Kool-Aid or Love Spell; it has a warmer, slightly floral tone to it to add some sophiscation. However, it's still a fairly straightforward sweet berry blend. Because it's so light and basic it's probably rare that anyone finds it overbearing or offensive, and it would be "safe" for gift-giving. But it's also... not very interesting. It's not a bad scent by any means, and is well done for what it is. But still, it's kinda... yawn.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Matte 903C Just Peachy

Being extremely fair-complected it can be difficult to find nude lipcolors for my skintone. Most nudes come out too brown or wash me out. Not this! It's the perfect peach-pink-beige mix. Pigmentation is great with just 1 coat. Being a pale matte color it highlights any flakiness so I moisturize very well before applying this. For being a matte it's not too drying. My favorite way to wear it is topped with WnW Glassy Gloss in 310a This Too Shall Glass for the PERFECT pigmented creamy peach lip. I've spent upwards of $30 on one lipcolor alone trying to get the shade these two make for less than $5. One of my favorite combinations! I will definitely be repurchasing.

Beautiful, opulent, jewel-toned purple. The liner equivalent of Flash e/s. Application is smooth, wear-time is long, color stays vibrant. The only drawback is that it's not waterline-friendly. Some of the 24/7 liners I can get away with tightlining - this isn't one of them. Still, the color is so beautiful I don't mind.

I love 24/7 liners but the pigmentation for Zero is very mediocre. The formula and application are great, but I have drugstore liners that are more pigmented than this. I'm looking forward to when it runs out so I can get Perversion.

I don't own many eyeliners because I prefer to line with shadows instead, but I love this pencil. The formula is super smooth and long-lasting, and the greenish-teal color is unique and beautiful. It's not a shade you see everyday. Reminds me of a peacock feather! Looks great with Stagedive glitter liner layered on top.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Milk

This is my first white shadow base and I'm glad I tried it because it really does make bright colors pop like nothing else. I have about 10 cream shadows that I coordinate with powder shadows to make them more vibrant, but as I run out of those I won't repurchase most of them. White makes the colors brighter and it's way more economical to have 1 brightening shade than tons of coordinating ones. So why the low rating? I found out I like a white base but not THIS white base. My biggest complaint is that this tugs like crazy. There's no way to get an even, smooth application with this applying straight from the pencil. Once I blend it out with my finger it's fine, but the tugging to get it on is wwwaaayyy too much! I want to stay wrinkle-free as long as possible - using a product like this doesn't help. This also creases very badly without a primer underneath (unlike the cream shadow bases I use). I'm talking, if I don't apply a primer first, this begins creasing before I've even finished applying shadow. I wish the formula for this was better because the color is amazing, but I can't repurchase because of the rough application. I think I'll look into the white Milani Shadow Eyez next.

This is very similar to VS Heavenly, but more sweet and less musky. I like Heavenly so I like this as well. I would've given it a 4 if it weren't for the lasting power, which is very poor, 2 hours tops. I would rather buy a product from Shakira, but because of how bad the weartime is and how similar it is to Heavenly, I'll repurchase Heavenly instead.
