I fell in love with it immediately upon first application out of the box. it spreads and blends like heaven and the coverage is the perfect dose for tired puffy eyes. I suffer from morning puffiness and so every morning after cleansing and moisturizing, I put this under my eye AND over my eyelids.. it feels soo nice too. I look forward to putting it on every morn' (= imo It can double up as an eyelid primer but I do use udpp just for the sake of it.. (if you see my review on that item.) Using this as my undereye concealer forever.. until further notice.

For reference, I am a pretty low maint. girl when it comes to putting on makeup daily. I love watching gurus and reading blogs on reviews and tutorials and maybe one day I will have the need to use all this info on my face one day.. but for the moment I just apply basic skincare (toner moisturizer serum etc) sun protection and mineral foundation a hint of subtle blush and SHEER wash of shimmer shadown and eyeliner. Of course when I DO go out I do apply the whole shebang but rarely.. This is one of those items that went viral with the makeup lovers and I was very enthusiastic to try it out (it was want over need BIG TIME). I guess it does work for those who loves experiementing with pigmented colored shadows and such but for girls like me, who just like neutral light washes of pretty gold or champagne etc its not a necessity. I reach for it for the sake of the money I bought it with but I don't really feel like it does much for just an everyday eyeliner girl. This is more like a pair of louboutins *slight exaggeration* , you can live with out it but i guess its nice to have it for the sake of "having it". (this goes for girls like me)
Mascara -Kiss Me - HEROINE MAKE long and curl mascara (black)

What can I say....but LOVEEEE!! This is def. my HG mascara. I have tried all the mascaras that was supposed to be good for my asian lashes (short, thick, fall straight) such as maybelline full n soft, covergirl lash blast (this falls 2nd), lancome courbe? virtuso, estee lauder, dior show.. but this .. my fellow chicas is what my eyelashes were made for. This holds my curl THE WHOLE DAY from the moment I curl and coat my lashes with this until the end of the day when I wash it off with eye makeup remover. This paired with my shu uuemura lash curler, allowed me to confidently get my falsies and throw in the back. I always had short lashes (not SHORT SHORT but def not long or noticeable w.o mascara) and after this I continuously get asked if I'm 1) wearing fake lashes 2) pretty lashes, not too dramatic but doll like. If I had to say something bad about this is that it last way too ridiculously long.. (pro and con at the same time ironically.) because when the time comes to take this thing off.... damn its a pain the bum. I have to use up 2 cotton balls soaked in makeup remover (up & up by target dupe for neutrogena oil freee) and even after deepcleansing and reg. wash it still leaves some remains. But I'm willing to go through it (which is a MIRACLE because I am the MOST laziest girl you'll ever meet...) as well as driving all the way down to torrance (where they have mitsuwa or marukai = the japanese stores where they sell this) for they do not carry this in my town. All in love it, hate it for the littlest reason, but will end up keeping it (0=
I liked it. It was soft and full, just like its name but that was the reason why I didn't like it (oddly enough). It was very black, which was a plus but it was too.. wet? It dried pretty slow.., so for me being an asian girl with little lid space it smudged right on the line above the lashes as soon as i forgot to keep my eyes closed for... who knows how long I'm supposed to. It isn't BAD though but not great. I had high hopes for this being my HG from the reviews. It does look very natural and for my thick but short, fall-straight-down lashes it just separated without much curl or length. I would prefer the covergirl lash blast over this or my HG kiss me long and curl mascara (japanese brand) if you are asian with lashes like mine.... you need to hurry and get one because it holds lengthens curls like PARADISE.
Okay so first of all I LOVE THE SMELL.. maybe its just me but the smell reminds me of this breezy afternoon and fresh laundry hung on the strings and the smell of the clothes... lol. its hard to explain but Idk why i just love it. The conditioning is okay, not terrific but I love it that its not greasy or heavy. just light weight conditioning, if your looking for that go for it. I dont know for people with reallllllly dry, crack lips though.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
gelastyle 2/8/2009 7:39:00 PM
I rated it 3 for the price since regularly it is pricey (5) but I got it as a sample from the class case. I thought it worked really well in terms of hydration. my skin did feel smooth in the morning since i was using it as a night moisturizer. but i realized that I had gotten small bumps on my cheeks which never had before and white heads on my forhead. I continued to use it doubting that this was the problem but now I think im gonna stop for awhile and see if it clears my skin. ill update soon.
Cleansers -Aveeno - Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser
gelastyle 1/22/2009 11:08:00 PM
HORRIBLEEE! I was so disappointed... The first two days, I was so surprised how it made my skin look "clear-er & more paler(in a good way)" and then BAM. break out nation. I never broke out like that in such a long time... The smell was okay and packaging okay. the product? absolutely preposterous! Never never never again. I chose 4 for price cause it aint worth the money. NO bang for the Buck.
Conditioner -Neutrogena - triple moisture deep recovery hair mask
gelastyle 1/20/2009 12:41:00 AM
I read about this product in numerous magazines and decided to try it with GREAT hopes of repairing my hair (it got pretty damaged after my perm/color) and..................drumroll................. NADA. It did absolutely nothing for my hair! I'm actually quite surprised seeing so many good reviews here. My hair was actually softer and less frizzier when I didn't use it. This is what I learned; to use an expensive but worthwhile treatment mask.. never never never this one again.. I don't even know how I'm going to finish it. Im giving it a two for the smell which doesnt even last after the wash >:(
