Blech. I really am not crazy about LORAC's line of lip glosses. The consistency is messy, goopy, but the worst is THE SMELL. Ugh. I so wanted to like the clear gloss, particularly, but just could not handle the taste and smell. That, alone, is enough reason to steer clear.

This is a very, very good line of blushes. My favorite is in Soft Pink--it's so naturally beautiful, easy to apply, and has such staying power. It's a little on the expensive side ($22, I think), but I really enjoy the blushes so much, I don't mind.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

I just don't get it. What's the big deal about this mascara? It really doesn't do much for my lashes, which have looked so much better with other mascaras. For one, the wand just seems too small, and very little mascara comes off of it to cling to the lashes. It just looks like I don't have mascara on at all (and not in the good way), which seems entirely pointless. Boo. I was disappointed.

OMG, this stuff is a God-send! For ME, anyway. I've tried virtually every mascara out there, and this stuff takes the cake, in my humble opinion. People ALWAYS compliment my eyelashes, because they look soooooo long and gorgeous. Some people (my own mother included) have asked me if I wear false eyelashes, because they just can't believe how long Voluminous makes them. I can't say enough about this little miracle worker. GORGEOUS.

Oooh, I LOVE this stuff!! It's such a great thing to have--it works like a charm, looks adorable, smells great, and is sooo cheap! Honestly, this stuff stayed on my lips for over 5 hours, and left them so soft and cared for, without making me feel like I was rubbing Crisco all over them (ahemm...Kiehl's Lip Balm...). If you don't have this little tin in your bag right now, run out and scoop it up!

I do NOT understand the hype on this product. It's nothing but Vaseline--if not greasier, and virtually does nothing for my lips. It doesn't smell good, feel good, nor work well. I'm passing on this one.

Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Super Rich Conditioner

I'm crazy about this stuff. I wish it were a little cheaper so that I could use it ALL THE TIME, but still manage to use it about 3-4 days a week. My hair is thick and wavy and colored, too, so I'm big on conditioners, and this one is soooooo rich and luxurious--I really feel like I'm doing my hair a favor by using it. I LOVE the smell (which lingers long after), the texture, and the fact that I don't have to use too much to get it to work. For some, I could see how it might weigh down their hair, but for me, it's just what the hair stylist ordered.

Mmmm...I LOVE this stuff. It's great for my always-blowdried hair, leaves the ends soft and protected, and smells UNBELIEVABLE!Great stuff!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Tinted Lipglass

If you're into shiny lips, this product is #1. It lasts forever, too, because you don't have to put on much for super-shine. The only problem I ever have is when it's windy out, because my hair gets stuck to the lipglass, but it's a small price to pay for the look!

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

Personally, I love this minimalistic product. It's very gentle on my super-sensitive skin, and also works as a great eye-makeup remover. If you're looking for a super scrub, this is not the product for you, but if you want a cleanser that is soft and luxurious and leaves your skin baby smooth (especially if you leave a thin layer on overnight), Cetaphil is a prayer answered.

Ugh...I don't understand why anyone would wear this. I had such high hopes for it, but it turned out to be difficult and not even flattering. The only times I've ever given in and worn it have been when the weather is so hot that no makeup but this will stick around. Personally, it made me look clownish, with bright red cheeks (that must be immediately blended if you don't want blotches and streaks) and lips that looked like I had sucked on a cherry popsicle (not the best look for me). Boo. Hiss. I was disappointed.

This lipstick is GORGEOUS! I have received so many compliments when I've worn it that I've had to stop wearing it as often so as to make wearing it more special! It does look different on everyone, but honestly, I don't see how it could look bad on anyone. I need to stock up on this staple lipstick, especially since for the quality, the price is outstanding!

Love, love, LOVE this! Orgasm is such a beautiful color; just the perfect mix of color and sheerness. Definitely gives you "the glow." If you're looking for something a little stronger, color-wise, I suggest layering Orgasm over another blush (I like Nars' Mata Hari), which comes out beautiful.

I'd heard so much about this product (Kevyn Aucoin and Oprah's rave) that I really expected more out of it than just the pretty packaging. The pencil itself was too chubby for me to be precise, and the color just did not stick well. After a few hours, I had a smudgy look, and not the good kind of smudge, either. The pencil lasts forever, though, but that's probably because I don't use it very much!
