I really love this makeup towelettes. It wipes off all traces of makeup off effectively. My skin feels really clean after and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The cloth itself gently exfoliate and was not harsh on my skin unlike other one I've tried. By far the best makeup wipes I used so far (better than neutrogena, olay, clean, burt's bee - although this is my second favorite)
This bb cream is really silky and easy to blend. The coverage is light to medium but you can build it up without looking cakey. I had to use powder on top to set it otherwise my skin would look really oily which is the only down fall for me.
Moisturizers -MyChelle - Oil Free Grapefruit Cream

I discovered this product at whole foods in search for a natural product that doesn't contain chemicals. I must say I have been really enjoying this product. This product really keeps my oil under control and face mattified throughout the day. As for blemishes it keeps them at bay. Overall this product does everything it promises. It doesn't contain much product for which only has 1 oz but one small pump is all that is needed to cover the entire face. I will be looking into other products in mychelle's skincare line.
Toners -Thayers - Rose Petal Alcohol Free Witch Hazel

This is my second time buying thayers toners and I love it! I first tried the lemon kind and was alright but this rose one is really great. Its very hydrating when applied. I can even wear this stuff alone without any moisturizer and it will keep my skin well balanced. I also love the elegant feel it gives with the rose scent. Its really affortable and the bottle will last you a long time. I can't say enough goid stuff about this toner.
BB Cream -Skin79 - Vital BB Cream SPF50++ Hot Orange Label
gee1ny 11/3/2012 11:23:00 PM
Overall i like this bb cream. It has medium to full coverage which i like. Its a good on the go base makeup since it has SPF already. It has a slight scent like baby wipes but it goes away over time. Only downside is that it is tad bit light for my NC20 skintone and it only comes in one shade which is the only reason why I wouldnt repurchase.
I recently had to deal with extreme dry patches including around the eyes. This eye cream made dry skin disappear the first day of use. You can really rely on this product for moisturizing the eye area. As far as dark circles and puffiness, I havent experience a huge difference yet.
Im really liking this foundation. It feels lightweight on the skin with buildable coverage. Packaging is very good quality although i prefer the bottle type with a pump. I would purchase it again when im done with it :)
BB Cream -Etude - Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream
gee1ny 1/7/2012 5:22:00 AM
I've used the Sheer glowing skin version of this bb cream in the past and remembered that I liked it very much. It had a right amount of coverage and gave my face a fresh dewy look which i like. When I was visiting Seoul recently I decided to get another one but in a different kind this time. I decided to get the 'sheer shiny skin' version which was a relatively a newer one... It has shimmer in the product which most etude house products have in their "shiny" or glowy skin products but I found this to be wayy too shimmery. I even found some glitter particles that are visible which is a bit strange to be all over the face. This product feels more like a base to me since it barely has any coverage, although it does seem to even out skin tone. It would make a descent base to wear under foundation to achieve a 'dewy' look. It feels really greasy when first applied but It wasn't too bad throughout the day. I would purchase bb creams from etude house but choose another kind instead.
I first tried this product at a friend's house and loved it. It really had a elegant after feel which was very pleasant... so I decided to get one on my own but strangely it didn't feel the same way it did when I first tried it. Though it's alcohol free, It stung my face a little bit but it didn't break me out or anything.. other then that I don't really have much to say about this toner. I put it aside for now but I will be trying it out again in the near future to decide if it's good or not.. but from the first look of it I don't think i will be repurchasing this one.
Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Oil -Free

I was actually really disappointed at this product at first so I put it aside for a while and recently started using it again and have grown to like it. The thing that really threw me off at first was the smell of it. it has a strange plastic-y smell to it, but once it's applied on the skin it seems to disappear. I like that it isn't silicone base like most primers out there. the creamy texture makes my skin soft and creates a nice base for foundation to adhere on to. It works MUCH better with a base applied over it, then applying the foundation. I usually use it with my shu umeura mousse base and it helps my make up stay on for a long long time. though it's an 'alright' product for me, i still want to try the other versions of this primer.
I never had problems with acne before except for occasional blemishes now and then but i have been breaking out pretty badly recently. I've heard great things about their 3 step anti-blemish system (cleanser, toner & the moisturizer) on major magazines and tv shows so I decided to try it out. It's been almost 3 months using this product and my blemishes did not clear up one bit and actually increased in numbers along with tiny bumps all over my forehead! The toner has a very strong alcohol smell (I think all clinique toners do anyway) and the moisturizer also had a slight chemical smell to it also.. I think that might be the problem since my skin is a bit on the sensitive side. The only good thing about the product is that i did not dry my skin out like other acne products do. Now I'm in a search for more natural products that will suit my skin better.. This might have worked for some but it made no difference in my skin and made matters worse..
Toners -Avene - Cleanance - Anti-Shine Purifying Lotion
gee1ny 5/4/2011 8:31:00 PM
This toner/lotion combo really made a difference in my skin. My skin was in the worst condition after using the wrong skincare products, it helped regulate my skin's hydration balance and minimized pores. It mattifies while hydrating the skin and leaves a fresh clean feeling. It is slightly scented which is very light and soothing. I am never dissapointed with Avene products and i will definately repurchase!
I thought it'd be easy to use since it's in a marker form but oh boy was I wrong. If it was a thin marker, i think it would have worked out but the Marker tip is too thick to 'line' my eyes.. so I tried using it for tight-lining but the formula is not waterproof and erased off literally in minutes.. I think it might be better off used as a regular marker..
Powder -Shiseido - Majolica Majorca Pressed Pore Cover
gee1ny 5/4/2011 8:11:00 PM
This powder is super silky and smooth. I like to wear this alone on my bare skin (after applying moisturizer) or primed skin on days i don't feel like wearing any makeup. It makes my skin feel really soft and does it's job of some what hiding enlarged pores and is long lasting. Only thing is that it's very pale and really matte - it'd be nice to see a hint of illuminating properties in the product in the future since i feel like it's too matte to wear it over foundation personally.. The packaging the super cute and can be refilled which is always nice.
I bought this when i was visiting Korea. The sales lady was super helpful so I ended up buying a bunch of stuff from innisfree, Mostly the Olive Series and the Green tea series. The olive real line was too oily for my skin and clogged my pores but the green tea line helps hydrate my dry skin pretty well and didn't break me out. I get dry patches on my skin now and then so I apply the green tea serum and the green tea leave in night mask (which i LOVE) at night and my skin becomes moisturized and supple the next morning. The only cons are that it doesn't absorb all the way in to the skin- you can kind of feel it on your skin even after it dries and it tends to ball up when i use it with my other skincare products. The scent - I'm not a fan of scented skincare products, not that it smells bad or anything, it actually smells really nice but a little heavy for my preference.. overall it is worth a try if you're looking for inexpensive serums.
