Primer/ Corrector -Laura Geller - Spackle Cream

I bought this one to replace Benefit Porefessional (another review). This one is a true primer/pore filler which is what I was looking for. My foundation still melts off by the end of the work day, so my next step is to probably change foundations. :( This is a good product and is reasonably priced.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - The Porefessional

I bought this thinking it was more of a foundation primer, but it really is a balm. I have very oily, acne-prone skin and I wanted something to "hold" my makeup so it didn't melt off by the end of the day. A consultant at Ulta told me this was by far the best, and it felt wonderful on (that was in the 5 minutes I sat in the store). Under my foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear Light) it didn't make a bit of difference. It gave a bit of matte finish but not what I thought I was getting. My bad.

Primer/ Corrector -DHC - Velvet Skin Coat

This product is a lifesaver for those of us with large pores. If you have oily skin, it won't take that away though now they have a non-oily matte formula of the same type of product. It goes on super smooth and fills in pores so your makeup covers perfectly. One tube lasts forever.

Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Herbatint - Permanent Haircolour Gel

Just tried this product for the first time. My hair was not in the best shape going into this color (dry from going brown to blonde back last July!) so I wanted to spare as much more damage as possible and still cover the few grays I'm getting. 1) the smell was wonderful compared to any others I've used 2) the display at the store said to buy 1 shade lighter than you normally do which I did and the color is great. My hair does not feel any worse (dryness) than it did before coloring. I think this product is good -- if my opinion changes I'll post another time. It is a bit expensive, but I was using John Frieda which is the same price but actually made my scalp get bloody patches (though color is super). Worth a try!

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear LIGHT Foundation SPF10
geb910 1/28/2012 5:37:00 PM
I have tried almost all brands of liquid foundation from drug store to dept. store. My most recent brand is Clinique Even Better which I've used for a couple years. By lunchtime it melts off the T-zone area of my combination skin. I've even started using primer but no luck. I read reviews on Estee Lauder and went to the counter to give it a try. They suggested Double Wear LIght Intensity 2 which was a perfect match. So far this stuff is great and stays on all day with minimal shine by the end of the day. It feels very light and looks good!! Update after 10 months of use: It started out great -- not showing oil or melting off. Now after months of use I'm back to the same place as I was with my previous Clinique foundation. I have hormonal acne and oil skin so I'm hoping that adding dermatologist treatment will get me back on track with this foundation since I really like it.

I have really oily skin so thinking of using oil cleanser scared me. This stuff is wonderful!! Best makeup remover ever and leaves skin soft but not oily.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Epionce - Renewal Lite Facial Lotion

Though hard to find and a bit expensive this is the best moisturizer I have ever used. My Dermatologist recommended this line, and I got mine through skincarerx.com. The "Lite" version is just right as I have combination skin. Great stuff and nice packaging!!
