Yes, it definitely works best with khaki/beige clothing and I put on a ring which has similar colours in it - looks great together. I've only tried it once so far and had trouble getting even coverage with two coats - I either need three or need to improve my brush skills! I don't think I will repurchase (tho may change my mind), as it's not really my usual colour and will only look good when I wear the right colour clothing. As far as green nail polish goes, this must be one of the best colours. Definitely suits my skin tone.

The best primer I've tried. It was recommended when I purchased the Bella Pierre mineral make up, but I resisted because it was so expensive and I had a few other primers already at home. However, eventually gave in, and I'm glad I purchased. It's so easy to apply - the consistency is perfect and it feels fresh and pleasant. I've reduced one lippie because it's so expensive and also because although the packaging looks smart (similar to Chanel products), the top can be a bit awkward to close. It's in a jar shape, so be careful to keep it hygienic. A little goes a long way, so maybe it's not as expensive as it seems when you first purchase. I think it's worth the extra money - seems a cut above other primers. You may be able to get it at a reasonable price online.

Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey

I've only given this a 3 although I do like it and find I am wearing it now nearly every day - easy to apply and comfortable to wear, and a pleasant soft pinky brown colour. However, my main gripe is the packaging, even though I notice it scores quite well generally with other reviewers for packaging. I haven't had it long and already the cap has cracked slightly. Also, I don't know if the name of the lipstick was originally on the side, but if so, it has completely disappeared already, and there is nowhere on the product that reminds you of the make and title. Only the colour name and shade still appears clearly on the base. So if I were to forget where I bought this, and that it was a Revlon product, then it would be annoying in future if I wanted to repurchase and had forgotten what it was! I'm sure this can happen if you own a lot of lipstick products and sometimes stop wearing a particular one for a while, to return to it later on. Apart from that, I think it's an excellent lip gloss/stain and good value, comparing well with Clinique chubby sticks.

This is for the eau-de-Toilette - I used this years ago, and when I saw it at a really good price in the airport duty free (wandering around with time to spare due to a delayed flight - an inducement to spending more money!), I decided to re-purchase. Couldn't remember why I stopped using it before. Now I've been reminded! I like the fragrance initially, but as with a recent previous reviewer, it wears off after a short while on me. So it seems like a waste now, even though the price was good.

Loose Powders -Unlisted Brand - Bella Pierre - mineral powder

I haven't been using it for long, so may need to revise the review. It's lovely to apply, especially with the Bella Pierre Kabuki brush, despite getting a bit powdery and messy in the container - but I guess they all do that when you apply with a brush. Haven't tried yet with the pad that is supplied, which fits inside the compact. I felt a bit concerned before using it, since a few reviewers have said that it sits heavy and enlarges their pores, and also that the ivory looks a bit masklike. The salesgirl in the store was very persuasive that ivory was the right colour for me, and I thought it looked rather pale. Anyway, it doesn't look as pale and masklike as I expected - there is some warmth in it, and the colour is fine once I have applied some blush or bronzer, or put it over a tinted moisturiser. I have not given it a 5 star because I do suspect that it does in fact enlarge my pores and fine lines somewhat - though I may be just imagining it. I'm in the older age bracket, so maybe it is more suitable for younger skin. But I'm loving using it so far and don't regret purchasing it, and especially the kabuki brush as well - it feels so soft and suits the texture of the powder so that it goes on very smoothly. I got these products cheaper online than from the store, but I don't know if those prices will last online. At full price, it is indeed expensive. AN UPDATE - after using this for a while, I realise that it really does pay off if you use a good primer underneath. I think that solves the problem of it appearing to enlarge pores and emphasising fine lines in more mature skin. I've just ordered the Bella Pierre primer - don't really need it as I have a few others at home, but it sounds really good.

I love this. It's my current favourite, and it must be good because I've used it more than I've used any other perfume in the past. It's not too strong and heady, and doesn't give me a headache like some of them. I first tried it when a salesgirl sprayed it on me in the airport duty free. I resisted the temptation to buy it (and they did have it on a good offer), but I liked it so much once it was on that I ended up buying it on holiday, and had to pay more. I must admit that I haven't had lots of obvious compliments when I wear it (as I have done with Clinique Aromatics and my Kenzo one - perhaps it is more subtle), but I love it, and anyone who has smelt it straight from the bottle, has said how lovely it is.

I can't understand the really bad reviews, as I find this a pleasant foundation to use, and it looks good on (mature skin, dry to combination). I bought it after trying a sample of colour 03. Although the colour initially looked too deep, I found it flattering, and felt it would be nice for winter wear. The colours are indeed quite strange - they all seem quite deep and highly pigmented. There also may be some confusion understanding the colour numbers. At the top of the box, mine says 1.5. This is not the colour/shade, but refers to skin type, e.g. 1.5 means 'very dry to combination'. The shade is elsewhere on the box. I first purchased shade 02, as the salesgirl recommended that for me rather than the 03. However, on getting it home, I realized that 02 wasn't paler on me than 03 as I had expected, just a different shade - perhaps pinkier. I really can't figure out the shades, but I took it back and changed it for no. 3, which suits me in the duller winter weather, and for evening wear. So, pleased overall with it. As others have said, I would prefer a pump bottle. I've ticked that I wouldn't purchase it again - but at this stage I don't really know. I expect that it's not going to become an all-time favourite with me, so it's likely that I won't repurchase, but will continue to use and enjoy this one.

Lips -Clinique - High Impact Lip Colour in Plum Nude

I bought this originally because it has some sun protection in it, and it has become one of my three staple lipsticks. It's the one I carry round all the time in my handbag, to touch up whatever lipstick I put on first thing in the morning. If it's hot and dry, I also add a bit of Clinique's Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 over the top. So my lipstick routine (when I stick to the routine, which isn't all the time!), is Clinique's Sweet Honey Different Lipstick over a filed-in pinky/brown lipliner, followed up during the day when I'm out, with the Plum Nude High Impact. The Plum Nude colour is quite subdued but flattering on me (I think!), and difficult to describe as it's not quite like it looks in the tube. I find it just right for daytime/outdoor use. For info, my third staple lipstick is a Laura Mercier one - 'Plum', a fairly soft plum/rose which I use for evenings and dressing up as it gives me a richer pigmented colour, but not too red or bright, with a slightly sparkly finish.

Powder -Guerlain - Parure SPF 20 Powder Foundation

I bought this as a replacement for Prescriptives Flawless pressed mineral powder, as Prescriptives stopped trading and I was desperate for a replacement which would be as good. However, I am disappointed. It is expensive and the packaging is lovely - however, I'm not interested in the beautiful gold case (which I find quite cumbersome and not easy to open)- I want something more compact and lighter to pack for air travel and holidays. I don't like the sponge as much as the thinner round applicator I had with Prescriptives, and a brush makes far too much powdery mess - I prefer to use a sponge/powder puff applicator. Also, although Parure looks lovely on me when I first apply it, it doesn't seem to have any staying power, and when I wipe off my make up at the end of the day, there's hardly anything left. This didn't happen with the Prescriptives. I have said that I will buy it again, but that's only if I can't find anything better, or any way to get hold of the Prescriptives product from the USA, where I believe it might still be available (though not to me trying to order it from the UK!).

I haven't had this long enough to be sure yet of my rating. I bought it on a whim while lingering in the Duty Free shop in Tel-Aviv. It was expensive, and I'm not sure I got a good 'duty free' bargain. I bought it because the colour seemed perfect, which doesn't often happen with me. After buying it, I read the inserted leaflet and realized that as a 'mature' woman I should have purchased the partner foundation which is meant for more mature and drier skin. I was unable to change it, so I'm hoping it will still suit me as long as I use it with a good moisturiser. It looks good on, but nothing out of the ordinary. The colour is fine, and it is supposed to have good skincare properties. I'd be interested to read more reviews on this and the partner foundation for drier skins, which is in a bottle (this one is in a tube). The tube is small, so I didn't give it a higher rating because of the cost.

I love the velvety feel of this, and so far it's my favourite foot cream. I still don't feel that it compares with a good quality body buttercream, such as the Covent Garden Sanctuary 'Kyphi' (which leaves my feet as 'soft as a baby's bottom' according to a chiropodist I visited). But as a dedicated foot cream, I haven't found any better. I don't however have particularly rough dry skin, so can't answer for it's effectiveness on really crusty feet!

This colour is not sheer, neutral or peachy on my nails. After two coats (applied by a manicurist) it is a streaky milky pink which doesn't suit my skin tone. Feel I wasted my money, and can't wait to take it off - but it's staying on quite well and having paid to have it done, I'm leaving it for a few more days!

Treatments -Decleor - Aromessence Neroli

I have some concern about Neroli oil, hence the fact that I won't purchase, altho I would love to continue using it. I was given a free sample following a Decleor facial, and I love it. I love the smell and the lovely effect it has on my skin. I'm also convinced that if I put it on at night, it helps me sleep better. But (and it's a big But), I think that it may be the cause of some headaches that I've had. Has anyone else had experience of this? After the Decleor facial itself (using mainly Neroli products), I felt extremely relaxed, so much so that I was knocked out for a day afterwards, as if I'd had a sleeping pill. I then got sharp stabbing pains in my head over a period of a couple of days. Since then, I've used the little free sample they gave me of the neroli oil (and a little goes a long way), but every now and then I get a less painful version of the previous headache, and I don't know if it's due to the Neroli or not. I have looked online and asked around, but I haven't heard of anyone else having this reaction to Neroli. If you have heard of this, please let me know!

This is my favourite exfoliator. I find it expensive though, as there isn't a lot of it in the tube, especially if you spread it thickly. Contrary to what some other reviewers say, I find it best to remove when it has dried on the skin, and not when damp/wet. The bits you rub off are a bit messy, but strangely I find it really satisfying and enjoyable to use! It does make my skin smooth and radiant. I give it a 4, not 5, because I would prefer more product in the tube. The reason for the tube being fairly small may be because if you don't use it much and keep the tube more than several months, the cream can deteriorate and dry up in the tube, so you would then get a lot of wastage. UPDATE - since my first review, they have changed the packaging, and it now appears to be a larger tube (though I can't be sure of this - it might just be thinner and longer!). But I prefer this packaging, and am continuing to use it. I've had no problem with the product drying up as previously, even though I keep it a long time (don't exfoliate frequently).

I can only add my agreement to Seramadis's review - I would say the same, almost word for word. Only difference is the colour I chose. I couldn't decide between two shades, and bought no. 33 Beige Naturel, which seemed slightly darker than the other I was considering (which I think was no.31 Beige Clair). No 33 is fine for me, but I may still purchase no.31 sometime. I'd like to compare this product with YSL brush foundation, and I have a feeling that the YSL would have a better quality brush - but as I haven't tried it, I don't know! UPDATE I eventually splashed out on the YSL, but I wasted my money as I prefer the Bourjois! It took me ages to find the right shade in the YSL, and in the end it still wasn't quite right. I still use the no.33 Beige Naturel in Bourjois, but the YSL lies unused. The brush gets quite messy and squashed from use and from catching it against the lid when closing, but I'm prepared to put up with that.
