I went to Bed Bath and Beyond in search of the popular "Ballet Slippers" because I needed a neutral color for an upcoming interview. It was sold out of course, so I browsed the other neutral light pink shades. My boyfriend actually helped me choose this out of 3 others I was considering! I love this color! I usually wear more vivid colors but this one is just growing on me! I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. It goes with everything and makes a great clean, polished look. I put on 3 coats and then a top coat of Orly Sec N Dry and it lasted all week with no chips! The only reason I had to take it off was to repaint my fast growing nails! Will definitely buy again if I ever run out!

This is my current HG top coat. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond to pick up a neutral NP color for an upcoming interview. I decided to get a top coat there as well because I was running low on what I used to use. The lady restocking polishes suggested this. I put 3 coats of the color I was using and then a coat of this. It dried my nails surprisingly fast and left a beautiful shine! I got so many compliments on how nice my nails looked (how healthy they looked, how shiny they were, and what top coat I was using). My nails didn't chip at all! A week later they still looked as great as they did the first day, the only reason I had to take it off and paint another coat was because my nails grow ridiculously fast and you could see unpolished nail! I will definitely continue to buy this. I'm very happy with it. (:
Powder -Estee Lauder - Double Matte Oil-Control Pressed Powder

I received this as a gift and while I don't have really oily skin and haven't used a powder in almost a year, I find that I do like this. I apply it with a brush over my Stila One Step and it blends beautifully, it makes my face look almost flawless, like it's been airbrushed. I love the big blue compact and the mirror is great. I'm not quite sure yet if this is a must have for me, but when and if it ever runs out - I only use a small amount over my foundation - I will probably considering re-purchasing.
I have never really been into liquid eyeliners, I've always been a cream fan. I feared it dripping and getting into my eyes or dripping on my face... A friend applied it on me in high school but her application was more like covering most of my fairly small half-asian eyelids and saying she wasn't used to drawing such a small line... >_< Suffice it to say, I had pretty much given up on liquid liners! I still loved the look and longed to try it... I recently got this through a swap and wow! I'm definitely going to have to switch. I love this product! It draws a smooth, even line, with no drip or mess! You can make it as finely thin as you want or thicken if needed. Makes doing a winged liner easy peasy. It lasts great all day and doesn't smudge or flake. No more jars and brush, just this amazing pen! I would definitely recommend this. Very satisfied. (:
When I was in middle school my neighbor's Mom was having a yard sale and selling off tons of her nail polishes so I was able to get this and other Chanel polishes for free! This was my absolute favorite nail polish and I always had gotten compliments on it. I'm so bummed to find out that it is now discontinued. Bring it back Chanel! Please. (:

I admit I bought this on impulse purely because of the name. (I'm a big Eric Clapton fan) The color is super pretty however, since I bought it, I have only ever used it once. I tend to stick to neutrals. Suffice it to say, I won't be repurchasing as this will most likely last forever lol.
I love wearing very natural looking makeup so I don't really stray from neutral shades. After seeing so many reviews popping up on the homepage about this, I decided I had to give it a try. Of course, it was sold out everywhere! I signed up for the UD and Sephora mailing lists and luckily, about 2 days later UD got them in stock so I jumped on that! This is a wonderful palette. I find myself being able to use all the colors and I always get compliments on how pretty my e/s looks.I wish it still came with the eyeliner as I already have more than enough brushes! The palette is a little pricey, but well worth it. I will definitely repurchase whenever it runs out (which will prob be a while!)
I bought this with high hopes. A mascara that lasted 4 days?! I was intrigued! I searched every Walmart for 60 miles looking for this, then I finally found it, and it was the last one! I applied it and wow, what a mess! It made my lashes look really spidery and a lot of it kept getting on my eyelid. It didn't curl, lengthen or add volume, just made them look spidery and black. So if you're looking for a mascara, this doesn't really work too well as one. I could see this working as just a tint for lighter lashes if that's what you're looking for... I already have dark lashes so I just wanted mascara. I'm bummed that this was not what I had expected.
I bought this intrigued by the photos on ads I had seen! I wanted my lashes to look like that! However, I was disappointed. The formula seemed very wet and my lashes were clumping together! I ended up giving this to a friend who wanted to try it. Still in search of my HG mascara...

My new HG! I don't normally wear any color on my lips during the day, just Blistex to keep it moisturized. Lately I've been wanting to try something with color, but nothing that was too out there. I picked this up thanks to the suggestions of tiffanysdream and prolix! I LOVE this product. It looks very natural, when I put it on, I can tell I'm wearing something different but it looks like it would be my normal lip color. It's not as moisturizing as I had hoped but I just put a little Blistex on under and then a swipe of this and I'm good to go! I feel like this is the beauty product I have been missing all my life! I'm glad I got this, it is exactly what I was looking for. (:
Makeup Brushes -Sephora - pointed liner eyeliner brush # 17

I bought this to use with my Stila Smudge Pot and I have to say it's a fantastic brush! My eyes are on the smaller side so I have to be very precise to not get too thick of a line. This brush does the trick! Well worth the $11. (:
I've never been a big blush fan. When I was younger, I had this Aunt that caked it on so much she looked like a clown so I feared blush! Well, everyone I knew kept raving about this so I had to try it. I like this color a lot! It always makes me look more awake for some reason. It's subtle and pretty on me. I wish it were a little less glittery though. This has inspired me to check out more Nars blushes!
I got this mascara in a Stila set from Costco. I only wore it once because I needed Waterproof mascara and this was all I had on hand. It was very wet and clumped my lashes together. Didn't add any volume, length, or curl. I wish it had been better, as I usually like most Stila products!
Pressed Powders -Clinique - Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder

This used to my HG. I wore it in Stay Honey. It's great for very light coverage which is all I need. However, if you apply too much, it can look cakey and fake. I loved the case and the big mirror, however I didn't like the sponge and used a brush instead. The price is great compared to my current foundation, and I would repurchase if I hadn't found something I liked better! Definitely worth a try if you're looking for light coverage!
This was ok. I purchased it in a set at Costco mainly because I wanted the brush it came with! Kitten shattered the first day I got it (just my luck!) These shadows are very pretty but aren't really pigmented. They're very, very sheer. They have pretty good staying power but I did notice some of it was all over my face by the end of the day. I'll use them until they run out but probably won't repurchase.
