Eye Shadow -Clinique - Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for eyes

I have these in Lots O' Latte and Whopping Willow. At first, I was afraid they would be too sheer but they do go on quite pigmented. The stick form is very easy to use, just a few quick swipes and you're good to go. I find that this is easy to blend so long as you don't wait too long after the initial application. The best part is that with a primer (I use Wet n Wild), I get 16 hours of wear with these. I am so very, very impressed. I have quite oily lids and the most I usually get out of anything is 7-8 hours. These wear solidly for 16 hours without even a hint of a crease or fading. They likely would last longer but I end up having to go to bed before I can find out. I can't wait to try the other colors and see if they perform just as well. SUCH a great product.
Eye Primer -Wet 'n' Wild - Fergie Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer

Absolutely unbelievable. I've tried every high-end primer there is with varying results (usually negative). The best I'd tried was NARS, which is something like $24 a tube. I saw this in Walgreens and decided to give it a try, not expecting much. I've had my eye makeup on today for 12 hours and there is not a crease in sight and only the most minimal fading. I put on a layer of this, a thin layer of NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and my eyeshadow. For someone with super oily skin and eyelids, this is quite an accomplishment. I'm so excited that I decided to give this a try!
This color is absolutely gorgeous. I purchased 7 of the James Bond collection polishes and this one is the star of the show. I've been wearing it exclusively on my toes since the day I bought it and I still love staring at it. It's very densely packed gold glitter/foil. Opaque in two coats, lasts a long time on. Absolute perfection.
I've been using this almost daily for about a month now. I have quite oily skin (NW20) and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with this stuff. I'm the kind of girl that doesn't like a lot of fuss and muss with my products. I like things that apply quickly and easily and get the job done. After using my Clarisonic, I can apply this without having to use any other moisturizer or primer, it blends in effortlessly and matches my skin extremely well. Even on my oily skin, this lasts (almost) all day and looks very natural. It has a really lovely satin finish. I got this on amazon for around $13 and I know that I will repurchase when I run out. An easy to use product that actually delivers? Yes, please.
I agree with starrysim when it comes to this duo. The colors have such a subtle difference, when looking at them in the pan you can tell that they're different but there's a strange familiarity to them as well. With the lighter shade on the lid and the darker shade in the crease I can quite quickly create an absolutely effortless gorgeous eye. I'm not very good at working with multiple colors, I usually stick to a wash of color for day-to-day. With this, I can actually use both sides together which is fantastic. It's SO easy, the colors blend so well that it's impossible to make a mistake with it. The result is a glowy, extremely subtle smoked neutral eye. The magic of these colors isn't in the palette or in the swatches, they're on the eye. I don't understand how such a subtle difference in colors can create such a dynamic look but I'm glad that they do because this is my new go-to for everyday wear.
Brows -Make Up For Ever - Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector

I am completely and totally in love with this stuff! I have dark, sparse eyebrows and I've struggled to find something that looks natural but still gives the definition that I need. This product is amazing. You need just the smallest amount for both eyebrows so a tube will last a very long time, making it a great value. I got the color 3 which looks incredibly natural on me. I have very oily skin and this will last all day on me without fading, migrating or smearing. I use my MAC 208 to apply it and have had no application issues. Tiny dot on the back of the hand, coat the brush, start at the front of my brows and work my way through the tails, brush them with a spoolie and perfect all day. Absolute HG item here, can't say enough good things about it.
Really unimpressed with these. I purchased three after the glowing reviews thinking thy must be amazing. They went back to the store the very next day. These have a nice lightweight balmy texture but they aren't extremely pigmented. They don't last very long (on me) and give me the dreaded white ring inside my lips. For the price, I really expected something more. I'll stick with my beloved Revlon Stain Balms.
This is my absolute favorite eyeliner, I wear it almost every day. I've always felt like black was too harsh on me but I like having dark, sultry, come hither eyes. This is the perfect liner to achieve that look. It's dark but soft, like it you wore your black liner all day and it's left a lovely faded grey/black color behind. It does have shimmer to it but it's nothing that's overly noticeable on the eye, it's just a very nice effect. $15 for an eyeliner is a bit steep but it's cheaper than the Urban Decay liners by a good bit and just as good a far as texture and longevity. This is a staple in my makeup bag, so glad I found it.
I have quite oily skin so I wasn't expecting much from this foundation but after all the good reviews, I couldn't resist giving it a try. I purchased mine online from echemist.co.uk for around $14USD. I am NW20 and purchased shade 52. The texture of this foundation is really nice, it blends in effortlessly and smells quite good. I find the color match to me pretty perfect as well. On my skin, when powdered, this lasts probably 6 hours, which is about average for my skin. I like the coverage, I'd say it's a solid medium coverage foundation. I actually really like it and will probably repurchase.
Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Lovesick

Most lip balm/stains of this sort aren't very pigmented. I've used and loved the Tarte and Clinique ones. These top them and far surpass them. These are very well pigmented, they feel great on the lips, they last and they actually do leave behind a stain, unlike the other brands. I have all 12 shades. This spring/summer I'm very into bright pink lips and didn't have anything similar to this. I'm extremely pleased with this product and haven't worn anything but these stains since purchasing them.
I have these in Chunky Cherry, Fuller Fig and Mucho Melon. I got these after trying and loving one of the Tarte lip stains but feeling remorse over their hefty price tag. These are a comparable and more affordable option. I love that these impart color but don't ever look overdone. I like to keep my makeup fairly minimal but polished during the work day and these accomplish that with ease. I love how easy they are to use, you don't even really need a mirror with them. I'm excited that they have more colors coming out soon. They are quite moisturizing but, as a balm, not extremely long wearing. I'd say they last 2-3 hours on me.
BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
fustyluggz 2/27/2012 8:37:00 PM
I purchased this because it was the first drugstore "BB Cream" I've seen here in the states. Talk about a disappointment. After all the hype surrounding BB Creams my expectations were pretty high and I think this was a bad product to start with. It doesn't offer much in the way of coverage and on my oily skin, it just didn't work. Set with powder it looked decent for maybe two hours and then... nothing. It was gone. I have a moisturizer and a foundation I like so I don't need a tinted moisturizer type product that doesn't work well. I was hoping I could use this on more laid back makeup days but it went back to the store. I won't be repurchasing.
I, like so many others, found out about this through Pixiwoo. I'd only ever used drugstore moisturizers before and I was a bit worried due to the price of this. My skin is quite oily and can be sensitive from time to time. I purchased the 30ml/1 oz tube of this probably 5 or 6 months ago. I used it a few times, determined it was too heavy for me and gave it to a friend. On New Years my face was very dry and irritated so I used some and my face felt amazing. I'm not sure if it's just the different climate of winter or what but My friend gave me the tube back and I finished it off yesterday and immediately placed an order for the larger tube after screaming in horror that I had none left. This cream is light but so incredibly moisturizing, it leaves my face softer than anything else I've ever tried. I haven't had any irritation or adverse reaction of any kind with this product. I will continue purchasing this for a very long time to come, I've finally found a moisturizer that I really adore.
Eyeliner -MAC - Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner in Undercurrent
fustyluggz 2/22/2012 9:02:00 AM
This has got to be the most gorgeous eyeliner I've ever seen. Deep teal with golden shimmer. It's deep and complex, almost murky but stunning. I really like wearing this with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Edgy Emerald, they compliment each other quite well. Pearlglide eyeliners are really fantastic, they go on so easily, blend out nicely, wear for ages and look nice the whole time. I have quite a few but this is just the one that stands out the most to me.
This is the most gorgeous eyeshadow. It's very soft, and as the other user said, a bit sheer. I like the sheer aspect of it because it makes it buildable and easily maintains that soft aspect. It's a really pretty grey, purple, brownish shade. This as a wash with some very subtle black liner and mascara makes a fantastic daytime effortlessly polished look. I've been pretty disappointed with most NARS items I've purchased but I'm pretty happy wih this shadow. I removed a lippie because it creases on me in about 2 hours even with a primer. If you are looking for a good base to use with this to help with the sheer aspect, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough As Taupe is absolutely perfect.
