Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum

I bought a bottle of this a year ago and it has definitely reached HG status! I use this everytime I wash my hair and I still have half of a bottle left! After an entire year! That is amazing. I have super thick hair and it really cuts back on the drying time and seriously reduces frizz. I can use this and let my hair air dry to my normal curls and waves or blow dry my hair straight without any other products. A little goes a long way, I use one pump (about dime size amount) for my entire head of chin length hair. I rated the price a 5 because this bottle (the smaller of the two sizes the salon had) will last me two years. I think I paid $20 for it. Not bad in my book at all!
Despite the quality issues with this color, I love it. It is super sparkly and fun. It does start chipping off in huge chunks in 2-3 days but I think that's because I have to layer so much of it on my nails (4-5 coats + 2 layers of top coat)! It is also terrrrrrible to remove. Def not fun. But, I love the giant, chunky glitter so I keep wearing it regardless of the issues.
Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay eyeliner in Blackberry

I am always on the search for a great plum colored eyeliner, my eyes are a mix of blue, grey, and green and i love using plum colored liners to really bring out the green. this liner was okay, not great but not terrible. it really does stay for 16+ hours with no issues, so that is definitely a plus. the color is pretty plum with some sheen, i like it. my problem was that it was super easy to apply to my lower lashline but a lot harder to apply to the top. i had to keep going over and over it until finally i just decided it was fine because it was taking forever. i gave it 3 lippies because it is a nice color, once you get it on the way you like, and it says pretty well, i was just hoping for an easier application.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Metallic Duo - Magnetic #206

this duo is great, but i'm not sure it is for me. i think this would be excellent to do a blue toned smokey look, but it seems very extreme for me. the dark blue looks almost black when applied, but i do love the silver shade, i prefer blue toned silvers/greys, i like to apply it over a brighter blue. i think the darker shade would make a great eyeliner, though.
I love the lightsider side of this duo! it is the perfect shade of turquoise, as far as i can tell. the blue side is more of a navy blue, when applied, i would really love it if it had some sort of shimmer to it, it is VERY matte and tends to overpower the lighter shade(which does have a nice bit of shimmer to it) if applied over it at all, even a tiny bit like takes over your entire lid. this is good if you really wanted a matte navy color, i think this would also be a great color to use as an eyeliner as opposed to shadow.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Concentrated Duo - Sassy

i love, love, love the taupe side of this duo! i cannot say enough good things about it! however, the blue side is another story. the color, when swatched on my hand, looks NOTHING like it does in the duo. at all. not even close. it looks like this weird, greyish color and seriously has no color payoff, at all. i am starting to wonder if my blue side is defective, because everyone else seems to love it.
i tried this product after reading some good reviews about another shade in her line, the shade looked too dark in person but i am thinking i might want to pick it up anyway. this shade is very neutral, on my skin it came out as a brown/grey color with some shimmer to it, the shimmer was a goldy/beige color. this is definitely not a color i would normally reach for, but now that i have worn it, i think it is very pretty on my eyes. i have fair skin with black hair and blue eyes and used l'oreal's hip cream e/s in lofty as a base. this e/s lasted forever, it has been on for 12 hours now and is still going strong, no creasing or fading that i can see. however, i think the price for this is insane at $18 for the one color, while i love the color and put that i would repurchase, i don't know that i would because of the price, but not because the product isn't great.. but who has $18 to spend on e/s from target (of all places.. MAC e/s are cheaper than this..).
This color was pretty scary in the jar but i decided to give it a try anyway. The color is like a grey/brown shade with specks of green, blue, and purple, giving it a very iridescent look. i actually don't like that look, so i'm not sure why i wanted to try this in the first place. the color is very pretty, but not something i can picture myself wearing during the day, at least. i think this would be great for a more creative smokey eye look or for people who are much braver than i am. i did like the color, despite the iridescence, but i'm not really comfortable just wearing it as a day look. still a great product, just not the color for me. :)
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Eggplant

i really love the black cream eyeliner but this color wasn't anything special. it is a medium toned purple, but i find it not warm enough for my eyes, i guess. it doesn't do too much to help pop my blue/green/grey eyes. i just wisht the color was a little darker and maybe warmer? this shade also seems to require a lot more on the brush than the black, i find myself layering this to try to get the same effect. i love the black though!
this blush is okay, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, which is nice but the color recommended for my skin color is very subdued, but not necessarily in a good way. it is very hard to tell i am actually wearing any blush, which makes me reach for it less and less, why bother putting it on if it looks like i am not wearing any at all? i am still on the search for my perfect blush, hopefully my search ends soon!
i got this as part of a duo sample with peach plump. this gloss is a nice color but not one i usually reach for. i didn't really notice any plumping of my lips with this and the tingly feeling is kind of delayed with it.. it doesn't really bother me right away but after awhile this is not very comfortable on my lips. :(
this is a very pretty gloss, it is a very nice peachy color, looks great with my fair skin! i would looooove this gloss but i cannot stand the tingly feeling you get while wearing it. i still gave it a four because the gloss is great, i just don't like the feel.
this product is okay, i don't really have any acne issues, so i am not sure why they sent this sample to me, but meh. it does an okay job of helping to dry up the rare pimple i might get, but i gave this to the boy, he has more acne issues than i do.
Moisturizers -Mario Badescu - Hyaluronic Moisturizer SPF-15

this is a decent moisturizer, probably the only product out of the samples i received that i really liked. a little goes a long way and it goes a nice job of moisturizing, doesn't have a particularly strong scent, either, which is nice. i wouldn't buy this just because i would have to get it online and that would be a pain, i like my clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion just fine.
someone, please explain why celebs love this stuff? this was another just okay product out of the samples i was sent. i like the idea of using the strawberry seeds as an exfoilator buuut, they were messy. the product smells great, which is nice but i didn't notice that it was really doing anything for my skin.
