Toners -Kiehls - Cucumber Herbal Toner

I returned to the toner fold a year or so ago. Prior to this, all I did was cleanse and towel dry my face before applying moisturizer. Then I was given a sample of Kiehl's Cucumber Herbal Toner and after using it, I noticed that my moisturizer sank into my skin much better and I've been a toner convert ever since. Probably on to my third bottle of this product. Pros: - didn't irritate my skin at all - fragrance free - no stinging - moisturizer seems to sit better on my skin, I use the toner both morning and night - overall better texture to skin, no flakiness. Cons: - none really.

This is my HG treatment product and worth every penny. A few minutes once a week in the privacy of my own home. What more could a girl want? Pros: - smoothest skin I've ever known in my adult life - noticeably fewer break outs these days - even skin tone - I have fairly sensitive skin but these treatments don't dry my skin out at all - I buy the 30 sachet cartons and use one a week now, did use more earlier (a year ago). Cons: - they are expensive but I don't really use any other treatments and I don't get facials so this cost to me is pretty reasonable.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Rosa Arctica Cream

I bought Rosa Arctica on a whim because I was at Neiman's in Hawaii and was curious to try what was then an exclusive to the store. My understanding is that the cream is going to arrive in Australia soon. Thank goodness. Pros: - an excellent day cream that provides all day moisture for drier skins - fragrance free - can be used under tinted moisturizer etc. Cons: - it is quite thick and requires a bit of work to get it to absorb into the skin - it doesn't have SPF in it.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Acai Damage-Correcting Moisturizer

Another of my favourite night time products. I'm on to my second bottle already. Bought to replace the discontiuned Lycopene Cream. Pros: - convenient pump pack - light weight and easily absorbed but potent - I wear it over Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Complex - non irritant, didn't break out from this. Cons: - none really, I feel that it is reasonably priced for the quality of the product.

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Ultimate Strength Hand Salve

I wash my hands a lot at work and have to use pretty heavy duty antibacterial washes all the time so I am dependent on a good hand cream and am willing to pay a reasonable amount for a product that delivers. Pros: - thick balm that is soothing to dry and chapped skin - gets absorbed quickly and stays moisturizing until you wash your hands again - not greasy - no fragrance - non irritant. Cons: - it is expensive for hand cream.

Treatments -Kiehls - Midnight Recovery Concentrate

I've nearly finished my second bottle so it must be agreeing with me. Pros: - lighter than the rose hip oils but very potent - just sinks into the skin - doesn't have as strong a scent as rose hip oil - I use it overnight under the Acai moisturizer - no break outs - my skin just looks better these days, I also apply it around my eyes. Cons: - may be a little light for those with very dry skins - probably needs to be used in conjunction with a moisturizer for most skin types.

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Imperial Body Balm

This is my favourite Kiehl's body moisturizer hands down. Pros: - moisture lasts all day - doesn't leave my skin greasy at all - I love the fragrance, it's a rich honey scent that lingers on the skin. Cons: - it can be a little hard to rub into the skin when the weather is cold - it is expensive for a body butter.

Cleansers -Shu Uemura - High Performance Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil

It's taken me a while to get using my bottle of the green coloured version of this oil but I love it. Pros: - takes all my makeup off, even full and heavy eye make up - doesn't dry out my skin - doesn't clog my pores - easy to use, apply to dry skin, then moisten your hands to lather the oil on your face and then rinse off - love the packaging. Cons: - a bit expensive but worth it.

Eyeliner -Laura Mercier - Caviar Eye Liner - Chestnut

Love, love, love this eyeliner. I apply this using a Sigma E15 brush and straight from the compact. Pros: - great darker toned brown that is great on Asian skins for an everyday brown - easy to apply and blend - lasts all day - easy to remove. Cons: - none really.

I apply this product straight from the compact with my Sigma E15 brush. Pros: - easy to use, I get great control of the line I produce - can be blended once applied if need be - doesn't fade or flake over the day - easy to remove at the end of the day, I use a Shu cleansing oil - not a deep, harsh black so great for daytime use, for drama I'd use the LM cake eyeliner in black (needs to be moistened though) - had mine for months and it hasn't dried out at all. Cons: - is expensive but lasts for ages and a little goes a long way - not really for a dramatic look.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational ~ Red Revival

Overall, this was a solid performer but a little expensive for the quality. On me, it is very Mac Russian Red. I agree that it doesn't look 'cheap'. However, it still falls short of the leaders in lipstick (who have price tags to match). Pros: - great packaging - deep true red that didn't fade - long lasting but use a lip liner and check your lips periodically in the mirror Cons: - I found that it dried out in the tube easily. The first couple of times I used it, it was perfect in every way - colour, consistency and finish. A couple of months later, mine is harder to apply. - feathering. I will continue to use this red but it requires alot of maintenence and work to keep it going for a day of makeup for example. I have just bought a Coco Rouge in Gabrielle and will compare it when I've given it a few more wears.

I am going out on a limb here but I love this fragrance. It's gingery and melony yes but I didn't find the melon overpowering. It's very unique and I wear it daily.

Eyeliner -MAC - Smolder eye kohl

I have a love hate relationship with this eyeliner. In hindsight, I should have read the reviews here before buying but I was my local MAC counter, it was so hard to say no.... Pros: - the richest, blackest black eyeliner ever. I am Chinese and this smolder makes my eyes pop in a way that no other black eyeliner ever has. - soft and doesn't drag on eyelids - easy to remove - easy to apply on the lower lash line - great simple eye look when paired with omega or copperplate eyeshadows and shroom to highlight the brow bone. Cons: - smudges in the strangest places around my eye, on the crease way above the actual eyeliner line that I originally draw on, under the eyes (only lined my top lash line) - no shimmer for those that like this in a black eyeliner - needs to be very sharp with each use, so this pencil could get used up very quickly with regular use So there you have it, the most beautiful black eyeliner but it doesn't have the staying power and smudge proof-ness that I probably need more than the colour. I am going to test smolder out as a base for my next smoky eye look. Very disappointed with the smudge with this eye kohl. All my others have not been like this at all.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Blue Skies bubble bar

I have finally realized why I was disappointed with LUSH bath bombs etc... I was buying the wrong products for what I wanted. I love bubbles in my bath and realize now that the spherical bath bombs are not the ticket. Having said that, I love the bubble bars. Pros: - very generous size. You could get at least 3 baths from it. As I had to use mine up, I got 2 very luxurious bubble baths from mine over the weekend. - bubbles last for ages, the whole life of the bath. - subtle and relaxing scent - looks cute - skin felt soft and was not irritated despite the long soak Cons: - fragrance could be stronger Definite repurchase. My new thing is to take bubble bars with me when I go away and stay in hotels. Such a nice way to unwind.

I love this perfume. It's the first I have bought in ages and it was exactly what I was looking for. It's perfect for everyday wear at work and the scent lasts all day on my skin. It fades beautifully. I am no expert at describing scent. I notice that other reviewers have mentioned citrus and green tea elements and I agree. I am not usually a big citrus fan but will fall for those done beautifully. Love the way the catch to open the lid echoes the kelly clasp. A classy package!
