This is the best drugstore concealer I have ever come across. Maybe one of the best concealers period. I really can't believe the quality of this product for the price. I've paid triple and quadruple the price for concealers that don't work half as well. It's wonderful under my eyes, which is the only place I ever really use concealer, but I think it would probably work just as nicely on blemishes or red spots. Instead of 4 hours of sleep and 5 cups of coffee, it makes me look like I had 12 hours of sleep and a relaxing weekend at the spa. I got it in Ivory and it wears nicely and doesn't turn any weird colors. It looks just as good by the end of the day and I never even set it with powder. I'm very picky about my face products looking natural because I want to look pretty, not like I have pretty makeup on. This product delivers. Love, love, love. A+
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational Pink Me Up

This is a beautiful shade of pink, very flattering! This is a fairly neutral color and I've seen it look good on a lot of different looking people. A nice pop of color that isn't too far from natural. Great for everyday. I can't get enough of this color. Would definitely buy again. Just so people know, there is a slight scent to this line of lipsticks, comparably subtle and reminiscent of mocha. Usually scents really bother me, but this one isn't too bad. If the L'oreal fragrance is a 10 in intensity of odor, the Maybelline one is like a 1 or 2. To me, it's absolutely worth the gorgeous color.
These are really nice. I have a few of them that between sales and coupons I paid about $5 each for. The texture is nice and for me they last about the same as they do for everybody else 1-2 hours. They are not particularly moisturizing, but they don't feel dry. I especially love the feel of the ones with no glitter. The colors are all named appropriately after various sweet confections, in general they tend to be bright and not particularly natural. One thing I'd love to see from this line is more muted, wearable-in-real-life-if-you're-not-a-teenager shades. Don't get me wrong, I more than love pink and rose lipsticks, but these are more bubblegum. One of the standout shades to me is Fig Jam. I would have never ever picked it up, based on the color of the cap and the way it looks in the tube. Applied though, it is a sheer bricky-rose. I also wish they sold Macaroon in the US, but oh well.
Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Nutra Nail - Gel Perfect UV Free Gel Color

My mom, my sister, and I bought two shades (the pale pink and the bright hot pink) of this product and tried it out together. The application is a bit fussy but if it was going to last two weeks, I could deal. First you apply the activator, which smells and feels like nail glue. Then quickly before it dries, you apply the color polish. You have to be very careful, because with the wet on wet application the color sort of blooms and spreads out. If it goes off your nail, it can be very difficult to fix. Between coats, you have to soak the polish brush in a cleaner solution because otherwise it would gum up. It only took two coats to get to the shade as it appears in the bottle and it did set up incredibly quickly. As the package says, in 5 minutes it was glassy and hard. I could have put on mittens with no smudges. At this point, despite the application process, I was thinking that this was a great little product. I got my first chip on day two but it wasn't so bad and I was kinda doing a lot of work with my hands that day. But by day four the manicure was a complete mess, every single nail was chipped and on some the polish was cracking and shattering but still attached, very weird. I hate walking around with chipped polish, especially in a bright color. I called my mom and my sister and they were having the same issues. Regular polish remover alone is not enough to remove this product. You either have to buy their remover or place cotton balls soaked in 100% acetone remover over each nail, wrap them with tinfoil, and wait two minutes as per the package instructions. What a mess. Too much trouble for an inferior manicure, will not buy again.
Love this bad boy. Heats up in seconds. It hasn't damaged my hair as much as my previous (Sedu) flat iron had. It only takes a few passes to get my crazy curly hair silky and pin-straight. Makes styling my hair much quicker. Love it entirely. Well, except for the price tag.

Goodness me, I've been using this product for probably 15 years. In my teen days, it was my regular. Now I don't have much in the way of blemishes but I still keep this cheapy around for the week before my period, when I tend to have pesky breakouts. I use it as a preventative measure really and it's pretty effective, not 100% but I feel like it keeps blemishes to a minimum. For daily use, I think it'd be too drying and irritating.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

This one was okay. It gave decent coverage but had a tendency to cling to dry spots and other imperfections unattractively. It got everywhere every time I used it. I tried Bare Minerals and liked that a bit better but even then, it's just not the type of finish I want. I find it hard to make these mineral powders look very natural. Also, the cap over the brush would just not stay on. I ended up giving this one to my mom after using it for a month or two. If you like a matte finish and have skin that's less on the dry side, you might have better luck with this.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve

Don't like the tin but love what's inside. This salve is moisturizing, pleasant-smelling, and a cheerful shade of pink. I will keep buying this one just because I like it and the color and scent makes me smile but I can see how others may be confused about the cult status. There are many balms and other similar concoctions like this one. Even Vaseline does pretty much the same thing. Not at all necessary, but charming and sweet-smelling.
Too sickly sweet. Bleck. Smells like a middle school locker room.
Oooooh, I love this one! I even like how it smells. I love the fat brush and the volume is phenomenal. I've repurchased it a few times but I haven't had a tube in a little while. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a five is that drugstore mascaras are really excellent these days, making the price on this baby a tad outrageous. For now I'll stick to those, but I'm sure I haven't used my last tube of this stuff.
Pretty color but hate the shimmer. Also I think that as the day wears on this one changes color on me, ending up vaguely orange. I'm don't have greasy skin at all so I don't really know why this happens. I can understand why people like it, but just not for me.
Lipstick -Revlon - Superlustrous Lipstick - Temptress (LE)

Very nice color, it goes on as a sheer version of the color is appears in the tube. A pretty Barbie-ish pink, it says it's a creme but there is a small amount of shimmer. In terms of the color itself, I think the reviewer who said it was a cooler, sheerer version of Pink in the Afternoon was dead on. It'd be nice if they kept this one around, but if not I won't be heartbroken.
This is a fantastic drugstore find. Airy Fairy is a something like a nude but pinker. I detest nude shades because they look awful on me and this is a really nice alternative. It's an understated light pink that contains a bit of beige, with a very finely milled gold shimmer. The shimmer is barely even noticeable except in photos taken with flash. Perfect for work, job interviews, or anything requiring and a more conservative but polished look. Would also work well paired with a dramatic eye. The one and only downside is the artificial cherry scent. Like cherry Chapstick but more sickly. I would absolutely repurchase this, despite the smell, because the color is so nice and wearable.
A really cute and fun color. Has a lot more of a purpley-color than the name implies. I would call it lilac or maybe a very opaque plum. Still, a nice color for spring and be applied sheerly or heavily for different looks. Even though I like the color, it is not special enough for me to overlook the scent when considering if I will repurchase. To me it reeks of an artificial powdery perfume, it's kind of sickening. At about $5 though, it's a pretty good deal.
Adorable nail polish and aptly named! This is a great dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air. Basically, it's a sheer, pale blue base with small pink glitter and large pink and blue glitter bits. It's not meant to be opaque, so if you're looking for that you may not like this polish. Otherwise, 2-4 coats will get you to a fun amount of glitter. I've had mine on for four days and it's still shiny with no chips. Love this one!
