BB Cream -Lumene - Vitamin C+ Illuminating Anti-Age BB Cream

NOTE: This review will also NOT be comparing it to traditional BB Creams as I haven't tried any of those.
When I first swatched it, I was a little disappointed because it was so dark. Then, as I continued to blend, the makeup blended and faded into my skin! I know that BB Creams are supposed to be skin matching, but I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't really expect that.
Top photo is my face without any makeup, bottom photo is after primer & BB Cream. I'm not sure if you are supposed to wear a primer with BB Cream? But I figured it couldn't hurt.
This BB Cream claims that it: --Helps delay the signs of aging (The jury is out.) --Brightens (Not sure what this even means.) --Hydrates (Definitely not drying.) --Covers imperfections (Yes) --Evens skin tone (Yes) --Protects (SPF 20!)
Anyway. So far, so likey!
I like light coverage. Something to even out my skin tone, but not something that is, quite literally, a thick mask over my face. You know?
It had a nice dry finish (not dewey and "wet" like tinted moisturizer) without being drying. Major plus for me as I really hate the dewey look.
Bottom line: I like it! It's like a tinted moisturizer, but better. It has sheer to medium coverage with a matte-ish finish--exactly what I look for. I will definitely continue to use it! Will I repurchase? Maybe. I like to try new things so after this is all gone, I may look for a new favorite.
Price: $14.99 from Walgreens (I got it BOGOFREE plus a $2 coupon.)
**Update** So, someone said you're not supposed to wear a primer with BB cream. Well, I've tried it both ways and I like it with a primer better. I don't feel like the makeup has fantastic staying power without my favorite primer.
Eye Primer -Unlisted Brand - Addictive Cosmetics -- FixIt Spray

I really really wanted to like this primer, but it just didn't do it for me at all. It does a great job making eyeshadows pop, but then a few hours later it is CREASE CITY. Yuck! :( Also, they say you can use it as a makeup setting spray. DON'T! It makes your face feel all sticky. :( http://www.etsy.com/shop/AddictiveCosmetics
I'm not super familiar with loose eyeshadows, but I really liked these! There is a decent color selection and the shadows are very pretty and pigmented. You definitely have to use a good eye primer to get the colors to pop and stay all day. The glittery colors have fallout, but the shimmery ones do not. I like that you can get samples to try out a bunch of different colors.
Shave Products -Unlisted Brand - Coochy Shave Cream

LOVE me some Coochy! I have shaving my bikini line because I always get horrible red bumps. The first time I used Coochy, I was pretty skeptical. But guess what? This gal is a "Coochy-convert!" No bumps. No itching. Whaaaat?? Yes, it's like my miracle cream. I use regular shaving cream for my legs and Coochy for my bikini line & under arms. That way, I can stretch my dollar a little. :)
This is my HG blush. I haven't worn any other blush since I purchased this! I got it because all the reviews that it was a dupe for NARS Orgasm. Well, I don't buy he makeup. I'm strictly a drugstore gal, so I'm always on the lookout for dupes. I LOVE this blush! It's blendable, the color I think is the kind that would look good on just about anyone, it's got a hint of shimmer (which I like). I don't use the included brush, but rather, apply with my E.L.F. studio blush brush. My makeup doesn't look right without my Milani Luminous blush!
Love this quad. It's my go-to eye color. Super pigmented, soft and silky, and I can buy a second quad for a buck to throw in my purse!
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

I'm not crazy about this eyelash curler. I know that so many people love it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I had a Revlon curler for a long time that I loved, but I decided to try this one out. Hey, it's only a dollar, right? I'm just not sold. I'll keep trying it and maybe I'll change my mind...
Mascara -E.L.F. - Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara

I love this product and I'm a repeat purchaser. I have crazy eyebrows and I NEED this to tame them. :-p However, I don't ever use it as mascara, so I don't really like the dual brush. I'd rather just have one brush and one tube of gloss. For the review(s) who have said that it got cloudy after a few uses, that's your makeup getting on the brush when you use it and then mixing with the gel. If you use it on a clean face, it won't ever get cloudy.
LOVE this brush! I'm not a huge fan of the $1 E.L.F brushes because they're not always that soft, but this brush is amazing! Super soft and I like the black color better. I use this brush to apply my mineral makeup. I tap a little bit out of the container, stipple to get some makeup on the brush, tap off the excess and apply. I feel like it holds a good amount of makeup and applies it perfectly. Love this brush. If it ever breaks, I'll definitely buy another one. Oh, and I really like the sheath that comes with the brush to cover the bristles. I find it helpful when I travel just to keep the bristles safe. :)
