Cleansers -E.L.F. - Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

Even at $3, this isn't a product worth buying. It took two full cloths to fully remove my foundation, primer and eye makeup and when I washed my face the next morning (!!) guess what - still some traces of foundation. I have fairly sensitive skin so I try not to be too harsh with any product, but after my first try with these wipes, I went to town on my face trying to get my foundation off. Nope! No matter how rough or gentle you are, these wipes just suck at taking off liquid foundation. e.l.f. describes the wipes as "Gentle cloths are soft and soothing for even the most sensitive skin." (from eyeslipsface.com, 08/2012). When used on my face, the wipes felt scratchy best and over my eyes, rough. Aside from product efficacy and quality issues, the wipes repeatedly left my face feeling raw and my eyes watery and painfully stinging. Clearly one of the ingredients didn't agree with me. I bought these to clean up an Emergency Swatching Mess and quite frankly I wish I had just went to work looking like that rather than buying these. Two lippies because not everyone is going to have the same adverse reaction that I did.

Moisturizers -Simple - Light Moisturiser

This was the first moisturizer I've ever used that didn't feel like I'd slathered my face in oil. It doesn't do much beyond lightly moisturizing and softening your skin. It does last forever, though. I've switched to a slightly heavier Olay moisturizer with SPF during the day, but I'll usually put this one on at night. My skin feels lovely in the morning now. I also use it when I'm going to be outside enough to need real sunscreen for my face; Olay + sunscreen is way too heavy, but this is just right. I guess you could call Simple Light Moisturizer the Goldilocks of moisturizers? Sorry, it's 2am here. For me it's just the right combination of all the factors that go into choosing a moisturizer. It's very much a single purpose moisturizer (it...moisturizes) so it's not gonna work for everyone. If you have trouble with heavier moisturizers or have sensitive skin like I do, this one's worth a try.
