I don't really like foundations, and for years have been using a dab of Nars Gel Fraicheur in my sunscreen to even out my skin tone. It was a sad day when Nars discontinued the Gel Fraicheur...anyway, I picked this up at Target just because it was on sale. I love it. A single swirl over the face after moisturizer, then sunscreen, evens my skin out perfectly. It seems to last all day. Best of all, it doesn't make my face itch.
I have bought these time and time again, and really should do reviews of the colors, but this is just a quick note to let everyone who has complained about the tubes' regurgitation issue know that it has been fixed. I bought a new one yesterday, and it has a little valve thingy in it that none of my others have and it prevents the gloss from coming back up when you put the wand back in. About time...
At first, I loved this lipstick. It was perfect for me. The color was a cool mauve-y pink, just enough to make my lips really stand out. While not a sheer lipstick, the texture was very light and moisturizing. No funny smells either. However, something's changed with it--I don't think it's a very stable lipstick, because 5 months in, it's orangey. That's right, orange-y. Both on and in the tube. The actual surface texture in the tube has changed as well, now it's all granulated and coarse. What was formerly my favorite is now completely unwearable. I give it a 3 only because it was perfect for a couple of months. I would happily buy this again if they made it more stable though.

This lipstick is absolutely beautiful, a truly neutral bright pink. It looks beautiful in the tube, beautiful on the lips--it's one of those lipsticks that perk up your whole face. I'd give it a 5, best of the best, if it didn't stink. I almost can't handle the stink of it. When I wear it, the stink even overpowers the very strong coffee I drink.
