Crème -Laura Mercier - Silk Creme Foundation

I got a sample of this, as I’m currently trying out different foundations. I am an NC25 in Mac and the shade bamboo beige fit me perfectly. I usually wear Lancome Teint Miracle- which is pretty medium coverage, so having said that, this foundation is WAY to heavy for me. The consistency is nice on the skin, but it feels and looks like a mask! It didn’t cover acne scaring, it just looked like a cakey mess and you could see the brush strokes from my application. Meh. I would not buy this.

What is this product supposed to do again? Literally useless. I put it on at night, and I wake up in the morning and see no improvement. I am 17 but have seen other products even out my skintone to the point where I wake up and believe someone put foundation on me overnight. This didn’t clog my pores or make me break out… so 2 stars for that..

AMAZING. I woke up this morning and was like WOAH MY SKIN LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. Its as if I put on foundation overnight. It smooths out the skin makes it look flawless and perfect. Don’t be afraid of it because it’s an oil! I didn’t try it on my forehead, where my acne is, so I’ll do it tonight. This is genius.

Best eyeliner, hands down. I get compliments allll the time about how nice my eyeliner looks, and I don’t even do anything special! Granted I use an eco tools eyeliner brush for about $4 and this looks perfect all day! It is cheap compared to other gel eyeliners, and considering how long this has lasted me and how it hasnt even dried out at all, I rather buy one of these eyeliners every 2 years opposed to consistently buying cheap crap from the drugstore. I have recommended this to EVERYONE, and they all liked it :)

PROS Leaves my skin soft Takes off ALL my makeup CONS Left a subtle dry effect on my skin (and my friends when she tried it) Kind of smells like soap, so it probably could be better but then again the whole idea is “purity” I bought a larger version because it does such an amazing job at taking off my makeup, and I’m not afraid there is still foundation on my face after this. I have to go in with an acne treatment after though since this wont take care of acne, then again, it doesn't promise to. I would recommend this to anyone who wears foundation or other makeup daily.

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna

I used to hate shimmer in my blushes and bronzers but that was probably because I have never experimented with good quality shimmer. The shimmer in this bronzer gives you a sheen, so it kind of looks like you’re wearing highlighter but of course, its not obvious or extreme. I prefer this bronzer over Hoola, because it actually shows up on my skin and gives a contoured effect. I dont use bronzer so much for an all-over tan effect, but for sculpting my cheekbones. And that is exactly what this does. Would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely terrible. I will always reach towards my gel eyeliner. I’ve tried to like this.. I use it consistently to experiment and I end up sitting there for 5 minutes trying to fix the endless blotchiness of this product. The product hardly ever comes out, its dry and the brush itself starts bending and falling apart. The lid broke off the first 5 minutes of me handling it, too. I always shake it up first and still no product comes out. Cheap in price and quality. Very disappointed.

Okay so this is a great colour, lovely texture too (prefere it over mac lipsticks), but the smell… oh good god don’t get me started.. it smells like old rusting car and chemicals. I’m not a drama queen when it comes to good smelling beauty products but GEEZ I almost gaged when I accidentally tasted it. Worth $1.99 though I guess

Gorgeous!! When I wear it, I just think “bombshell”. The colour is absolutely perfect and not even noticeable, very much like angel from mac. However, I wouldnt repurchase because I have so many other lipsticks and this one doesnt really shine in comparison to others.

Holy grail!! This looks flawless and i ALWAYS get compliments on it! Im an nc25 with dark blonde/light brown hair and blue eyes, for reference. Very very flattering and not too bright!

I bought this because it is non-comedogenic and I have white-head acne. My absolute favourite foundation ever! SO much better than my old mac foundations, and the Makeup forever hd one. It lasts forever, makes your skin look like silk, is soft, very easy to blend in, and on top of all that, doesnt block your pores! Of course, lancome does test on animals so thats the only down side I can think of.

BEST.THING.EVER. Seriously how could anyone hate this? Its just perfect and flawless for everything. It’s the best lip colour ever. For cheeks I dont really use it because i find it hard to blend and veeryy sheer.

Wouldnt buy it again because it’s staying power is not good. I find it disappearing and kind of not even showing up on my nc25 skin.. im not that tan but it really doesn’t contour well. I guess this is good for an all over bronzer if you want to make your face look darker, but not so much as a cheek contour.

I bought this because I thought it was the same thing as my old mac foundation. I took it out of the packaging, swatched it… its just glitter. Looks nasty, makes me self conscious that people are looking at all the glitter on my face. If you have acne to any degree, this will glitterfy it and make it oily. Why would mac even make this foundation? The finish is not even that nice, if you want a glowy complexion, just use a highlighter! Complete waste of money. I tried to like it so much… but I hate it.

Got this as a sample… and I all I can say is- don’t waste your money. My elf eyelid prime for $1 NEVER creased, and the nice silicone feel was nice. This is creamy, yes, and it also evens out your eyelid colour.. but quite frankly I dont really care if its going to gather and look all nasty in my crease after 4 hours.
