Conditioner -Clairol - Herbal Essences- Hydralicious Reconditioning conditioner

I rarely take the time to write reviews of products because not many stand out to me but I usually rely on ratings here before purchasing anything, low or high end. my friend warned me not to buy cheap hair products! "it's like using dish soap on your hair!" but I figure, if I can get a good product for cheap, why not? so I gave this one a try and WOW IT IS A GIFT FROM THE HAIR GODS! never have I felt a conditioner make a difference that I could notice until this one. I have long, damaged, dry, stringy, blah hair that gets tangled easily (sounds lovely, right?) and this makes my hair soft, silky, smooth, and detangled. I notice a huuuugggee difference and can comb right through my hair after showering. LOVE IT! hope they never stop making it or I have to go back to having gross hair. yuck!
Hair Styling Tools -Conair - Ion Shine Instant Heat Hairsetter with Ceramic

I neverrrr write reviews anymore but I had to review these because I love them so much! I'm hopeless when it comes to hair but these are so easy even I can do them :) it only takes me about 20-30 minutes to heat them up, roll them, wait for them, remove them, and hairspray my hair. I get compliments every time I use them and my hair looks a million times better than if I just blow dry it and wear it the way I usually do. cheap, easy to use, and gives you AMAZING hair. 5+ stars!
it is not often that I will take the time to write a review, usually because I try so many products and am not easily impressed anymore. but WOW, I LOVE this mascara! I bought it on a whim and I am so glad I did. I've tried lots of different mascaras from drugstore to higher end ones such as Chanel and none of them have been quite right. I still had a few left on my list to try, all higher end, and was about to drop more than $20 on one of those when I decided to give this one a try when I was at the store. I can't believe this was $7!!! first of all, the packaging is cute and different and the brush is great (much better than the Max Factor brush that is similar). the formula is fabulous. no clumping, no smearing, it's long-lasting. I have it in black and it actually makes me short stubby eyelashes LONGER! amazing. it actually holds a curl well, too. overall it's as close to perfect as I've found. I'll always be searching "just in case" but until then, I am ditching my Chanel and L'oreal and others for this baby. :) believe the positive reviews--- this one is a keeper!
Lotions/ Creams -Yardley - Apothary Make Me Melt body cream

I love this body cream! it's thick, but not greasy. it just leaves the skin feeling soft and smelling delicious. definitely a rave from me! it has shea butter and is very moisturizing. I wish I could just slather this on my whole body everyday but unfortunately it comes in a tiny tiny tiny 4 oz. jar. :( if it was larger/cheaper... it could be the best! love this.
this product made my face extremely red/itchy and broke me out. I had to return it to the store. I didn't care for the texture or anything else about it, either. I had high hopes for this and it's too bad it didn't live up to the hype. I haven't liked other products by this brand, either. I would just warn girls with sensitive skin and acne to maybe try a test patch of this product first. overall, a bad experience.
Lip Gloss -Naturistics - Miss Kiss gloss in Cutie Chaser

I love this gloss! it's the perfect colour for me. I love the colour so much. I'm really trying to find this exact colour in a different gloss. this one doesn't last long (not in staying power, but I mean in the actual amount you get) and mine broke (poor packaging) so as much as I adore this gloss, I'm still searching. worth giving a try though, it's cheap enough to keep re-purchasing!
overall, I like this mascara just fine. mostly for the primer, which I LOVE! I don't mind the actual mascara part (I have it in blackest black) at all, though. it's not the best but it's decent. it's a little flaky and not waterproof but it doesn't irritate my eyes and I like the way it looks so it's worth it for me. application is *key*, imo. I would probably by this again. :)
Lotions/ Creams -Calgon - Body Lotion with Vitamin E and Aloe

I have this product in the "tropical dream" scent. I didn't have high hopes for this product except for the smell (I already had the body spray in this scent before I purchased this). I thought it would probably smell nice but not do much else. to my surprise, it turned out to be fabulous all around! made my arms silky smooth. :) so great! and SO cheap! under $6 at Target! these are the first 2 Calgon products I've ever heard of/tried and I can't believe I like them.
I have this in Tropical Dream and I really, really LOVE it! it's definitely a "me" smell and everyone in my family even approves (no small feat for this allergy ridden picky family, let me tell you) definitely a winner! the best part? $5.99 at Target! :)
Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads
foreverafter 2/22/2003 1:05:00 PM
I gave into the rave reviews, what can I say? I agree! these are so amazing. I have sensitive eyes/skin and these haven't irritated, either. they remove all my eye makeup (which is A LOT, so I have to use 1 pad for each eye. but that's not almays fault!) and are so convinent. love these! edit: on my 4th "jar" of these! still love them. my HG.
Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Body Oil with Sesame

I am in love with this!! I slather it on after I shower at night and put on my pajamas. it just soaks into my skin and pajamas and leaves my skin soft. it's perfect! it's replaced all other after shower products for me. it's a little messy but after all it IS OIL. :)
Lip Gloss -Too Faced - Juicy Jewels-Diamond Drenched
foreverafter 2/19/2003 6:11:00 PM
I don't normally buy products this expensive (I think it was around $21) but it was bought with Christmas money so I didn't feel AS bad for doing it. at first I wasn't too impressed but I realized the trick to using this is proper application. if you apply the dark liquid lipstick side too heavily, it will be an ugly mess! at least on me. what I've found works for making gorgeous lips is to use a very tiny amount of the liquid lipstick and then apply a thick layer of the lighter gloss for shiny sparkly pink lips! diamond drenched, indeed. the only downfall is the price. otherwise, 2 thumbs up!
I have this in Sand and I absolutely love it! it stays on and isn't terribly trying, though I do like to put something over it, like chapstick or lipgloss. overall, it's a steal. :)
for $1.00, you CANNOT go wrong. smells like vanilla and makes lips nice and shiny. because it has a sponge applicator if I apply this over lipstick it mixes into the clear gloss and makes my lipgloss look pinkish- but for $1.00, I don't mind. if you're a plain clear gloss wearer, this might be HG. for me, it's just a nice addition. I wear it when I can pull myself away from my BB gloss and for touchups during the day. always in my purse. :) I bought it at Long's but I hear they sell it at Dollar Stores, too.
Lip Gloss -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Lip Gloss - Rose Sugar
foreverafter 1/28/2003 10:11:00 PM
words can't express how much I love this. it's just... my favourite. initally, I wasn't all that impressed. but I find myself reaching for it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I try it under and over tons of lip products (side note: my current favourite is applying a generous amount of Prestige Waterproof Lipliner in Sand and then a light coat of the Rose Sugar gloss on top. it looks beautiful and has amazing staying power! I wore it to the dentist and they were so impressed. haha!) but it does put me in a makeup rut. a small price to pay for such an amazing gloss. perfect texture, colour, everything. the only negative is the price ($18 for a small tube) which isn't in my budget.
