Wow, impressive top coat! Dries out in minutes and is really strong, so my nailpolish (mostly China Glaze) doesn't chip as fast as it would normally do. I'll be sticking to this one as long as they haven't invented something similar in a better-looking bottle :)
Let me just say that this is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to my daily skin-care routine!!! I LOVE IT! I am actually looking forward to putting it on my face in the morning. It smells divine, it is light, the packaging is great, it is moisturizing, it is 100% natural and absolutely not greasy. Fantastic product!
Masks -DDF - Sulfur Therapeutic Mask [DISCONTINUED]
foaloke 3/15/2010 12:09:00 PM
A great mask and a night spot-treatment! Keeps all the break-outs at bay. I use it once or twice a week at night, since it does cause a bit of redness. The only downside is the packaging (it tends to dry out a little, if you don't screw the lid on real tight) and the smell of sulfur. I do smell like matches afterwards! :) But it is definitely worth it, it cleared up my skin significantly. You should consider investing into an AHA peeling mask or cream as well (since this one is quite drying), to help fight flaky skin and lighten any acne scarring and sundamage.
Treatments (Eye) -100 Percent Pure - Organic Acai Berry Anti-aging Eye Cream
foaloke 3/15/2010 12:04:00 PM
Love the Acai eye cream, especially since they've changed to air-tight pump packaging! It is very light while applying it, however I use this only at night. It is a bit difficult to put make up on, since it leaves a residue and the eye-shadow doesn't want to stay on. However, it is perfect as a night treatment, the skin around my eyes is super smooth and I have zero dark circles! For daytime I use Jurlique's herbal recovery eye gel! It's great too, works somewhat as a primer.
Treatments -Decleor - Aromessence Ylang Ylang Night Balm
foaloke 3/15/2010 11:50:00 AM
Wonderful night treatment for me with combination/oily T-zone skin! I have been using it for a few weeks now and it calmed my skin down a lot. No breakouts, not greasy, just glowing skin in the morning. I believe it lightens and evens out the skin tone somewhat as well. The smell is very relaxing, a real pleasure using it before going to bed. Love it!
Treatments -Ren - Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask
foaloke 3/7/2010 6:54:00 PM
Great peeling! It brings out all the impurities in the skin to the surface, which makes them easy to remove. If you have acne scarring or discoloration, this mask will lighten them up significantly. Skin looks lighter and brighter as soon as you wash it off! I use it together with Ren's Detox mask like many people recommended, and it definitely is a winning combination.
Well... I have been using this stuff for about 3 weeks now and it didn't do anything at all in terms of improving my skin. It's just sticky. I like the cute bottle, but the pros end here.
Moisturizers -Ren - mayblossom and konjac moisturiser
foaloke 2/24/2010 3:49:00 PM
A wonderful light moisturizer, perfect to use in the morning and under makeup. Works a bit as a primer! It is perfect for a bit oily/combination skin, however it might be not enough for people with dry skin. I complement it with Suki's or one of Ren's serums at night. Great packaging by the way, very hygienic.
Moisturizers -Sukí - Suki Pure Facial Moisture - Balancing
foaloke 2/24/2010 3:45:00 PM
I am a little bit concerned whether or not I like the new packaging better than the old one. A pump seems a bit more hygienic to me. However that being said it is a great product. I mix it up with my moisturizer at night or use it on it's own (also at night). I have combination skin, so it is too oily for me to use under my make-up, but it definitely calms and soothes the skin overnight. Helps prevent and actually clears up the blemishes too! Love it!
Moisturizers -Ren - Frankincense and Boswellia Serrata Repair Cream
foaloke 2/24/2010 3:34:00 PM
I wanted to love this cream, since I've been trying to use organic/natural skincare products for the last couple of years. However, it appears to be way too greasy for my skin. It broke me out after a couple of days. I live in Sweden and this winter has been really cold (up to or should I say down to -20C) and I hoped this night cream would work for me, but unfortunately it didn't. I'll try using it perhaps every third day and see if this is going to fit my skin any better.
I've been using the balancing toner and it's absolutely great stuff!!! Very refreshing, smells wonderful and I like that it's a "mist". It is much easier to apply any of the serums/creams while your face is still moist with it. My husband would use only this toner, without anything following it, since he thinks most of the creams feel too greasy, and there is definitely enough moisture in it to keep his skin happy :) It's one of my absolute favourite toners!
Cleansers -Sukí - Suki Naturals Lemongrass Cleanser
foaloke 2/24/2010 3:20:00 PM
I loooove Suki's whole range. Their products are truly wonderful and really improve the skin, both in texture and colour. Lemongrass cleanser smells absolutely divine and it leaves the face sqeaky clean without drying it up. The overall complexion appears brighter right away! I would follow it with Suki's balancing serum (for combination skin) mixed with a pump or two of their Velvet moisturizer or one of Ren's products which I also happen to like a lot.
Skincare - Face -Guinot - Gommage Biologique-Biological Peeling Radience Gel
foaloke 2/24/2010 3:15:00 PM
Well, what can I say, I've used up a whole tube of this exfoliator, and didn't notice much difference/improvement in my skin texture or colour. It is way too mild for me I think, it never got rid of the flaky areas, so I had to use a microfiber tower or a scrub afterwards anyways. I would not buy this again!
Scrubs -Unlisted Brand - Stem Organics - Smooth Skin Exfoliant
foaloke 2/1/2010 3:59:00 PM
Love this scrub! Reminds of the one from Dr Brandt, but it's all natural. Very gentle and helps a lot with clogged pores. Definitely going to buy it again!
Lovely glittery red!!! I saw that other reviewers had problem removing it - perhaps it's time to buy another nail polish remover? It may be a little bit more difficult to take it off than the polish without glitter, but it's no big deal. Will definitely re-purchase...
