I picked this up at Sally Beauty Supply yesterday and I think I am in love! Until recently, I had not used Quick Dry Top Coats before until I read about Seche Vite on the Nail Board. I guess SV and my body chemistry just did not get along because it would take HOURS to dry. So, I set out in search of a new QDTC using the reviews here. I came upon Out The Door's reviews and found that some people were saying they didn't like it and that SV was better. I figured if SV is better for them, and SV is awful on me, this just might be the ticket! I used this over a basecoat and 2 coats of color. It did not magically dry instantly, but took about 30 mins for it to be completely dry. Here I am on day 2 and my nails are still perfect, not even smudged or marked up from sleeping (which is a miracle for me!) This is definitely my new HG top coat!

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete with SPF 15 Lotion

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago and love it. Very nice formula and it moisturizes really well. Plus SPF as a bonus. It hasn't caused me any break-outs like some other SPF-containing moisturizers have, which is great. I actually picked up a 2-pack at Costco when they had an additional coupon, so I got 2 for the price of 1 in a regular store. Great buy and and will definitely re-buy.

Moisturizers -Olay - Hydrating Beauty Fluid

I have oily but aging (read: drying out) skin and my usual moisturizer was just not cutting it anymore. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a bottle of this moisturizer, I figured it had been around forever for a reason, right? While this formula is nice, it isn't very moisturizing. Even after applying, my face still seemed tight and felt really parched just a few hours later. I used this at night and would usually end up applying another moisturizer on top of it before bed. Will not be re-buying.

Gels/Soaps -Shea Moisture - Organic African Black Soap

I originally bought this product to use in the shower. I was having a problem breaking out on my chest and back after getting all sweaty working outside in the garden. MUA suggested this soap and it has worked great for that purpose. I also started using it on my face. I have oily, but aging, skin with giant pores. This soap has worked wonders on my face. My pores have shrunk considerably and I rarely get any pimples. I use it twice a day: in the morning I use and exfoliating pad with it, and at night I use it by itself. It really clears out any make-up left behind after using m.u. remover wipes as well. I can see why some have said that it dries out their skin, sometimes I do seem a bit over-dry after using, but after applying moisturizer I am good to go. Will definitely re-buy.

Treatments -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment

I have thick, wavy, color treated hair that gets super frizzy easily. I have tried pretty much every anti-frizz product out there, including MoroccanOil. I have always ended up going back to John Freida Frizz-Ease serum, it works for frizz, but also turns my hair to straw. I picked this up about a week ago and love it! I use a little after plopping my hair, before air-drying. It beats the frizz and leaves my hair soft and moisturized, not at all drying. The scent it really nice too, I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is, but it is very fruity. Definitely my go-to product from now on!

Cleansers -Simple - Moisturizing Facial Wash

I have been using this product for about 10 days now; at first I loved it, it left my skin in wonderful condition after washing. But now, it leaves my skin dry and flaky. My skin is not very sensitive either, so I do not know what is happening with this product. This is something I will definitely not buy again.

Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup

I have been trying this foundation in different ways over the last few days and I am still torn about my opinion. I've tried it with primer, without primer, with powder, without powder, and all variables in between. I have very oily, but aging (so dehydrated) skin. I used the Nude color and it is a perfect match on me. The coverage is nice (medium, but can be layered) and the formula is good - a little goes a very long way, the jar seems like it would last years! But, as soon as I put it on, the foundation sucks all of the hydration out of my skin, leaving it parched and with some flakes. Therefore, I cannot use a powder on top of it, that just makes my skin look really dried out. I've always worn a powder over my foundation so this is sort of odd to me and throws off the rest of my makeup application. I am still 50/50 with the pros and cons of this foundation. Not sure if I would buy again.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

Like all Clinique products I have tried in the past, this was a disappointment and and I will not be purchasing again. The color is perfect for me, but as soon as I put this lipstick on, my lips shrivel into raisins - it is SO DRYING. I've tried applying it over lip balm, but then it doesn't stay on my lips. Beautiful color, horrible formula.

I bought both the Keratin Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner and used them together. I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair. The products made my hair look great, but it felt like straw, very dry. I will not be purchasing this product again and I definitely would not recommend it to others.

I bought this serum, along with the coordinating shampoo and conditioner, for my long, thick, and wavy/curly hair. I wanted to love it, but I just didn't. After towel-drying my hair, I used 4 pumps of the product and distributed it evenly. I tried both air-drying and blow-drying my hair to see if it made a difference in the end result (it did not). My hair looked great, but felt like straw. It was really, really bad - dry and stiff. I used the product 3 times to make sure it was not user-error on my part. Same results every time. I would not buy this again, nor would I recommend it to others.

Polishes -Zoya - Maya

This is the first color from Zoya I have ever used, so I wasn't sure what to expect formula/brush wise. This particular color is a very nice coral, although it is a bit sheer, which I was not expecting. It is definitely a 3-coater for me to get the color I want. I find that the brush is very small and stiff, which I do not like. I like using this color on my toes and the small brush makes it easy on the smaller toes, but a bit of a pain on the big toe. All in all, this is a nice polish and color, but I don't think I would buy again due to the brush.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

I have only used this product a few times, but I like it. It adds incredible shine and decreases drying time of my manicure...but I haven't had the amazing dry-time results that some other reviewers have posted. Instead of the 5 minute or less dry times I have seen, it is more like 10 - 15 minutes for me. I use this over 1 layer of base, 2 - 3 layers of color, and 1 layer no-chip top coat. I don't know if the extended dry time is user-error or what. With that being said, I do appreciate the quicker dry time and will definitely rebuy.

Wonderful color, but it needed 3 coats for it to not be streaky, so that is a bit of a letdown.
