The repairing lotion is the real hero in the ProActiv System. I have had acne since I was a teenager and still get spots on my face and I am now in my 30's. Yes, when you use the full SYSTEM (cleanser, toner, repairing lotion) religiously, you will obviously see a huge improvement. HOWEVER...you can get the same results for a lot less money by just getting the repairing lotion, but using a regular mild cleanser and toner beforehand. The Repairing Lotion is great, as it contains Benzoyl Peroxide, but a low enough percentage of BP so as to not over-dry or irritate your face. I use it after cleansing and it keeps my breakouts at bay and dries out existing spots fast. I must emphasize that you must be DILIGENT about cleaning your skin and applying it regularily...and drink plenty of H2O...that's a given!!
HALLELUJAH! Parissa Eyebrow Mini Wax Strips. This is, by FAR, the best, and may I emphasize, PAIN-FREE, eyebrow shaping strips on the market today. Retails for about 8 bucks CDN, you get 32 little strips that you have to cut individually (which is great as I like to contour the strips manually with tiny scissors). You don't even have to warm them in your hands before peeling apart like other strips. Comes with a little bottle of Azulene oil for post-waxing. I have also used the strips on my upper lip in a pinch, and they worked there as well...just don't recommend it for upper-lip as the strips are small and you wouldnt want to waste them on an area that doesnt require shaping. I use about 8-10 strips per waxing session, so you get about 3 uses per box. Very economical in comparison to 10 dollar professional waxing services. Overall, the best home-waxing kit for eyebrows that I have ever came across. And I reiterate - PAIN-FREE!
My first review EVER! Ok, so we all know that finding the perfect shade of blush is a giant pain in the keester. I had heard about NARS Blush in Orgasm, that it gives you the perfect flush to your cheeks - a lovely balance of pink and peach with a soft shimmer. I purchased the NARS Multiple stick, as I am a spaz at applying makeup properly, from Sephora...I applied it to my winter-paled cheeks...voila! A beautiful and natural flush with a pretty shimmer! I highly recommend this product - it is a little more expensive but so worth it for beautiful colour!
