Cleansers -Clarins - Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel

This is a fairly basic gel cleanser. It cleans very well and is not too drying on my combo/dry skin, and I am using it during the Canadian winter. You don't need a lot -- a pea-sized drop does the job on makeup. It is fragranced with a light citrus/fruit scent, which could be irritating if you have sensitive skin. At C$15 for a 75mL tube, it's part of a lower-priced range at Clarins, aimed at a younger market. I'm not sure it's any better than a good cleanser from the drugstore, but it works perfectly well for me.
Super gorgeous deep teal cream. Applies brilliantly. Love!
I love the bottle, but the perfume just does not work for me at all. The first blast is hairspray, with a particular cheap synthetic-smelling note that is especially bad and makes me want to choke. All of this tones down a bit after about 10 minutes, but it's still there and the rest of the vaguely floral fragrance is definitely not worth suffering for. Staying power on my wrist was about 3 hours.
Gave it a spritz at the mall...it smells sharply of soap, and not the fancy kind. Not horrible by any means, but not my thing. It didn't last very long on my skin.
Sickeningly sweet and hangs on forever. I haven't liked anything from Lancome in quite a while now (Tresor in Love, Tresor Midnight Rose, Magnifique, Hypnose are all nauseating to me), so I think I need to stop testing their new fragrances. A pity, as I like many of their older ones.
Cleansers -Nuxe - Melting Cleansing Gel With Rose Petals

This creamy cleansing gel smells lovely (I am a rose fan) and feels very gentle on the skin. I don't find that it removes makeup well at all, though, and I have tried using it both on damp skin and dry skin. I think this would work really well for someone with dry skin who does not wear much, if any, makeup. The strong fragrance may also irritate sensitive skin. I have dry/combo skin, wear makeup, and this cleanser doesn't work well for me. I'll use it up in the mornings when I have no makeup to remove, but would not repurchase this. The fliptop cap could be a little easier to open, too. Ingredients (paraben-free): Aqua/water, rosa damascena flower water, macadamia integrifolia seed oil, parfum/fragrance, coco-glucoside, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, glycerin, benzyl alcohol, capryloyl glycine, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, allantoin, tetrasodium edta, dehydroacetic acid, glycine soja (soybean) oil, beta-carotene, daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract, tocopherol.
Nice creme finish grey/brown taupe, a little ugly in the bottle but quite chic once on. Deep but not dark/vampy. I'm ~NC30 and it works well on my skintone. Great application and wear as usual, from Orly.
I have thick hair and a troublesome, oily scalp, and this shampoo works really well to wash out the oil without leaving my scalp and hair feeling dry. It doesn't work miracles or anything, but it cleans very well and smells nice. I love that it's SLS-free and cruelty-free. It's pretty reasonably priced for an organic shampoo, and I am definitely going to try more from this line.
Conditioner -Yves Rocher - Botanical Hair Care, Nutrition Nourishing Conditioner

A full size of this conditioner came free with a YR order. It was absolutely awful and it actually left my hair and scalp greasy. I tried it several times and it was terrible every time. I threw it out, and I normally hate wasting anything. I would give it a 0 rating if I could.
Spritzed twice on my arm in the store and it followed me around all day long, for probably 10 hours (hot day, though). Points for lasting power, but otherwise it's a generic floral with some oriental notes.
Might as well just carry a cut tangerine around with me--it'd last longer if I wanted to smell just like a tangerine. Don't get me wrong, I love the scent of citrus, but this is basically just (wonderful, realistic) tangerine for about around a half hour, then it disappears into just about nothing on me.
Oooh I love this one! There's really nothing mind-blowing about it, it's a simple, light spring-y rose with a bit of ylang-ylang, a touch of sweet lemon. I love it from start to finish. I don't quite know why it appeals to me so much, but I find it cozy and comfortable. The adorable, retro-styled bottle looks great, as well. Mine is an EDT (I don't know whether it comes in an EDP) but a few spritzes lasts well enough on me, for at least a few hours. This is quite a lot for me, as my skin tends to suck up fragrance. Would definitely repurchase and I hope they do not discontinue this.
It lives up to its name, but in a bland kind of way. Sweet and not unpleasant, but I have no desire to smell like it. Longevity for me was decent, a few hours. DH couldn't stand it!
Nice, light floral, a little "smoky" like the other reviewers have mentioned. Not too exciting but it is a little different and it's growing on me. I would probably repurchase since it was so cheap, but I doubt I'll use up the big bottle I have!
I've had this for years (it was my first AL purchase along with Sunday Girl) and I still love it. It's a beautiful, versatile anise scent. I think the prices have gone up a little but I would definitely repurchase.
