Moisturizers -Origins - NIght-A-Mins Cream

I love this night cream. It makes my skin smooth and supple the next day. I use this cream at night during the winter and it moisturizes my skin well. I ran out of it and had been using the dr. well face cream for a week or more and I've noticed it does not do a great job like this cream for me.

I love this lipstick. I love YSL products and as usual, this product did not disappoint me. I was not into lipstick/gloss in the past years but recently I am. I got this in the summer when it was first released. I had a hard time choosing between 103 and 104. However 103 looks better on my tanned, olive yellow undertone skin. In the tube, it looks pink with a hint of purple undertone; on the lips, it appears to be a warm rosy pink with golden toned shimmers. Like the rouge volupte line, this is pigmented, somewhat moisturizing (doesnt make my lip peel) and smooth. This color is good for all season and all occasion! I will definitely look into the other colors of this range.

Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum

This product is amazing! I was hesitant to buy the product when i was at the dior counter as I'm not a mascara girl, my eyes are quite sensitive and in winters, they get red easily, especially with mascara on, but I also always want to try new products and that I trust my beauty advisor there. She tried it on my lashes with the diorshow mascara after, my lashes turned very thick and as if I was wearing false lashes! I instantly looked like a doll. She told me a few of the Lancome girls got this product too as they like it better than the lancome's, so i gave in. I tried the lancome one before and I didnt like it that much so I returned it. After I got this serum, I have been using mascara more often, in which usually i only use eyeliner. This one dries almost clear (some white tips), it plumps up my lashes without adding weight to it. My eyes arent as red as when I use mascara alone (this might have sth to do with the sleep i get too). And when I remove the eye makeup, it makes the mascara to come off so much easier. I only pad the cotton on my eyes for like a minute and everything dissolves on the cotton. However, I do not notice any lengthening or darkening of lashes "yet" since I've only been using this for about 2 weeks and I do not use it at night.

Treatments -Kerastase - Oleo-Relax Serum

I love this product! This is my first kerastase hair product that my stylist introduced me into to reduce frizz as I get layered haircut and that the texture of my hair is fine-medium so it does get frizzy if i don't blow dry it. For your reference, I have pretty straight, mid-long length hair. I have been using this product for at least 3 years. I use 1-2 pumps to my towel dried hair then use the aveda brilliant spray for thermal protection. (best results to use it in towel-dried hair, I've tried putting it when my hair was almost dried, but it felt a bit oily). This serum leaves my hair very soft and silky smooth. I also love that floral scent (some people might hate it though). It really does what it claims to. I always get complements about my hair and this serum is the trick to it! Even though it is very pricey, a bottle lasts me for about a year and it does nice things for my hair.

Makeup Brushes -Quo - Retractable Lip Brush

I got this brush today. i tried using it to apply my lipstick and it doesn't do a great job. First, the brush is not tapered/ round, the tip is flat and the bristles are all the same length which makes the application uneven. Second, the bristles are hard so rather than putting the color on my lip, its dragging the color

I got a sample from sephora and have been using it for more than 2 weeks. I really like this eye "cream" that i went out and got the full size. The texture is like a gel + cream. It does moisturizes my eyes. As my under eye areas are more moisturized, so the dry lines are less visible. I sometimes use my Origins- Youthtopia eye cream underneath then layer it with this one. I use it before my eye makeup and it goes on smoothly. However, it is expensive, it costs CDN$60; but this is a high-end brand so it is expectable.

Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - 234 Pink Stiletto

I believe this is a limited edition lipgloss from the holiday 2010 collection. In the tube, it is a very pretty light warm pink with good flecks. When applied it is very sheer with a hint of coral color. I think this gloss is very similar to NARS greek holiday.

I LOVE this brush! This brush is a kabuki style face brush which came in a wooden box with a transparent plastic circular cover that holds the brush and bristles together. I have the Laura Mericer angled face powder brush and the MAC 182, both the kabuki style brush and I have to say i like this brush the most! The bristles are the softest, still firm enough to hold the shape as I find the LM one pokes my face a little bit. The brush picks up the right amount of powder and blends powder easily onto my skin. I love using this brush with the EB's bronzer

This is a very good quality eye brush. It came in a black wooden box. The brush is very fluffy and is slightly bigger than the MAC 217. The bristles are natural hair in black. I find the bristles not very even/ they don't stay together, some are sticking out which really bugs me. This brush is best for applying one color on the lid or for blending.

Lip Gloss -Edward Bess - Deep Shine Lip Gloss

I ordered desert glow with the lipstick in Nude Lotus. Desert glow is a very natural beige color which can neutralizes/ tone down the red in the lip a little bit. It works really well with Nude lotus. I found this gloss a little sticky but because of this formula, I find that the colors last really long on my lips when the gloss is applied on top of the lipstick.

I ordered Dusk, it is a smokey, taupe grey color with some gold shimmer. The gold shimmer doesn't show when it's applied, but it gives a really natural glow/ sheen on the eyes- not metallic. The shadow is very sheer, its blendable and buildable. It applies like the giorgio armani ones, but the color does not show up/ come out as much as the GA ones but they are still very good quality. I think i'll order intimate next.

This is my first time trying out EB products. I ordered the Nude Lotus. I'm in love with this lip stick. I really like nude lips and the other nude lipstick i have is MAC's peachstock. This one is not as peachy. It's quite sheer and very moisturizing unlike the MAC ones which have a a quick and creamy consistency. I would definitely repurchase this product and try out some other colours. Also, nude lotus looks really good with Desert glow lipgloss and the gloss helps to hold the color. I'm really happy with my purchase

Treatments -Aveda - Brilliant Damage Control Spray

I really like this product, just not the price tag. I use it daily after i towel dry my hair before blow-drying. I like to use products that leaves a natural finish/ not sticky on my hair and the sales introduced this product to me. I spray this all over with my hand smoothing and distributing the product equally on my hair. I feel that my hair is not as dry when i use this prior to the blow dry session. I love the natural smell of the spray too!

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

I got the "dior best in show" mascara duo at sephora, which consists the diorshow and diorshow black out. The diorshow is very disappointing. It doesn't hold curls and it only adds a bit of length and volume to my lashes. After a few hours, there's greyish tint at the lower corners of my eye. This does not worth the money. For that price tag, i've tried YSL faux cils and giorgio armani's eyes to kill which are way better than this. I think maybelline's colossal does similar effect or even better than this

I quite like this mascara. I don't like my lashes to look too fake but i still want them to look longer and thicker and this one is perfect for what I'm looking for. I've used high-end mascaras and I think the quality is very good for a drug store mascara. It adds volume and lengths my lashes yet doesn't look "too much". .
